This is a one-article archive of the VRChat "autumn" items published on Booth across 2024 — 143 of them, as tagged by VRCFinder's own aggregation. From that pool I picked 54, sorted into knitwear, outerwear, school, classical, Japanese dress, accessories, forest, menswear, worlds, and props & sound. It isn't a straight ranking: the goal is to be a seedbed for your "what should I make this autumn?", so each category covers the proven staples alongside the ideas that made me sit up.

At the top of it all is a dusk walk home: a dropped-shoulder knit cardigan over a sailor collar, with a checked pleated skirt (17,248 likes). Let's start with the shape of 2024 as a whole, then open the drawers one by one.

Autumn 2024, the Big Picture

By garment type, knit leads at 45, followed by boots at 35 and sweaters at 23. What swimsuits are to summer, knitwear is to autumn. Skirts, blouses and one-pieces all sit level at 21, which tells you the category is built around having something to throw on top.

By taste, casual leads with 63, then classical at 40 and polished at 39, and underneath them sit two distinct clusters: school at 18 and Japanese style at 17. Numerically it's everyday wear that carries the season, with uniforms and kimono adding the strong color. That's the terrain of autumn 2024 — now for what's in it.

Knitwear — the Main Battlefield

The knit/sweater family counts 47 items, roughly 30% of the 143. The weave itself reads as "autumn arrived," so supply is thickest here. Line up the top performers and the silhouette answer is already settled — muted colors, oversized — which means the real differences show up in how much room the piece leaves you.

Loose, in muted colors

Drop the shoulder, let the sleeve run long. The top knits of 2024 barely differ on silhouette.

EveningGlow / ALICE

An oversized cardigan in a wool-blend knit, built into a full coordinate. A piece by ALICE, the creator behind the popular outfit "EverAfter". Under it sits a frill-collared sleeveless shirt, then shorts, a chained thigh belt, socks with boots, and a hairpin.

The nine colorways run from khaki, charcoal, brown, wine and navy through to white and light gray — every one of them desaturated into autumn. Total polygons come to △48,909, with an editing PSD included.

The sales structure has a hook too: buy the full pack and any future avatar additions download straight into it. Support currently covers 21 avatars including Shinano, Manuka, Selestia, Moe, Airi and Kaguya, and the update log is full of small fixes — sleeve texture flicker, shoulder weights, and so on. ¥1,500 for a single avatar, ¥3,900 for the full pack.

Fall for You / ALICE

A mohair-blend knit turned into a one-piece dress. Another piece by ALICE, this one pairing an oversized body with two ribbons tied at the shoulders, so the delicate line and the volume sit side by side.

The set is the knit itself, left and right ribbons, a beret, boots and ribbon leg accessories, totalling △29,690 — the two shoulder ribbons ship as separate parts. The palette — gray, khaki, wine and black plus a white family — is tuned to a park floor covered in fallen leaves.

Solving the side effects of "loose"

A loose knit brings its own problems — hem length, and what shows underneath. Two pieces in 2024 solved them head-on.

下着を見せない！秋風ルーズ / ぽた屋

A one-piece loose knit whose hem is closed underneath so nothing shows. The product name says exactly that, and the body is oversized with generous sleeves, carrying a loose illustration across the chest.

The clever part is that it's a choice, not a rule: swap the material and it opens back up, and there's a shape key that flares the hem. Add shape keys that narrow the arms and tighten the neck for layering, and this one knit works as the base you build up from. Materials come in black, white, gray and a plain version, with an editing PSD.

Support covers Manuka, Chiffon, Rurune, Shinano, DELTAFLAIR, Emmelie, HAOLAN, Binah, Moe and Mafuyu — 10 avatars. ¥1,000 single, ¥2,500 full set.

アカデミアニット #AcademiaKnit / #あいかわらぼ

A short cardigan dress in a chunky knit, cut like a uniform. A piece by #あいかわらぼ /AikawaLabo, the creator behind the popular outfit "strayKingCat", paired with a ribbon tie and necktie, thigh-high socks and loafers.

Because the hem sits short, the legs are on show — so a dedicated mesh that adds volume to the thighs ships with it. You drop your own body material onto that part, so it picks up the avatar's own skin tone. Colors run to seven, including beige, gray, black, cream and lavender.

Breadth of support is the other weapon here: 44 avatars, led by Kikyo, Manuka, Moe, Selestia, Shinano, Kipfel, Mafuyu and Rurune. ¥1,500 single, ¥4,000 full pack.

