[October 19, 2026] VRChat Trending Snapshot — This Week's Fastest-Rising on Booth

Every week, this "Trending Snapshot" captures the newest Booth releases pulling in likes the fastest, ranked by how quickly those likes pile up. When something climbs this fast, there's always a reason behind it — and reading that reason from both the work itself and the way it was released is what this weekly report is for. It's written for creators, to send you home with a hint for your next project.

The October 19, 2026 issue (measured October 19) is led by a mummy costume that winds bandages, paper talismans and a padlocked chain around the body, at 8,867 likes three days in. Here are the thirty from a week with Halloween less than two weeks off.

🔎 About this article This is a quick digest of the new releases a lot of people are watching right now. It lists items released on Booth within the last three months with 300+ likes, ordered by how fast those likes accumulate (likes ÷ days since release; measured 2026-10-19). Rankings shift a lot depending on when VRCFinder collects data, so treat them as a rough guide. Like counts, giveaways, and sales are all snapshots from the measurement date — use this as a window onto what's new and talked-about.

This Week's Top 10

This is a momentum ranking — likes at the measurement date divided by days since release. It isn't ordered by total likes, so something published only days ago can sit near the top.

#1: UNSEAL ME / BITE

8,867 likes three days in. A full mummy costume that winds bandages, paper talismans, chains and a padlock around the body. BITE made it as a Halloween look, and even put a talisman between the avatar's lips.

The bandages wrap diagonally from the neck down the arms, from the chest to the waist, and on down the legs, with chain cuffs hanging at the wrists and ankles. A thick chain with a padlock hangs from the neck, and talismans sit on the chest and thigh. The one at the mouth has its own bone, so you can move it and change its angle and size.

What I like most is that you get to choose how stained the bandages are. The red stains are layered on lilToon's Main Color 2nd and 3rd, one light and one heavy, and each turns on or off with a single checkbox. You can wear the bandages spotless white, or pile the red on thick.

Support covers Shinano, Milltina, Mayo, Kumaly, Kaguya, Airi and 12 avatars in all, and Prefabs set up with Modular Avatar's Blendshape Sync are included. The regular price from November 1 is ¥1,000 for the full pack and ¥600 single; at the measurement date a Halloween sale through October 31 had them at ¥700 and ¥400.

#2: Shock Bunny / TiramisU

7,235 likes three days in. A bunny set of stitched-together ears and coat, bolts in the head, and a defibrillator (AED). TiramisU took #1 in the August 10 issue with Devi Chord, an outfit that came with a bass guitar and an amp — and once again, this outfit comes with something you can actually do.

A white mini dress goes under a patchwork coat crossed with seams. The bunny ears are stitched too, and a bolt sticks out from the side of the head. One leg is bandaged, the other wears a patchwork thigh-high, and a pouch with carrots tucked into it hangs from the thigh strap.

The defibrillator is the heart of the gimmick. Pull it out from the menu, bring the two paddles together, and it charges with an effect. Press the paddles side by side against yourself or someone else, and lightning strikes. Shock yourself and electricity runs through the bolts in your head; the bolts' shaking animation and a lightning strike on yourself are also available on their own. The character's look turns directly into a way to play — pressing the paddles to a friend is a little show in itself.

There are six colorways, including green, purple, pink and blue, and the full package covers 22 avatars, with Manuka, Shinano, Milltina, Lumina, Mayo, Misaki and more among them. List price is ¥2,690 for the full package and ¥1,190 single; at the measurement date an opening sale through October 24 had them at half price, ¥1,350 and ¥590. The page already lays out the next step back: 30% off from the 25th through the 31st.

#3: With Phone / //Alive: 02;

8,286 likes seven days in. A smartphone for VRChat that your avatar holds in its hand. Even when you're in different worlds or instances, you can message friends, talk to them by voice, and show them your screen.

