[October 12, 2026] VRChat Trending Snapshot — This Week's Fastest-Rising on Booth

Every week, this "Trending Snapshot" captures the newest Booth releases pulling in likes the fastest, ranked by how quickly those likes pile up. When something climbs this fast, there's always a reason behind it — and reading that reason from both the work itself and the way it was released is what this weekly report is for. It's written for creators, to send you home with a hint for your next project.

The October 12, 2026 issue (measured October 12) is led by an outfit that sets sheep horns and a bandaged leg against a frilled dress, at 8,785 likes four days in. Let's start there.

🔎 About this article This is a quick digest of the new releases a lot of people are watching right now. It lists items released on Booth within the last three months with 300+ likes, ordered by how fast those likes accumulate (likes ÷ days since release; measured 2026-10-12). Rankings shift a lot depending on when VRCFinder collects data, so treat them as a rough guide. Like counts, giveaways, and sales are all snapshots from the measurement date — use this as a window onto what's new and talked-about.

A video version of this report (Japanese narration)

This Week's Top 10

This is a momentum ranking — likes at the measurement date divided by days since release. It isn't ordered by total likes, so something published only days ago can sit near the top.

#1: Bandage Meh-Meh Angel / 3K@ZUKI

8,785 likes four days in. A white, big-collared dress layered with curled sheep horns and a bandage wrapped around the leg. 3K@ZUKI started selling it on October 9, the day before the three-day weekend.

The bands wound around the puffed sleeves and the bandage on the leg are both left trailing, their ends hanging loose. The tiered frilled hem has black lace, there's a frilled headdress with the curled horns, and a small fluffy tail sits at the hip. It's sweet white frills with just a touch of shadow from the bandages and black lace.

Support is kept to four avatars: Shinano, Mizuki, Rurune and Mayo, and the range goes into color instead: six colorways built on white plus seven built on black, brown, navy, purple and other dark shades, thirteen in all. The black versions change the feel of the same shape quite a bit. Take the dress sleeves off and the sheer patterned long sleeves underneath show through.

The whole set is 56,249 polygons. List price is ¥2,600 for the FULL SET and ¥1,300 single; at the measurement date a launch sale through October 17 had both at half price.

#2: AMAIRO HAIR / ssugana

6,110 likes four days in. A hairstyle with tousled, shorter layers and thin, long strands falling beside the face to below the chest.

On top of twenty solid colors there are hair masks for coloring the tips, streaks, the inner layer or one half of the head. You build the two-tone combinations yourself, so you can split the head cleanly into white and black, or put a different color on just the ends.

The shape is just as adjustable: three bang presets, and shape keys that set the back hair's length and width separately on each side. Both ahoge can be lengthened or hidden. Support covers Shuan, Manuka, Sio, Shinano, Milfy, Komano and 18 avatars in all, and the sample shots include the masculine Komano. On October 11 an update also fixed side hair clipping when looking up and the bangs sinking into the face while running. The regular edition is ¥990, and there's a ¥1,100 supporter edition with identical contents.

#3: VEIL_MAT / MUSE

5,689 likes four days in. A lilToon material that evens out the look of everything from face to outfit with a single material.

When the avatar, hair and outfit all come from different creators, their material settings all differ. Put them on one avatar and you tend to get unevenness — the skin glossier than everything else, the outfit's shadows too shallow. VEIL_MAT's idea is to even that out with one general-purpose material you can apply to any avatar or outfit, tuned to give a clear, smooth finish in bright light and keep a sense of depth in shaded scenes.

Using it is light work, too: it installs as a lilToon preset, so you just pick "VEIL" under Presets in the material settings. The sample shots use Airi, Milltina, Shinano and Chocolat. It's ¥400, and there's a ¥600 version with identical contents.

#4: NewFit / kumeku

4,584 likes three days in. A tool that refits outfits to an avatar's body using cloth physics.

To put an outfit on an avatar it doesn't support, the usual routes are conversion data prepared for each outfit-avatar pair, or shaping it by hand. NewFit simulates the outfit as cloth and settles it against the avatar's body, so it fits outfits to avatars without any conversion profile.

Fitting isn't where it stops: a grab tool lets you lift a shirt hem, roll up a sleeve or pull pants down, so you can shape a looser, worn-in look too. Stretch and thickness are set with sliders, and it repaints the weights automatically at the end, so the refitted outfit still moves with the body. Even clipping checks are handled — one button runs the avatar through a range of poses to find clipping, then builds a body-side shape key to prevent it. It works non-destructively alongside Modular Avatar and NDMF, and it's ¥2,500.

