[September 14, 2026] VRChat Trending Snapshot — This Week's Fastest-Rising on Booth

Every week, this "Trending Snapshot" captures the newest Booth releases pulling in likes the fastest, ranked by how quickly those likes pile up. When something climbs this fast, there's always a reason behind it — and reading that reason from both the work itself and the way it was released is what this weekly report is for. It's written for creators, to send you home with a hint for your next project.

The September 14, 2026 issue (measured September 14) is led by a maid outfit finished with dragon horns and a scaled tail, with a dedicated hairstyle included. Three days after release, it had 4,372 likes. Let's start there.

🔎 About this article This is a quick digest of the new releases a lot of people are watching right now. It lists items released on Booth within the last three months with 300+ likes, ordered by how fast those likes accumulate (likes ÷ days since release; measured 2026-09-14). Rankings shift a lot depending on when VRCFinder collects data, so treat them as a rough guide. Like counts, giveaways, and sales are all snapshots from the measurement date — use this as a window onto what's new and talked-about.

This Week's Top 10

This ranking divides each item's like count at measurement time by the days since release, so it reads as momentum rather than cumulative popularity. Something released days ago can outrank an older item with far more likes.

#1: Scaled Maid / CYCR

4,372 likes in three days. A maid outfit with silver embroidery running down a long apron, finished with dragon horns and a long scaled tail. A new release from CYCR (Cyber Critter) — the creator behind the popular outfit "Agent D."

Delivering the hairstyle alongside the clothes is how this series works. A white headdress sits on the head with a thin metal ring floating above it, belts wrap the waist several times over, and a chain and pocket watch hang from them. The apron is embroidered with a cross and an open book, and the hem of the skirt carries a cathedral with rows of spires — the world of the outfit runs all the way into the fabric pattern.

A candelabrum lit with a pale blue flame comes with it. That candelabrum and the pocket watch were also cut out under the name "Turn-Down Service," which sat at #16 as a free item at measurement time (covered in the prop picks below).

The outfit runs △186,321 triangles, the hair △38,691. Physics bones are set at 47 for the outfit and 17 for the hair, and a PSD for texture editing is included. Twenty avatars are supported — Shinano, Milltina, Manuka, Mayo, Airi, Kaguya and others. List prices are ¥1,600 for a single avatar, ¥2,900 for the full outfit set, ¥800 for the hair alone and ¥3,400 for everything together; a launch sale running through September 19 was active at measurement time. A dedicated preview world in VRChat lets you try the fit before buying.

#2: Asterielm / MELTY:Ri

6,130 likes in five days. A campus-street set built from a long jacket that flares wide at the hem, a plaid mini skirt and lace-up tights. A new release from MELTY:Ri — the creator behind the popular outfit "Klorfi."

The set splits into twelve parts, running from the clothing itself out to the halo overhead and the pair of wings at the back. The whole thing comes to △32,613 triangles, with the jacket accounting for △11,628 of that.

What stands out most is that the outfit ships without a fixed color scheme. The page says as much — there's no set coordinate, so mix the colors as you like — and the jacket, T-shirt, frills, leather, bottoms, wings, metal parts and tights each carry a dozen or more materials. Thirteen configured prefabs are included, so you can start from a sample and recolor from there.

The setup work is detailed too. MA Floor Adjuster is built into the shoes to reconcile height differences at the feet, and a Mesh Shape Changer on the jacket automatically tapers the T-shirt sleeves underneath when the jacket is shown. List prices are ¥1,400 for a single avatar and ¥2,500 for the full set, with a launch sale through the morning of September 20 active at measurement time.

#3: Ignore Real Colliders on VR Headsets / U5D

3,480 likes in three days. A tool that gets your hand to your avatar's face in VR. Released by U5D.

Reach up to touch your avatar's cheek in VR and your controller hits the headset first. As long as there's hardware in front of your face, the arm can't go any further. This tool bends only the arm you can see, carrying that hand up to the face while the real controller stops short of the headset.

The second half is the fingers. It finds them automatically from the Humanoid rig, adds a PhysBone to each joint, and curves them along the shape of whatever part of the face they touch. Because it only adds a difference on top, hand signs stay intact. The face collider starts as a single capsule generated at the press of a button, leaving you to adjust size and position.