Two free front doors

Five of the 143 were free. Two of them are knits, and they're both here.

BaebaeKnit / Dollit

A big knit with lacing down the front, given away for free. The product page opens with a note — thanking people for loving Dollit's clothes, and giving something back — written in both Korean and Japanese.

The set runs to the frill-hemmed knit itself, a frill-collar necklace, a laced backpack, shorts and a hair ribbon. Beyond the Unitypackage there's FBX, PNG, PSD and the materials, with seven color Prefabs ready from the start. That's an unusually open thing to hand out for nothing.

Support covers Manuka, Kikyo, Selestia and Moe.

Legwarmers / Corner.22

Slouchy rib-knit leg warmers, released free as a thank-you for the response to the creator's first asset. Five colors: white, gray, light gray, black and dark olive.

The careful part is the fit: several shape keys are included specifically to match different shoes — push up, tilt back, widen the opening — so they sit right against everything from platforms to loafers. Assembly is built around Modular Avatar, and the textures ship uncompressed with an explicit invitation to repaint them.

Support covers Shinra, Selestia, Lasyusha, Kikyo and Manuka.

Layering Up — Coats and Outerwear

Coats and jackets count 33. This is the category that decides what goes over the knit, and it's where the 60%-plus overlap between autumn and winter shows most clearly. In 2024 it split three ways: something light to throw on, city real-clothes, and leather that works on any body.

One layer that changes everything

First, two pieces that change the season by being draped over whatever you already wear.

Shawl / NookNook

A fringed shawl you simply drape over the shoulders, sold on its own. A piece by NookNook〈ﾇｰｸﾇｯｸ〉, the creator behind the popular outfit "WiccaMaid", built as a single mesh at 2,714 polygons.

What it gives up in weight it makes back in range: 23 colorways, from plain cream, red, mint and black through lace, tie-dye, tartan and floral, plus a later spider-web pack for Halloween. Ten shape keys control the drape — loose or snug, pulled forward or back, sleeve slack, fringe length — and you change them on the spot.

Support covers Kipfel, Lapwing, Marycia and Shinano, and the page walks through fitting it to unsupported avatars via Modular Avatar's Setup Outfit. ¥800.

Heritage_Chic / cherry neru

An off-shoulder double-breasted coat dress. A piece by cherry neru, the creator behind the popular outfit "Evening_Primrose_F.W", and billed as "2024 F/W" — the season between autumn and winter taken as the theme itself.

Underneath sits a sleeveless white shirt with a corset, black shorts below, thigh-high boots, and a beret on top. The coat runs long over bare shoulders, so only the legs read. Colorways number in the teens, split roughly evenly between checks and solids — beige, gray check, wine check, quilted navy.

There's body-side support too: a hip mask image ships with it for anti-clipping, to be applied to the body material when shape keys can't keep up with sharp movement. Support covers Shinano, Airi, Manuka, Moe, Selestia, Shinra, Kikyo, Sio and Chiffon — nine avatars. ¥750 single, ¥1,400 full set.

Wearing the city's autumn

The route that takes real autumn clothes straight into 3D. It was a thick lane in 2024, with two consecutive releases from one shop.

テーラードジャケットコーデ / Natelier

A checked tailored jacket with matching shorts, sold as a set-up. Natelier -ﾅﾄﾘｴ- released it as part of an "Autumn Collection", with a white ribbed turtleneck underneath, socks and platform loafers, and a logo pin at the chest.

Both the jacket and the pin come off, leaving a lighter turtleneck-and-shorts look. There are six colorways — brown check, beige, dark brown, gray, white and wine — and the boots and socks shift color to match each one.

Polygons come to △54,650 across two materials and eight meshes, with a PhysBone on the necklace. Support covers Shinra, Shinano, Airi, Manuka, Kikyo, Chiffon, Lime, Chocolat, Lasyusha and Sio — 10 avatars. ¥1,800 single, ¥4,800 full pack.

トレンチコートコーデ / Natelier

A belted trench worn over a hoodie and denim. Another Natelier piece, built more for the street: high-waist jeans rolled at the cuff, finished with pumps.

The set is trench, hoodie, denim jeans, pumps, earrings and a bangle. Drop the coat and you're left with the hoodie and jeans, which makes it a natural indoor/outdoor switch. Seven colorways — beige, brown, gray, black, pink, light pink, light blue — with the pumps following along.

Polygons come to △86,139 across three materials and six meshes. Support covers Shinra, Shinano, Airi, Manuka, Kikyo, Lasyusha and Sio. ¥1,800 single, ¥4,500 full pack.