#5: DreamLop / kanatainari

3,661 likes three days in. Free hoodie pajamas with a bunny-ear hood. kanatainari made it to practice sculpting, and since it existed anyway, added color variations and a Modular Avatar setup and is giving it away.

The set pairs the hoodie with pants and slippers, and the hood comes in two versions, up and down. With the hood up, the bunny ears can droop to the sides or hang down the back, and several shape keys narrow the hood so hair doesn't poke out. Practice piece or not, the spots that cause trouble when you put it on have already been taken care of.

Support covers seven avatars: Airi, Manuka, Milfy, Rurune, Shinano, Sio and kanatainari's own original avatar, Oriefia.

#6: Leisure / FOXYPLAY

6,016 likes five days in. A chunky rib-knit cardigan slipping off the shoulders, over a fitted mini dress with thin straps. A new release from FOXYPLAY, the creator behind the popular outfit "STRYDE."

It isn't only clothes: the set runs from a jeweled headband to a small chain-strap bag and strappy heeled sandals. A heart-pendant necklace and heart-hoop earrings are included, and with lace lingerie and a garter belt under the dress, this one item takes you from head to toe.

The cardigan and dress come in ten combinations across white, black, gray, beige, pink, wine and more, and the bag in thirteen colors. A PSD and a material pack are included, so you can make your own colors from there. The whole set is 81,739 polygons, and support covers Shinano, Milltina, Manuka, Kaguya, Airi, Misaki and 23 avatars in all. List price is ¥2,380 for the Full Pack and ¥1,190 single; at the measurement date it was in a sale that began on the 12th, the last day of the long weekend, and runs through October 18.

#7: SATIN CODE / Nico25

5,659 likes five days in. A bodysuit with a diamond-shaped cutout down the front, paired with a white collar, necktie, suspenders and cuffs, the latest addition to Nico25's bodysuit collection.

Below, you choose between pants and stockings, with a chain garter on the thigh, bands around the arms, and high heels. The stockings get the most attention from the creator, offered in several levels of sheerness.

The colors split across three finishes — basic, patterned and leather — for 54 in all. Each part toggles on and off from the menu; pants and stockings, and ribbon and necktie, show one at a time, and put the stockings on and the heels change shape automatically. The whole set is 38,652 polygons, and support covers Shinano, Milltina, Kaguya, Airi, Mayo, Lumina and 20 avatars in all.

List price is ¥3,600 for the full set and ¥1,600 single; at the measurement date it was in a one-week sale through October 16. The page has also posted a schedule that steps the price back toward list over one day, one week and one month from the start of sales.

#8: Star Cigarette -Little Sky- / Harusame Zakkaten

3,176 likes three days in. A cigarette gimmick you take from a case filled with starry skies and sunsets, then light and smoke using only hand gestures.

From taking one out to finishing it, everything runs on hand shapes and movement. Make a fist near your hip and the case appears; give a thumbs-up and the lid opens. Bring the tip of the cigarette to the star-shaped ignition port on the side of the case and it lights; lift it to your mouth for a puff, and a moment later smoke with stars in it drifts up. Tap it lightly and the ash falls like stardust, and putting it back in the case turns it into a fresh one.

Two people who both own the gimmick can share a light by touching the lit tip to an unlit one. Hold a set hand sign with both hands for three seconds and the cigarette flies off as a shooting star. The case comes in eight designs, including starry sky, sunset, aurora, moonlight and dawn, and the glow stands out in the dark. If you talk with it in your mouth, it moves with your voice, and everything can be operated from the menu, so it works on desktop too. It's 11,004 polygons, and list price is ¥1,200 (¥900 in a sale through October 13 at the measurement date).

#9: matcap & normal_map / 2doo

2,279 likes three days in. A set of matcap and normal map for skin, given away for free. 2doo made it a while back and posted it after people asked for it.

The sample image shows the belly, with shading in the dip of the navel and the gentle contours of the abdomen, topped with glossy highlights. A mask comes with the matcap and normal map, and the page notes that it's free to use. There's also a ¥300 support version.

#10: Yumeka / Arka_X

23,288 likes 33 days in. The free original avatar I covered at #2 in the September 21 issue — in the Top 10 for four issues running.

Category Picks (#11–#30)

The Top 10 covered outfits, a hairstyle, textures, a tool, a prop and an avatar, and #11 through #30 hold more new arrivals. VRCast at #14, GothicBoneDress 2.0+ at #15, Ace Bunny at #17, Tocolo at #18, MY Half Twin at #21, CANDY POP DINER at #22, Simple Bob Hair at #23, Mesh Mellow at #24, Kirameki at #26 and Dragon Enchant at #28 all carried over from earlier issues, so they sit this one out. There's no Gimmicks & Tools section this time, since all three below #10 are carry-overs, and every texture, prop and avatar in the thirty is already in the Top 10.