The limits are written out just as plainly. Only the visuals change — picking up a pen or pressing a button still happens at the real hand's position. It can't run alongside pose tools that reposition the arms, and it's VR-only, with no Quest or mobile support. Set up the shared collider from the tool and two people who have both enabled it can touch each other's faces. ¥500.

#4: Elegant Bob Hair / Koganenchi

2,965 likes in three days. A bob styled with curls that wrap around the cheeks and thick, blunt-cut bangs. Released by Mimela Kogane under the shop name Koganenchi.

The ends are rolled vertically strand by strand, so the silhouette stays round along the jawline. A ribbon sits at the side, and the bangs run straight across above the eyebrows. The page suggests it for dresses and classical one-pieces alike, and that reads true: there's sweetness in it, but the posture stays upright.

The blend shapes work on two axes — width and length — letting you spread or narrow the sides and extend or shorten the ends. That's enough to tune how the hair sits around different face shapes without leaving the same style. The shades run from gold and pink through lavender, navy and red, into teal and green, and on to white, grey and black.

It comes to △27,264, and twelve avatars are supported, including Shinano, Manuka, Marycia, Kipfel, Milltina and Shiratsume. Six of the twelve were added the day after release. ¥800.

#5: WonderAlice / milkyHack

4,162 likes in five days. A blue pinafore dress with puffed sleeves, cut as the Alice of the storybook. Released by milkyHack.

A black ribbon ties at the chest, and a pocket watch and a key with a "Drink Me" tag swing from the waist. A spade sits on the apron, all four suits run around the hem, and a large bow wraps the back. Striped tights and strapped shoes finish it — the whole set looks lifted straight off a face card.

Alongside blue, black and pale blue, three blood-splattered variants are included, with dark red staining the apron and sleeves. The same silhouette shifts into a different scene of the story. The page notes that this treatment was cleared in advance with Mochiyama Kingyo, who makes Mamehinata, and with Kuji, who makes Lapwing.

The apron can be removed to wear the dress alone, and eight configured prefabs ship. It runs △99,477 with five materials. Eighteen avatars are supported, including Milltina, Shinano, Mayo, Airi, Mamehinata and Sayori, and buyers of the full pack receive future additions at no charge. List prices are ¥1,000 for a single avatar and ¥2,000 for the full pack, with a sale through September 25 active at measurement time.

#6: Eye texture Chérie / lovable

4,068 likes in five days. An eye texture given away as thanks for reaching ten thousand followers on Booth. Released by lovable.

Chérie is taken from the French word for someone dear, and the design layers fine light over a translucent iris. Eleven colors ship: black, blue, mint, milk brown, pink, violet, white and more.

The thoughtful touch on the product page is that it shows the eyes under both day and night lighting, side by side. Eye textures read very differently depending on a world's brightness, and those two panels let you picture how they'll look in the places you actually go. An emission mask is included as well, so changing the glow color pulls a different mood out of the same texture.

Nineteen avatars are supported — Shinano, Milltina, Airi, Kaguya, Mayo, Kumaly, Chocolat, Milfy, Manuka, Alué and others — with Ricoris listed as planned. The giveaway runs for two weeks through September 23, and the page states up front that it will sit at ¥500 afterwards. It also carries a line about wanting to give something that stays in the collection rather than a free item that disappears when the window closes — a gift built to remain on sale once the giving is done.

#7: Side Tail Hair for Yumeka / Osatou Koubou

2,521 likes in three days. A side tail gathered and swept over one shoulder, given away free for the avatar Yumeka. Released by Osatou Koubou.

It began as a hairstyle distributed for Rurune and was rebuilt as a Yumeka-compatible version. A black ribbon ties the gathering point, and the bound strands fall forward over the shoulder.

The intent behind the physics is stated clearly: the sway is tuned on the stiff side so the shape holds through hard dancing. There are 115 PhysBone transforms, and it responds to head pats. It runs ▲55,528 with six materials and 34 bones. The textures are packed for size, landing at 6.83MB of VRAM and a 1.81MB download.