Mocha mode / HINO shop

A bustier layered over a shirt, with flared cropped trousers and pumps. A piece by HINO shop, where the wide-sleeved shirt and the bustier together draw a vertical line through the upper body.

The palette is split down the middle: seven materials for the bustier and shirt, seven more for the trousers and pumps, so you mix your own combination. Per-part polygons run shirt ≈9,000, bustier ≈1,300, trousers ≈4,000 and pumps ≈2,000, for roughly 16,300 in total — the lightest full outfit in this article.

Support for editing is unusually generous: a separate download provides 4096×4096 PSDs, with UVs, base color, shading, gloss and normals split onto their own layers, which makes repainting just the pattern straightforward. Support covers 18 avatars including Shinano, Manuka, Airi, Shinra, Kipfel, Chiffon, Lime, Moe, Selestia and Kikyo. ¥1,400 single, ¥3,500 full set.

Leather that works on any body

The last piece here sells its support model as the feature.

Leather Hooded Jacket / flow4ge

A hooded leather jacket at the centre of a full coordinate. A piece by flow4ge, bundling the outer, a turtleneck inner, bottoms, loafers and a necklace.

Material count is the freedom here: 12 outer, 2 inner, 20 bottoms and 5 loafer materials. The trousers swing from checked slacks to plain, which changes the whole read of the same jacket.

The support model is the interesting part. Rather than rebuilding per avatar, it ships one FBX with "semi-support" Prefabs adjusted in Unity for 29 bodies. Hiding the body underneath is automated too: a separate Prefab with MA Shape Changer set up, dropped under the avatar, removes the covered meshes for you. Alongside Shinra, Shinano, Airi and Manuka you'll find masculine bodies like Minase, Komano and 墨惺, which makes this a genuinely unisex piece. An editing PSD is included. ¥2,700.

Autumn at School

Eighteen items came back tagged "school". New term and seasonal wardrobe change land together, so uniforms are native ground for autumn. In 2024 the winners split between pieces built around a time of day, pieces pushed toward British trad, and pieces that change into something else entirely.

Dressing for the walk home

The year's number one comes from here.

CREPSCOLO / mirukuru

The top item of all 143 autumn releases in 2024, built around the walk home. mirukuru released it to mark the shop's opening, naming it after a word for dusk and twilight, and adding a line to the page: how about taking the long way home at sunset?

It's a sailor collar with a large ribbon, worn under a dropped-shoulder knit cardigan, with a checked pleated skirt, a beret trailing a long ribbon at the back, ribboned socks and platform strap shoes. A rabbit plush clipped to the cardigan pocket is broken out as its own mesh.

Meshes come to loafers △7,600, socks △11,000, tops △44,000 and the rabbit △5,600, for △69,000 in total across three material slots. Support covers Shinano, Airi, Manuka, Shinra, Moe, Kikyo, Chiffon, Lime, Sio, Kipfel and Mamehinata — 11 avatars. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,600 full pack.

Autumn School Uniform / Hamppo-factory

A cable-knit vest over a blouse, as a full autumn uniform. A piece by Hamppo-factory, bundling the vest, blouse, checked pleated skirt, socks and loafers — and both a ribbon and a necktie.

Those two pieces carry the range: soften it with the ribbon, sharpen it with the tie. Take the vest off and you're back to blouse and skirt for early autumn, so one set spans both sides of the wardrobe change. Colorways include beige, purple, brown, black, gray, wine, pink and gray-blue.

British trad and academia

Taking the uniform outside the school gates. 2024 produced two answers: trad, and a magic academy.

British_Classic / cherry neru

A puff-sleeve blouse under a gold-buttoned pinafore, finished with a regimental tie. A piece by cherry neru, the creator behind the popular outfit "Lottie" — the same shop as Heritage_Chic in the outerwear chapter.

A beret, ribboned thigh-highs and strap shoes complete it, in wine, black, navy, gray and check. The presentation is done as magazine covers, one per supported avatar.

The extra hook is a separate texture product, linked at the very top of the page: the shape stays, the fabric swaps. Support covers Shinano, Manuka, Moe, Shinra, Selestia, Kikyo, Sio, Chiffon and Airi — nine avatars. ¥750 single, ¥1,400 full set.

Leviosa Dress / EDEN Oasis

A uniform built on a magic-academy theme. EDEN Oasis released it explicitly as part of their "2024 FW season", with a large checked bow tie at the front and an oversized black outer thrown over the top.