VRChat avatars can't talk to the outside internet directly. So With Phone comes with companion software that runs on your PC and links VRChat's OSC to the With Phone servers. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, and the developer has filed as a telecommunications business in Japan.

Sending a quick word to someone in another world, or just calling out to them — the kind of thing you used to switch to an app outside VRChat for — now happens in the palm of your avatar's hand, and that's the appeal. There's also "Cat Camera," where a white cat companion flies around with a camera and takes photos from its point of view, and friend registration that works just by touching phones with the person in front of you.

Between the public beta launch on October 12 and the 17th it got three updates, adding English, a lightweight version that keeps synced parameters to about 25 bits, and microphone selection so a voice changer can go through. It's free during the beta, with a paid license planned for the full release. A ¥500 server-support edition is also listed, and it runs on PC VRChat with Modular Avatar.

#4: Akira / Komucha no Omise

5,431 likes five days in. A free original avatar built around a lazy angel boy. He came down to the human world and has been enjoying a shut-in life of games, manga and the internet ever since — and that setup turns straight into gimmicks.

When you go AFK, he pulls out a TV and starts playing a game on his own, with pixel art actually moving on the screen. His original four-panel manga can really be read page by page, and you can pin it in the world to read with friends. Alongside moves like charging his halo to set off an explosion in front of him or chugging a juice, there's even a four-panel meme that completes when four Akiras get together.

The halo changes shape with his expression, turning into flames or a flexed arm. There are 132 expressions, and outfit changes — three outfits plus halo swaps — all come with motion and effects. A custom tool called "Akira System," which fits outfits to Akira's body automatically, lets you customize him while keeping the gimmicks intact.

The way it's handed out is thought through, too: the free version's zip is locked, and joining the creator's early-release campaign on X gets you the password by email. The paid "meal" plans at ¥650, ¥2,200 and ¥5,000 have the same contents, with a behind-the-scenes "invitation letter" as the only extra. He's about 76,000 polygons and PC VRChat only.

#5: KASANE / ANNYON

5,794 likes six days after the page went up. A modern Japanese set that layers a belted harness and chains over long, wide-cuffed sleeves. ANNYON opened the product page on October 13 and started selling on the 16th.

Long sleeves with a Japanese pattern spread wide from a short wrap-front top. At the waist, belts cinch several times over an obi, and below, hakama pants are layered with a wrap skirt with a deep slit. Chain-wrapped platform boots finish the feet, and fine chain accessories hang at the neck and ears.

It keeps the palette to two colors, black and white, and lets the layering of obi, harness and chains do the talking instead. It's split into 15 parts, with four harnesses alone, so you can change the feel by how many belts you cinch. The whole thing is 97,484 polygons with two materials.

Support covers Natsume, Shinra, Shinano, Manuka, Milltina, Airi and 18 avatars in all. Updates fixing per-avatar clipping and mesh issues landed on each of the two days after release. List price is ¥3,500 for the full pack and ¥1,500 single; at the measurement date a launch sale through October 31 had them at ¥2,800 and ¥1,200.

#6: Milk Short Hair / GLAY Unknown

2,875 likes three days in. A tousled short cut with cow ears, small horns, and even a yellow ear tag. It's the new release from GLAY Unknown, the creator of the popular "Bloom braid bun Hair Ver.2," and most of the sample shots use masculine avatars.

White cow ears with black spots hang from the sides of the short, scattered-tip hair, pink on the inside. Two small silver horns sit on the head, and a numbered ear tag hangs from one ear. It packs the cow motif of its "Milk" name into a single hairstyle.

It supports 15 avatars: six masculine ones — Alué, Komano, Hanka, Suzuya, Yuri and Minase — and feminine ones like Mayo, Shinano, Milltina and Airi. A cute hairstyle with animal ears that masculine avatars can wear as-is, with support lined up for both from day one.

Shape keys change the ears' size, angle and position, and the length and shape of the back hair and ahoge. There are 20 colors plus five mask patterns for streaks and inner color, and it's ¥990.