Five shades ship, switched by importing a color package on top of the base one. Setup needs lilToon and Modular Avatar, plus Avatar Menu Creator for Modular Avatar to build the menu. It's free, with no end date given for the giveaway.

#8: 8 PM Tailored with Warmth / 9mm'F

2,430 likes in three days. A relaxed bra top and shorts with a towel over the shoulder, cut as if fresh out of the bath. Released as the first outfit from 9mm'F.

The aim is spelled out on the page: the silhouette when worn, the way it moves, and the charm of an unguarded moment. It's built for the kind of scene you want to photograph.

Along with the top and shorts, a towel and an ankle bracelet are included, and all of it together comes to △11,996. Colors spread across two sheets, from black, white, pale blue, pink and grey through to wine and navy.

Nine avatars are supported — Shinano, Manuka, Milltina, Rurune, Mayo, Milfy, Eku, Chiffon and Misaki — set up with Modular Avatar. It was built in Unity 2022.3.22f1, and since material variants are used for the color swaps, the page notes that older Unity versions aren't guaranteed to work. Free.

#9: ZERO ACTIVE Sailor / MIRAGE

4,524 likes in six days. A sailor uniform kept in shape but broken toward street styling with an oversized jacket and layers of belts. Released by MIRAGE.

The jacket hangs loose with sleeves well past the hands, worn over a cropped sailor top and pleated skirt. Belts wrap the waist several times, an ID card hangs at the chest, and a band sits high on the thigh. A cat-eared cap tops it off, with a spiked ring floating above.

The accessories are split out to a fine degree — twenty-one meshes in all, down to the gum, the cheek band and a black cat plush hanging from the leg. It totals ▲136,890 with seven materials, grouped by UV into the jacket, choker and hat, shirt and skirt, innerwear, belts, small items, and the ring. Black and red anchors the palette, with pink, green, pale blue, purple, navy and beige alongside.

Twenty-one avatars are supported, including Airi, Chocolat, Kaguya, Manuka, Mao and SiuSiu. The product page opened on September 8, with sales starting September 10 at 15:00. List prices are ¥1,800 for a single avatar and ¥3,990 for the full set, with a sale through 23:59 on September 17 active at measurement time.

#10: Wan-Nyan Hoodie / ♡Penipeni♡

2,068 likes in two days. An oversized hoodie printed with a dog and a cat, cut to work on masculine and feminine builds alike. Released by ♡Penipeni♡.

The hood is large and the shoulders and sleeves hang loose. Two types split by print placement — one across the front, one across the back. Dog ears, cat ears and a long tail are included, and the tail can be toggled off from the menu.

How the samples are arranged says everything about the design: almost every photo on the page is a pair. Masculine and feminine avatars stand side by side in different colorways of the same hoodie, which makes the matching-outfit idea land immediately.

Twenty-two avatars are supported across fourteen feminine and eight masculine, with Minase, Komano, Kanata and Kuuta among the latter. List prices are ¥1,200 for a single avatar, ¥3,700 for the feminine set, ¥2,900 for the masculine set and ¥4,000 for everything; a sale through September 16 was active at measurement time.

Category Picks (#11–#30)

The Top 10 covered outfits, hair, textures and tools, but there are plenty of new faces between #11 and #30. Project Zero NO.20 at #17, Bewitching Midaris at #18, Marette at #19, Late Morning at #23 and Stellar Kitty Hair at #28 all carried over from earlier issues, so they sit this one out.

Outfits

Eighteen of the thirty risers are outfits, six of them already covered in the Top 10. From #11 down, here are two that picture very different wearers.

First, one built to go over other clothes.

APOAPO's "Long Cape Coat" is #13 (1,873 likes in one day). A plaid cape coat falling wide from the shoulders, paired with a ribbed high-neck top and a wrap skirt. It's the newest item in the Top 30, reaching this position the day after release.