Outfits

Fourteen of the thirty are outfits, four of them already covered in the Top 10. From the five new ones below #10, I'm taking three that do something interesting with who can wear them.

One outfit made the thirty only a day after release.

Lueur Pastel's "Seravelle Weave" is #19 (1,515 likes, one day in). A fantasy-ethnic outfit inspired by the embroidery and weaving of a far-off land.

A gold-trimmed, embroidered capelet fastens with a tasseled clasp over an embroidered vest and a white blouse with full sleeves, and a long embroidered panel hangs from a wide sash. Below are loose pants gathered at the ankle and lace-up sandals. Official support covers only two avatars, the masculine Rei and Hanka, but bonus prefabs roughly fitted to eight more (including Bokusei, Alué, Komano, Minase and Suzuya) are included, and putting it on unlisted avatars with fitting tools or by hand is explicitly allowed. It was an outfit left half-finished, completed after people said they wanted to wear it. There are ten colors in all, switchable through a Modular Avatar material feature. List price is ¥500; at the measurement date it was free for the first 24 hours after release (the free version has four colors), with an all-color supporter version at ¥480.

There was also a set that goes on feminine and masculine avatars in the same shape.

milkyHack's "WonderCat" is #25 (2,407 likes, five days in). A Wonderland-themed set pairing a rose-trimmed top hat with a tailcoat that drapes a harlequin-diamond cape over one shoulder.

A ruffled cravat sits at the chest and lace-up tall boots finish the look, and there's also a lighter style with a blouse, vest and shorts.

The whole thing is built to hide much of the base body so a feminine silhouette doesn't show through. Support runs to 25 avatars — from feminine models like Shinano, Milltina and Mayo, to masculine ones like Komano, Minase, Alué, Hanka and Nakiya, down to Mamehinata and Kipfel. There are twelve colorways, a few of them splattered with red stains. A gimmick with a wooden door marked "Wonderland" is included, and Full Pack owners get future avatar additions as free downloads. List price is ¥3,000 for the Full Pack and ¥1,500 single; at the measurement date it was in a sale through October 23.

For the feet, boots being given away for the creator's own birthday.

Nekkoya's "Noir Tartan Boots" is #13 (1,914 likes, two days in). Lace-up platform boots with the cuff folded down to show tartan.

The thick heeled soles have a jagged tread. The base comes in black, beige and gray-white, and five more colors add argyle or black-and-white check to the cuff. From October 10 to 17, the base colors are free to celebrate the birthday, with a ¥300 version that adds the extra colors.

Support covers fifteen avatars — Manuka, Shinano, Milltina, Eku and Yumeka, along with Kuuta and the shared base bodies SiroinoSotai and +Head — and for avatars not on the list, the page explains how to attach them to the leg bones with Modular Avatar.

Hairstyles

Seven of the thirty are hairstyles; AMAIRO HAIR at #2 is in the Top 10, and #21 and #23 carried over from last issue's Top 10. I'm taking three of the four new ones (Half Twin Bob at #16 comes up in the trends section).

First, a hairstyle shaped just like its name, with the ends flipping out above the ears.

UzUshop's "Flapjack Octopus Hair" (Mendako Hair) is #12 (4,725 likes, seven days in). A set that gives away three hairstyles — Mendako, Fluffy Bob and Smart Wolf — together for free.

The title style, Mendako Hair, flips its ends outward on both sides at about ear height. The other two head in different directions: Fluffy Bob is a short, rounded bob with a white ribbon, and Smart Wolf is a wolf cut that leaves the nape long. One set swings from cute to clean-cut. Support covers three avatars — Shinano, Mao and Chocolat — and the giveaway has no set end date; it's up to the creator's mood.

There's a hairstyle for Halloween edits, too.

Zenmai's "Chibi Akuma Bob" is #11 (2,155 likes, three days in). A Halloween bob inspired by a little devil.

A short bob with straight-cut bangs has small bunches tied high on each side, topped with bat-wing hair clips, and an X-shaped pin sits at the temple. The little-devil look comes from the hair alone, without adding any costume pieces. On top of fifteen colors there's a gradient version, and you can set any color you like. Support covers 15 avatars including Airi, Chocolat, Ichigo, Kipfel, Lumina and Manuka, and it's ¥650. Colliders are not set up.