#7: Nocturne Wisp / #Relee

3,709 likes four days in. A hooded long cloak with a glowing flame pattern, paired with a short dress — #Relee describes it as "a fantastical Halloween night spent with purple will-o'-the-wisps."

Flame patterns like ghost lights rise from the cloak's hem and glow faintly in the dark. Two small flames burn on top of the hood, and underneath is a mini dress with a ribbon tied at the chest. Thin bands wrap the legs, with leg warmers and platform shoes. Floating nearby are a small, smiling ghost and a wisp.

There are twelve colorways — blue and purple, plus red, white, black, cream and more — and the cloak's flames change color with each. Even as a Halloween costume, it lets you be the one walking through the night with a ghost in tow, rather than dressing up as the ghost itself.

Support includes Kaguya, Mayo, Kumaly, Milltina, Shinano, Airi and more. List price is ¥2,980 for the Full Pack and ¥1,490 single; at the measurement date an opening sale through October 31 had them at ¥1,890 and ¥990.

#8: Bandage Meh-Meh Angel / 3K@ZUKI

8,907 likes eleven days in. The outfit that pairs curled sheep horns and a bandaged leg with a white frilled dress, covered in detail as #1 in the October 12 issue. It held on in the Top 10 into its second week, sharing the motif with the bandaged outfits at #1 and #2. List price is ¥2,600 for the FULL SET and ¥1,300 single.

#9: Ohimesama! / MOMORI

4,359 likes five days in. A long, straight style down to the thighs, with fox ears and a kanzashi hairpin trailing strands of hair. MOMORI is the creator of "Kitsune-Miko," the fox shrine-maiden hairstyle that took #1 in the August 17 issue, and this one again pairs fox ears with Japanese hair ornaments.

The bangs are cut straight across, and a gold kanzashi slides sideways through the back of the head, with thin strands of hair hanging from both ends. At the back is a big ribbon with a cherry-blossom pattern; beside the bangs, a knotted cord ornament and a flower ornament; at the neck, a choker with tassels. The braids on top and the thin strands falling over the shoulders are separate parts too.

Because the ears, kanzashi and ribbon all come in one package along with the hair, it finishes a Japanese look around the head on its own. There are 40 colors, including gradients with only the tips changed and colorways with streaks of a different color.

Support covers Shinano, Milltina, Manuka, Kaguya, Mayo, Misaki and 18 avatars in all. The hair is about 39,405 polygons, the ears about 3,844, and the accessories about 38,184. At the measurement date it was ¥690 in a limited-time sale through October 25, with a ¥790 supporter edition also listed.

#10: Satin×Lace Ribbon / KuraFal

2,414 likes two days in. A satin ribbon layered with lace, with fine chains draped from a jewel at the center.

Two tiers of ribbon are edged with lace, and thin tails hang long from the knot. It comes in two shapes, a long ribbon and a short one; five shape keys adjust how wide the loops spread and how far the tails open, and the chains can be removed on their own. The tails sway with PhysBone.

The eight colors are navy, white, blue, black, wine, yellow, green and purple, and every one keeps the lace, chains and jewel. Pick the one that matches your hair or outfit, and a single piece on the head becomes the accent color of the whole look. It's 10,534 polygons with one material, for ¥450.

Category Picks (#11–#30)

The Top 10 held five outfits, two hairstyles, and one each of tool, avatar and accessory. From #11 to #30, Yumeka at #12, Leisure at #13, AMAIRO HAIR at #15, NewFit at #16, VEIL_MAT at #17, SATIN CODE at #18, DreamLop at #23, GothicBoneDress 2.0+ at #24, VRCast at #26, CANDY POP DINER at #27, Star Cigarette at #28 and Kirameki at #30 all carried over from earlier issues, so they sit this one out. Avatars, accessories and props have no new arrivals beyond the ones in the Top 10, so there are no sections for them this time.