A large hood folds against the back of the coat, giving the rear view some depth. Blend shapes adjust the sleeve width, and the page suggests using that to layer the coat over other outfits — with a note that it won't necessarily fit everything. It comes to △21,372 total, split between △7,876 for the coat and △13,496 for the inner and skirt. A prefab for setting the outer and lining colors separately is included, and the color sheets run from plain fabrics through plaids, florals and lace. Three avatars are supported: Lapwing, Shinano and Alué. List price is ¥1,400, with a launch sale bringing it to ¥1,000 through September 20 at measurement time.

Next, the other side of service.

Hoshizora Koubou's "Apprentice Butler" is #30 (1,275 likes in two days). A white shirt with the sleeves rolled and a black waistcoat over it — formal, but not stiff.

The paid version adds a monocle, chained across to an ear cuff with a blue stone hanging from it. Wearing it or leaving it off is the difference between an apprentice's freshness and something more composed. The suit runs ▲186,000 and the monocle ▲12,000. Nine avatars are supported: Latte, Ruty, KALNE, Alué, Lapwing, Kaguya, Rurune, Shinano and SiuSiu. List prices are ¥1,300 for the standard version and ¥1,500 for the supporter version, with a sale through 23:59 on September 19 active at measurement time. Alongside that, the suit for Latte and Ruty alone was being given away free through 23:59 on September 15.

Hair

Hairstyles account for four of the thirty, down from eight last issue. Stellar Kitty Hair at #28 was covered before, so here's the new face.

MOMORI's "Nemu_Hair" is #11 (3,579 likes in five days). A voluminous long style layered all the way to the ends, with cat ears and a long tail.

What sets it apart is how finely the parts are split: the back hair comes in both a short and a long version. Two sets of bangs, three side pieces, two tail strands, an ahoge and two ear shapes round it out, and a pair of round glasses plus three small accessories — a cross, a piercing and a star — ship alongside. The hair runs roughly 29,205 triangles, the ears and tail 9,788, and the accessories 36,470. Colors span three sheets, from pale silvers and whites through reds, navies and purples into two-tone blends. Nineteen avatars are supported — Shinano, Plum, Chocolat, Milltina, Manuka, Milfy, Eku, Airi, Rurune, Shinra and others — with a PSD for texture editing. It sat at ¥690 through September 20 at measurement time, with a ¥790 supporter version alongside.

Textures

Two of the thirty are textures, and both are eyes. Chérie at #6 appeared in the Top 10, so here's the other.

Fuzzy Lily.'s "Stellaris" is #22 (1,627 likes in three days). An eye texture layered with iridescent glitter that shifts color with the viewing angle, given away to mark one thousand followers on Booth.

Thirty colors ship, packed across five rows from blacks and navies through teal, purple, red and gold. A dedicated material for showing off the iridescence is included, and copying its emission settings onto your own face material reproduces the same shimmer. Eleven avatars are supported: Shinano, Sio, Mayo, Marycia, Milltina, Rurune, Kaguya, Eku, Chocolat, Miriam and Misaki. The free window runs through September 19, after which it moves to ¥500 for the full set and ¥250 for a single color through September 26, then ¥700 and ¥300 from there — the whole path back is laid out in advance.

Gimmicks & Tools

Two of the thirty are gimmicks and tools. The face-reach tool at #3 was covered in the Top 10, so here's the other.

raming's "MingToon" is #14 (4,567 likes in eight days). A toon shader for characters, distributed free as an open beta at measurement time.

How an avatar reads owes more to where its shadows fall than to its colors. This shader separates form shadows from cast shadows and lets you tune each on its own. Ease off the former and the face keeps its flatness; push the latter and the shadow your bangs throw onto your forehead sharpens up.

The range of effects on top is broad: inner outlines drawn inside the silhouette, backlit rim light, screen-tone patterns laid into shadows, and ambient occlusion. Settings come in simple, detailed and batch modes, and pressing Bake writes out a lighter material carrying only the features you actually used. The UI runs in Japanese, English and Korean, and there's a screen for sorting texture resolutions in bulk. The current beta is for non-commercial evaluation, with commercial licensing planned for a later stage.

Props

One of the thirty is a prop — the candelabrum cut out of Scaled Maid at #1.

CYCR (Cyber Critter)'s "Turn-Down Service" is #16 (1,901 likes in three days). A candelabrum holding a pale blue flame, together with an engraved pocket watch, built for photography.