And one that deals in advance with the usual trouble of very long hair.

COMESHOP's "SuperLongHair" is #20 (1,803 likes, four days in). Straight hair long enough to reach the floor and spread out across it.

Hair this long tends to run into clothing or lose its shape near the floor. So there are ten shape keys, covering things like hiding the inner hair, shortening the bangs or parting them to the right, and moving the back and side hair out of the way of clothing. For when the head gets close to the floor, the floor collision can also be switched off from the menu.

It comes in twelve colors at 75,543 polygons, with support for Anomea, Shinano, Milltina, Manuka, Milfy, Rurune, Moe and Sio, plus COMESHOP's own two avatars. List price is ¥1,300 for the FullPack and ¥900 per avatar; at the measurement date it was in a three-day-weekend sale through October 12.

Accessories

One of the thirty is an accessory.

x虎's "DropGlass" is #30 (2,204 likes, five days in). Rimless glasses whose lenses look like they're melting and dripping.

The lower edge of each lens hangs down in drips, and the charm on the temple — a ring, stars and a droplet — swings as your head moves. Five color textures and a PSD are included, and you can adjust the tones to any color you like. It's designed to fit any avatar once you adjust the size, and the page notes that it suits the coming Halloween edits too. It's 14,466 polygons at ¥400.

The pool here is the Top 30 risers — items published within three months of the measurement date, ranked by momentum (the same thirty the site's trending page shows). Here's what that group looks like from the inside.

Nineteen of the thirty are new this issue, and nineteen were published within the past week. Nine of the Top 10 changed hands; the other eight from last issue's Top 10 now sit between #15 and #28 (Shuwa_Fuwa, last issue's #9, dropped out of the thirty). VRCast, #30 last time, climbed to #14.

The Top 10 splits into four outfits and two textures, with one each of hairstyle, tool, prop and avatar — and this is the first time two textures have sat in the Top 10 together. VEIL_MAT at #3 also passes the eye texture that reached #6 in the September 14 issue, making it the highest-ranked texture in the series so far.

Keywords: six free items, and all three tools are non-destructive

Top 20 Keywords

Frequency of VRCFinder's own keyword tags — useful for spotting trending tastes and features.

In the keyword tally across the thirty, free leads with six, followed by NDMF, PSD included, editor extension, color variant and non-destructive at three each.

NDMF, editor extension and non-destructive all belong to the same three items: NewFit at #4, Tocolo at #18 and Mesh Mellow at #24. Tocolo and Mesh Mellow, which lined up last issue as tools for making things fit, were joined by NewFit, which fits outfits to the body with cloth physics — and all three leave the original data untouched.

Among hairstyles, "bob" and "half twin" each appeared twice. Chibi Akuma Bob at #11, from the Hairstyles section, and Half Twin Bob at #16 share the same shape: a short bob with small bunches tied on each side and X-shaped pins. Half Twin Bob is 4o4o's hairstyle, with 23 colorways across solid and two-tone options and shape keys that move everything down to the direction of the tied bunches and each individual pin. Alongside them sit MY Half Twin at #21 and Simple Bob Hair at #23, both carried over from last issue.

Avatar support: Shinano at 20, five avatars level at 16

Top 10 Supported Models

Distribution of supported avatar models.

Shinano draws the most support declarations at 20. From 23 in the September 14 issue to 21, 20, 20 and now 20, that's five issues running alone at the top. Behind it, Mayo, Manuka, Milltina, Milfy and Rurune are level at 16, followed by Airi at 15, Sio and Chocolat at 13, and Lumina at 12. Kaguya, at 17 last issue, came in at 9 this time.

While the top of the list is this even, Bandage Meh-Meh Angel at #1 keeps its support to four avatars. Items aimed at masculine avatars stood out too. Seravelle Weave at #19, from the Outfits section, is officially made for the masculine Rei and Hanka, and its sample shots are all masculine models; WonderCat at #25 also includes masculine models like Komano, Minase, Alué, Hanka and Nakiya. AMAIRO HAIR at #2 counts Komano among its 18 avatars as well.

Prices: eleven in the ¥1,000s, sales built around the long weekend

Price Distribution

Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.

Eleven items sit in the ¥1,000–1,999 band, eight in ¥500–999, six are free, three fall in ¥2,000–2,999, and two in ¥1–499. The median is ¥990, down from ¥1,100 last issue.

The six free items are DreamLop at #5, matcap & normal_map at #9, Yumeka at #10, Flapjack Octopus Hair at #12, Noir Tartan Boots at #13 and VRCast at #14. On top of those, Seravelle Weave at #19 was in its 24-hour free window at the measurement date.