Outfits

Sixteen of the thirty are outfits: five in the Top 10, and six carry-overs below #10. Here are two of the five new arrivals from #11 down.

The creator behind last issue's bunny set has a second one ready, released the same way.

Kindan Ryouiki's "Gekka Youki" is at #20 (1,644 likes three days after the page went up). A jiangshi-like set that pairs a round hat hung with a paper talisman and a dragon-embroidered China dress.

The long China dress, black with gold dragons and flowers embroidered on it, has a deep slit at the side. A jacket with wide-flaring cuffs is strung with large beads, and white cloth wraps the legs with talismans stuck on. There are 18 colorways, including black, white, red, blue, green and pink, and support covers 24 avatars such as Shinano, Milltina, Mayo, Airi, Kumaly and Lumina.

With "Area 01," Ace Bunny — #7 in the October 5 issue — Kindan Ryouiki also opened the product page first and announced the sales start time and a first-day-only price. This "Area 02" outfit follows the same steps. The page went up on October 16, sales start at 17:00 on October 20, and the first-day price runs until 23:59 on the 21st: ¥1,990 for the full set and ¥990 single, against a list price of ¥3,300 and ¥1,500. At the measurement date, the purchase options showed as outside the sales period.

There was also an outfit whose Japanese umbrella opens when you grab the handle and lift it.

ILE's "Yuzora - Evening Sky" is at #21 (1,501 likes three days in). A hooded, kimono-style short set paired with a Japanese umbrella that opens and closes.

A big hood sits on the wrap-front collar, a belt cinches the waist, and the hem carries Japanese floral and wave patterns. There's a thigh strap, knee socks and platform sandals with thong straps, plus a ribbon and a choker. Grab the top of the umbrella's handle and lift, and it opens; lift it all the way and press the trigger, and it stays open. The umbrella comes in two designs: black with maple leaves, and pale with cherry blossoms.

There are six colorways, and support covers 20 avatars such as Manuka, Shinano, Milltina, Kaguya, Mayo and Misaki. The product page also lines up sample photos taken by nine models. List price is ¥1,400 single and ¥3,000 for the full set; at the measurement date a sale through October 31 had them at ¥900 and ¥1,900.

Hairstyles

Four of the thirty are hairstyles. #6 and #9 are in the Top 10, and AMAIRO HAIR at #15 carries over from last issue's Top 10. That leaves one.

A bob that switches between a braid and a hairband from the menu.

Nanaha's "Sharp Edge" is at #11 (2,350 likes three days in). A bob cut level just below the chin, with a hairpin of two stacked X's.

The braid along one side and the hairband over the head are built so you display one or the other. The bangs go shorter or longer, and shape keys adjust the back length and the left and right side lengths separately. There are 26 base colors plus 13 with mask-applied accents.

It's 13,779 polygons and supports 11 avatars, including Airi, Chocolat, Mayo, Milfy, Shinano and Kaguya. At the measurement date it was ¥790 in a release sale through October 21.

Textures

Two of the thirty are textures, and VEIL_MAT at #17 was covered as #3 last issue.

Makeup that draws a small spiderweb under the eye.

Sleep Panda's "PoisonThread makeup&eyetexture" is at #19 (1,559 likes one day in). A set of makeup, eye and tongue textures made just for Milfy.

The makeup is bold eyeliner with a spiderweb drawn in fine lines under the outer corner of the eye, scattered with tiny stars and dots. The eyes have narrow slit pupils, and there are 16 colors with the eyes and tongue matched. At the measurement date the full set was being given away free for a limited time, October 18 to 21. Normally the full set is ¥500, and eye-only and makeup-only versions are ¥300 each.

Gimmicks & Tools

Four of the thirty are gimmicks and tools. Besides With Phone at #3, NewFit at #16 and VRCast at #26 carried over from earlier issues.

A tool for making an outfit change look like the clothes are melting away.

