About This Site

What VRCFinder Can Do

Booth is full of wonderful outfits and accessories — so many that finding the one that fits your needs can be overwhelming. VRCFinder analyzes each collected product and adds supplementary information, so you can search intuitively by mood and attributes even when the right keyword doesn't come to mind.

What Data Is Used?

The product data listed here is collected periodically from publicly available information on Booth. It is not real-time data, so please always check the Booth page for the latest price and availability before purchasing. To keep the analysis accurate, collection is limited to the following conditions:

Original tags and keywords are generated from each product's title, description and thumbnails, then refined and optimized by hand to improve search accuracy.

Data collection stays within the scope of public information, following Booth's guidelines and their scraping policy revision. Booth lists "applications that collect public information for original search and recommendation features" as a welcomed use case, and VRCFinder operates in line with this policy.

Data Update Schedule

Data updates happen on an irregular basis. The current product count and last collection date are shown below, and also on the top page.

Feature tags and keywords are analyzed per product, and the analysis date is shown as "Last analyzed" on each product detail page.

Why Only Products with 300+ Likes?

Collection is limited to products published since 2022 with 300 or more likes at collection time. There are four main reasons I don't cover every product.

Minimizing Load on Booth

Narrowing the scope greatly reduces the number of requests needed for collection, so the site never places unnecessary strain on Booth's servers.

Stable Regular Updates

VRCFinder applies its own classification and tagging to every product. Analyzing the entire catalog would take enormous processing time and make regular updates impractical.

Sufficient Coverage

Products with 300+ likes already cover roughly half of Booth's VRChat category — plenty of data for meaningful trends and statistics.

Booth Is Best for New Releases

If you want to catch brand-new products the moment they're published, browsing Booth's VRChat category directly is the most reliable way. VRCFinder focuses on helping you efficiently find products that match your criteria from a large catalog.

About the Statistics Page

Based on the collected data, VRCFinder offers statistics pages covering category popularity, price distribution, publication trends and more — useful for avatar customization, and just as useful for creators doing market research.

Statistics are original aggregations based only on products meeting the collection criteria above (published since 2022, 300+ likes), and do not accurately represent Booth as a whole. Please treat them as reference material.