Fine engraving runs across the dish, with an S-curved handle at the side. The pocket watch carries an iridescent face under its lid and a crest on the outside. Both are parts bundled with Scaled Maid at #1, and this listing gave away one colorway on its own for three days. The page also states that once the window closes, the same prop remains available as part of the bundle on the #1 listing — the destination written out in advance.

Accessories

One of the thirty is an accessory.

MioNya♡'s "Nyako Glasses" is #29 (1,539 likes in four days). A free pair of glasses with cat ears on the frame and whiskers at the outer edges of the lenses.

Two shapes ship — one squared at the top and rounded below, one rounded throughout. Twelve material colors are included: black, white and grey alongside pink, pale blue, lavender, soft green and cream. A pre-fitted prefab is provided for Milfy, and it's MioNya♡'s first 3D model.

Avatars

Two of the thirty are avatars, and Bewitching Midaris at #18 has appeared before. The other hadn't gone on sale yet at measurement time.

VISION TOKYO's "Yuri" is #25 (1,553 likes in three days). A masculine avatar with silver hair and sharp eyes. He shares a base body with BLUESTELLA's Kanata, which means outfits built for Kanata fit him directly.

There are 537 facial blend shapes, plus 61 on the body. The base body runs △54,316 and △190,487 with clothing. The body tuning is what stands out: blend shapes are assigned per muscle group, so you can sculpt anywhere between a broad, muscular build and a slim one. Plenty of shrink shapes are provided for clipping, and the base body data and PSD files are included. Anyone making skin, makeup or eye textures to sell is permitted to redistribute the texture data. List price is ¥6,000, with a launch sale at ¥5,000 announced for September 17 through October 17. At measurement time the purchase options still read as outside the sales period, with only the page open.

Twenty-five of the thirty are new entries this issue, and twenty-three were released within the past week. All ten of the Top 10 turned over, with nothing carrying across from last issue's top ten. Counting across all thirty, it's the biggest reshuffle since the series began with the July 6 issue.

Keywords: seven free items, two of them given as thanks

Top 20 Keywords

Frequency of VRCFinder's own keyword tags — useful for spotting trending tastes and features.

Free tops the keyword tally at seven items, up from three last issue. PSD Included follows at four, plaid and lace-up at three each, then Mochifitter-compatible, eye texture, editor extension, oversized and loungewear at two apiece.

Those seven free items are free for entirely different reasons. Chérie at #6 and Stellaris at #22 are both eye textures given away at a follower milestone — ten thousand for lovable, one thousand for Fuzzy Lily. Both set a window and both stated the price they'd carry afterwards. Turn-Down Service at #16 is a candelabrum cut out of the #1 outfit, and the side tail at #7 was rebuilt for a single avatar as a show of support. MingToon at #14 is an open beta for evaluation, the outfit at #8 is 9mm'F's first release, and Nyako Glasses at #29 is MioNya♡'s first 3D model.

Thanks, a doorway, support, evaluation, and an introduction. Not one of them arrived at free by discounting — each put the reason somewhere else entirely.

Supported avatars: Shinano back on top alone at twenty-three

Top 10 Supported Models

Distribution of supported avatar models.

Shinano leads with twenty-three. In the September 7 issue, Shinano, Mayo, Manuka and Milfy were tied at eighteen; this issue Shinano pulls clear alone. Milltina and Rurune follow at twenty-one, Milfy at twenty, Mayo, Chocolat and Manuka at nineteen, Airi and Kaguya at seventeen, and Eku at sixteen.

Kaguya, released on Booth in July, has climbed to seventeen — eleven in the August 10 issue, twelve in the August 17 issue, thirteen on August 31 and fifteen on September 7, gaining ground every issue.

At the same time, several items in the same thirty aimed outside that group. The Wan-Nyan Hoodie at #10 covers twenty-two avatars, eight of them masculine: Minase, Komano, Hanka, Kanata, Kuuta, Nakiya, Suzuya and +Head. Apprentice Butler in the outfit picks targets Latte, Ruty and KALNE, and Yuri in the avatar picks was built on Kanata's shared base. The side tail at #7 goes furthest of all — rebuilt for a single avatar, Yumeka.