YungBurn Zakkaya's "VRC Dissolve Builder" is at #22 (2,898 likes six days in). A free Unity editor extension for building outfit changes that dissolve from one to the next.

The basic avatar outfit change is toggling clothes on and off from the menu, which swaps them in an instant. This tool takes an avatar and its outfits and generates the material variants, animations and Animator for a dissolve effect, then wires them into a Modular Avatar workflow. You can adjust the direction of the change and the scan range, and a glowing seam traces over the body as one outfit gives way to the other.

The free version and the ¥100 Coffee Support edition are exactly the same, and the source code is public on GitHub under the MIT License. The interface is in Japanese, English and Chinese, and it uses lilToon and Modular Avatar.

Seventeen of the thirty are new this issue, and nine of the thirteen carry-overs come from last issue's Top 10 (only matcap & normal_map, last issue's #9, dropped out of the thirty). From last issue's #11–#30, four held on: VRCast, GothicBoneDress 2.0+, CANDY POP DINER and Kirameki.

The only item to stay in the Top 10 is last issue's leader, Bandage Meh-Meh Angel; Yumeka, in the Top 10 for four issues since the September 21 issue, is at #12. Kirameki, #1 in that same issue, has gone #1, #8, #17, #26 and #30 — five issues running inside the thirty.

Keywords: Halloween outfits and bandages, three each

Top 20 Keywords

Frequency of VRCFinder's own keyword tags — useful for spotting trending tastes and features.

In the keyword tally across the thirty, Free (6) leads, followed by PSD Included, Inner Color, Gimmick, Sheer, Slit, Halloween Outfit, Mini Dress, Bandage and Skin Revealing at three each.

The three Halloween Outfit items are #1, #2 and #7, and the three Bandage items are #1, #2 and #8 — so four of the five outfits in the Top 10 carry one tag or the other. Ghost (#7, #14) and Jiangshi (#20, #29) each appear twice, and costumes ahead of October 31 are spread from the top of the list into the middle.

The other thread is Japanese style. KASANE at #5 layers chains over an obi and hakama, Ohimesama! at #9 has fox ears and a kanzashi, and Yuzora at #21 comes with a Japanese umbrella. Separate from the costumes, three items brought Japanese patterns and accessories into a present-day look.

Avatar support: Shinano at 19, five avatars level at 17

Top 10 Supported Models

Distribution of supported avatar models.

The most-supported avatar is Shinano at 19 items. From 23 in the September 14 issue, it has gone 21, 20, 20, 20 and 19 — six issues running as the sole leader. Next come Mayo, Manuka, Milltina, Milfy and Airi, all level at 17, then Rurune at 15, Eku at 14, and Sio and Chocolat at 13. Of the five that tied at 16 last issue, Rurune dropped back and Airi joined.

Items aimed at masculine avatars keep coming, too. Akira at #4 is an original boy avatar, and six of the 15 avatars Milk Short Hair at #6 supports are masculine.

Prices: median ¥1,090, sales ending October 31

Price Distribution

Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.

By price band, ¥1,000–1,999 is the volume zone with 12 items, followed by ¥500–999 with 7, free with 6, ¥2,000–2,999 with 3, and ¥1–499 with 2. The median is ¥1,090, up from ¥990 last issue.

The six free items are With Phone at #3, Akira at #4, Yumeka at #12, VRC Dissolve Builder at #22, DreamLop at #23 and VRCast at #26. PoisonThread at #19 was also in a limited-time free giveaway at the measurement date.

Looking at actual prices at the measurement date, sales ending on October 31 stand out. UNSEAL ME's Halloween sale at #1, KASANE's launch sale at #5, Nocturne Wisp's opening sale at #7 and Yuzora's sale at #21 all run through the 31st. Shock Bunny at #2 is half off through the 24th, then 30% off from the 25th to the 31st. All prices and sales here are as of the measurement date, and many are time-limited.