Looking at what was actually charged at the measurement date, this issue stands out for sales built around the three-day weekend starting October 10. SuperLongHair at #20 ran its sale for the three days of the weekend, Floral_Embrace at #29 from October 10 to 13, and Star Cigarette at #8 through the 13th, while Leisure at #6 started its sale on the 12th, the last day of the weekend. Bandage Meh-Meh Angel at #1 is at half price in a launch sale through October 17, SATIN CODE at #7 sits at its one-week price through the 16th, and WonderCat at #25 runs a sale through the 23rd. Prices and sales here are all from the measurement date, and most are time-limited.

A creator's view of how things were released

A trending ranking reflects how something was brought to market as much as the work itself. Here are four repeatable patterns from this week's thirty.

Notes for creators:

  1. Line up new releases the day before a long weekend — nine of the thirty went live on Friday, October 9, right before a three-day weekend, and six of the Top 10 — #1, #3, #4, #5, #8 and #9 — came out that day. SATIN CODE at #7 also set its sales start at 14:00 on the same October 9. Many sales were timed to the holiday, too, and SuperLongHair at #20 even put "three-day weekend sale" in its product name. It was a week when new releases gathered at the start of a break, when people have time to sit down and edit.
  2. Polish something that had been sitting unfinished, and put it out — matcap & normal_map at #9 is something the creator made a while back and posted on request. DreamLop at #5 began as a sculpting-practice outfit, then gained color variations and a Modular Avatar setup and went out for free. Seravelle Weave at #19 was a half-finished outfit, completed after people said they wanted to wear it. All three note on the page why they decided to put it out. Something half-made sitting on your drive may have people waiting for it to be finished.
  3. Write down a path for people outside the support list — Noir Tartan Boots at #13 explains how to attach them to an unlisted avatar's leg bones, and DropGlass at #30 is built to fit any avatar once the size is adjusted. Seravelle Weave at #19 explicitly allows wearing it on unlisted avatars and even adds bonus prefabs. NewFit at #4 goes further still: it's a tool for fitting outfits to the body without conversion data. When there's a written path you can try even if your avatar isn't on the list, it's much easier to reach for.
  4. Build in something that reacts between owners — with Star Cigarette at #8, two people who both own the gimmick can share a light by touching their tips together. Like the gimmick at #4 in the September 21 issue, where the person being tapped reacts back, it's a mechanism that doesn't finish with one person — it only moves when someone else is there. Together with sending the cigarette off as a shooting star, it's built for the time you spend in the same place as someone else.

Wrap-up

Laying this issue's thirty side by side, what stood out was how much had been taken care of on the item's side, even beyond the support list. When you buy an outfit for VRChat, the first thing you check is whether your avatar is on the list. If it isn't, you either look for something else or fit it yourself. NewFit at #4 takes on that "fit it yourself" with cloth physics. The boots at #13 and the glasses at #30 put the steps or the build for unlisted avatars right on their pages from the start. A support list is a promise about which avatars it's sure to work on, not a line saying nothing else can wear it — and several items in the same week let you read it that way.

Bandage Meh-Meh Angel at #1 went the other direction, keeping support to four avatars and putting the range into thirteen colorways instead. Spread across more avatars, or across more ways to wear one outfit: opposite choices, and both reached the top within days of release. Week after week, in slightly different shapes, the thirty show creators each deciding for themselves who they're making something for, and how far it should reach.

About the Data

  • Measurement date: 2026-10-12
  • Scope: items published on Booth between 2026-07-12 and 2026-10-12 (2,529 items)
  • Ranking basis: likes ÷ days since release (releases under three days old count as three), in descending order. This is momentum, not cumulative likes, and uses the same calculation as the site's trending page
  • What "N days" means: age is calculated from VRCFinder's data collection point (the measurement date), not from what the Booth page displays. For items whose page was taken down and republished, age counts from the republishing date (the like count is the page's running total)
  • Rankings are a rough guide: this tally moves a lot with collection timing. It isn't a contest — read it as a way to find the new releases people are watching
  • Listing condition: VRCFinder's database only collects items with 300 or more likes, so anything under that at the measurement date isn't in this tally
  • Prices in the text are the regular list prices confirmed in Booth's purchase options. Items on sale are noted as "on sale at the measurement date"
  • Note: the figures and rankings here are a snapshot from the measurement date and don't reflect later changes. "Released" refers to when the Booth product page went up
  • Giveaway terms, prices and sales are as of the measurement date. Time-limited giveaways and sales may have ended by the time you read this. Check the Booth product page for current information