Prices: seven free items, thirteen in the ¥1,000s

Price Distribution

Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.

Thirteen items fall in the ¥1,000–1,999 band, seven are free, six sit at ¥500–999, two at ¥5,000 or above, one at ¥2,000–2,999 and one at ¥1–499. The median is ¥1,095.

Both items above ¥5,000 are avatars: Bewitching Midaris at #18 for ¥10,000 and Yuri at #25 for ¥5,000. Nothing sits in the ¥3,000–4,999 band at all, leaving a wide gap between avatars and everything else.

Looking at the prices actually charged at measurement time, launch sales stacked up this week. Scaled Maid ran through September 19, Asterielm through the morning of September 20, ZERO ACTIVE Sailor through September 17, the Wan-Nyan Hoodie through September 16, and Long Cape Coat through September 20. Each covers a window of one to two weeks from release, with the end date stated from the start. All prices and sales here are as of the measurement date, and most are time-limited.

A creator's view of how these were released

A trending ranking reflects not just the appeal of the work, but how it was brought to market. Here are four repeatable moves from this issue's Top 30.

Creator takeaways:

  1. Turn a follower milestone into a reason to give — Chérie at #6 marks ten thousand followers, Stellaris at #22 marks one thousand. Both hand over an eye texture as thanks, and both state the window and the price that follows it upfront. Chérie is free through September 23, then ¥500; Stellaris is free through September 19, ¥500 through the 26th, and ¥700 after that — three steps laid out in advance. Recipients know the deadline, and anyone buying later can see how the price was set.
  2. Put one piece of the whole next to it — the candelabrum and pocket watch bundled with Scaled Maid at #1 were given away on their own for three days as Turn-Down Service at #16. The page carries a link to where the prop lives once the window closes, so anyone who picks it up free lands on the main listing. CYCR ran the same shape when they cut a sword out of an outfit in the August 31 issue; this time it lifted two slots fifteen places apart at once.
  3. Keep the free-versus-paid difference to a single item — Apprentice Butler at #30 draws the line at the monocle, with the supporter version adding a lantern on top. When there's exactly one difference, someone who tried the free version knows precisely what they'd be buying.
  4. Pick who it's for and build for them — the side tail at #7 is a free release for one avatar, Yumeka, and the Wan-Nyan Hoodie at #10 is designed around pairs, covering eight masculine builds. Both run against the instinct to widen compatibility, but they land squarely with the people using those avatars. That nearly every sample shot of the hoodie is a two-person photo is the same idea stated visually.

Closing

What stood out this issue is that the seven free items each had a completely different reason for being free. Two eye textures given as thanks for hitting a follower count. One candelabrum cut out of an outfit to serve as a doorway to it. One hairstyle rebuilt to support a single avatar. One shader still in evaluation. And two first releases — an outfit and a pair of glasses, each the first thing its maker put into the world. Not one of them landed at free by working down from a price.

The eye texture at #6 carries a line about wanting to give something that stays in the collection rather than a free item that vanishes when the window closes. Writing down how long the giving lasts, and what it will cost afterwards, is a straight answer to both the people receiving it and the people who buy it later. The question of how to hand over what you've made drew a whole set of different answers in the same week.

  • What "days since release" means: it's counted from VRCFinder's data collection point (the measurement date), not from what Booth's page displays
  • Rankings are a rough guide: this tally moves a lot depending on collection timing. It isn't meant to pit items against each other — read it as a window onto the new releases drawing attention right now
  • Inclusion: VRCFinder's database only collects items with 300 or more likes, so anything below that threshold at measurement time isn't in this tally
  • Prices in the text are the standard list prices confirmed in Booth's purchase options. Items on sale are noted as such at measurement time
  • Note: the figures and rankings here are a snapshot from the measurement date and don't reflect later changes, so current numbers may differ. "Released" refers to when the Booth product page went live
  • Giveaways, prices and sales are as of the measurement date. Time-limited giveaways and sales may already have ended by the time you read this. Check the Booth product page for current information before purchasing