A creator's view of how things were released

The rising ranking is where "how it was put on the market" shows most strongly, alongside the appeal of the work itself. Here are four repeatable approaches from this issue's Top 30.

Points for creators:

  1. Use Halloween itself as the price line — UNSEAL ME at #1 splits its price by the date of the event: "a Halloween sale through October 31, the regular price from November 1." Shock Bunny at #2 steps from half off through the 24th to 30% off through the 31st, and Nocturne Wisp's opening sale at #7 also runs through the 31st. The sales were timed to end on Halloween, so the costume arrives in time for the night you want to wear it.
  2. Turn the character's setup straight into motion — From the setup of "a shut-in angel," Akira at #4 got moves where he games when you're AFK, reads manga, and chugs juice. Shock Bunny at #2 gives its stitches-and-bolts look a defibrillator, and pressing the paddles brings down lightning. In both, the gimmicks don't come first — they're drawn out of the character's setup. Without reading anything, you can tell from the movement what kind of character this is.
  3. Offer the same contents, with only the support amount to choose — VRC Dissolve Builder at #22 has a free version and a ¥100 Coffee Support edition with exactly the same contents. Akira at #4 offers three plans from ¥650 to ¥5,000 with the same contents as the free version, the only difference being the bonus invitation letter. With Phone at #3 puts a ¥500 server-support edition right next to the free beta. The amount you pay is chosen by how much you want to support, not by what you receive.
  4. Reuse the pattern that worked, on the next piece — Gekka Youki at #20 used the same steps as Ace Bunny before it — open the page first, announce the sales start time and the first-day price — and both made the thirty. Shock Bunny at #2 follows Devi Chord, which took #1 with a bass guitar, by again giving the outfit something to do, and Ohimesama! at #9 uses the same fox-ears-and-Japanese-ornaments pairing as Kitsune-Miko, which took #1. Releases that tell people who picked up the last piece, at a glance, that this is the same creator's next one — three of them in the same week.

Wrap-up

With October 31 less than two weeks away, costumes moved up the rising list too: the mummy at #1, the stitched bunny at #2, the ghost and wisp at #7, and the sheep angel that held on from last issue at #8. Line them up, and none of them goes all-in on scary. #1 lets you add or remove the red stains on its bandages in two levels, and you can wear it spotless white. #2 comes in six colors like green, purple and pink, and the ghost at #7 is smiling. The creators don't settle how scary the costume is — they leave how far to take it to the person wearing it. That's how I'd read this week's Halloween outfits.

If one outfit can be worn white for a night of photos with friends and stained for a trip into a horror world, a costume stops being something for a single night. Building the sale deadline around the date of the event, while putting not only the look but the level of scariness and the ways to play inside the outfit itself — behind so many likes gathering within days of release was the preparation of creators who pictured, in concrete terms, the night of the person who'd wear their Halloween.

About the Data

  • Measurement date: 2026-10-19
  • Scope: items published on Booth between 2026-07-19 and 2026-10-19 (2,550 items)
  • Ranking basis: likes ÷ days since release (releases under three days old count as three), in descending order. This is momentum, not cumulative likes, and uses the same calculation as the site's trending page
  • What "N days" means: age is calculated from VRCFinder's data collection point (the measurement date), not from what the Booth page displays. For items whose product page went up before sales began, age counts from when the page went up
  • Rankings are a rough guide: this tally moves a lot with collection timing. It isn't a contest — read it as a way to find the new releases people are watching
  • Listing condition: VRCFinder's database only collects items with 300 or more likes, so anything under that at the measurement date isn't in this tally
  • Prices in the text are the regular list prices confirmed in Booth's purchase options. Items on sale are noted as "on sale at the measurement date"
  • Note: the figures and rankings here are a snapshot from the measurement date and don't reflect later changes. "Released" refers to when the Booth product page went up
  • Giveaway terms, prices and sales are as of the measurement date. Time-limited giveaways and sales may have ended by the time you read this. Check the Booth product page for current information