Below sits a frill-hemmed pinafore, with leg warmers and loafers, and a pom-pom beret. The shoulder bag carries another pom-pom, and feather motifs run through as accents. It comes in two colorways — black and cream — with a matching beret for each.

The piece supports Modular Avatar, and the update log records an added earring Prefab, chest weight fixes, and later support for Sio, Lime, Chiffon and Kikyo. Support covers Shinano, Manuka, Airi, Selestia, Moe, Kipfel, Sio, Lime and Chiffon — nine avatars. ¥1,500 single, ¥3,200 full pack.

Sailor collars, and two looks in one

セーラー服&カーディガン / rabishop

A uniform set pairing a sailor suit with a cardigan. A piece by rabishop, made by hino, covering the sailor suit, cardigan, socks and loafers.

Color is the strength: 24 combinations for the sailor suit and skirt, seven cardigan colors and twelve loafer colors. Textures and materials are shared across every avatar, so the same combination carries over when you switch bodies. Shape keys cover chest size, hiding parts under the cardigan, skirt length and three sock lengths.

One design decision is stated plainly on the page: the chest is built smaller than the base body and kept roughly equal across avatars, because the uniform's silhouette came first. Polygons come to △31,079. Support covers Shinra, Kikyo, Manuka, Shinano, Lime, Lapwing, Velle and the MARUBODY family — 10 characters. ¥1,300 single, ¥3,000 full set.

ステラ・ルミエール / 白猫通りのナギ亭

A uniform-style set with constellations that surface and glow. A piece by 白猫通りのナギ亭, built by a split team: なぎちゃん on the model and setup, ろき on design and texture, ゆづきあおい on the logo and gimmick.

The glow is the centrepiece: constellations rise slowly across the top and skirt, and small stars light at the tips of the sailor collar and the beret's ribbon. The structural trick is the outer — take the oversized layer off and you're in a crisp sleeveless top. Glow at night, strip back when it's warm.

Ten Prefabs ship pre-configured with colorways, and the gems and metal can be recolored in Unity. The glow and the outer toggle from the menu, with instructions for removing the components if you'd rather not have them. Requests for unsupported avatars are open, with the fee published on the page (avatar cost plus ¥5,000, dropping to ¥2,500 from a repeat customer's third request). Support has reached 37 avatars. ¥1,600 single, ¥2,800 full set.

Old Books and Classical — the Thinking Autumn

Classical taste covers 40 items, second only to casual, and it's autumn's other main axis. In 2024 this zone filled with concrete motifs: books and quills, detectives, literary girls. The Japanese phrase for "autumn is for reading" turned straight into outfit briefs.

Dressed for the library

Three pieces shot against libraries and studies.

ARIETTA / mirukuru

A round-collar, puff-sleeve one-piece set for autumn. A piece by mirukuru — the same shop as CREPSCOLO in the school chapter — labelled on the page as an "AUTUMN ONEPIECE SET", with a line about listening to the sound of fallen leaves in the first cold wind.

Buttons and frills draw a vertical line down the front, and the hem breaks into two tiers. A pocket shaped like a large bow sits at the waist, and a rabbit charm hangs from it. The same rabbit hangs from a heart-shaped shoulder bag, so the motif repeats top and bottom. Platform strap shoes with ribbons, thigh-highs and a beret complete it, in cream, black, pink and light blue.

Seven meshes split out — one-piece △38,000, heels △24,000, bag △20,000, beret △10,000 and the rest — for △114,000 in total across four material slots. Support covers Shinano, Airi, Manuka, Shinra, Moe, Kikyo, Chiffon, Lime, Sio, Mizuki and Rurune — 11 avatars. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,600 full pack.

小さな物書き (Little Writer) / CYCR

An owl-and-quill outfit for a writer. A piece by CYCR (Cyber Critter), the creator behind the popular outfit "Midnight Fox 2.0", built from a brown cable-knit cardigan with owl brooches, an argyle vest, a checked pinafore, a feathered beret and round glasses.

The layering is designed to be taken apart: cardigan on or off, vest on or off, or a bolero over the top, laid out across four consecutive diagrams on the page. Argyle over-knee socks and feather-trimmed boots are included. Four colorways: brown, red check, navy and wine.

The bundle is unusually open — the Unitypackage contains the Blender files themselves, alongside PSD and PNG textures, so reshaping the garment is on the table. Support covers 12 avatars. ¥1,600 single, ¥3,100 full pack.

ライブラリガーデン / Cloudz☁

An outfit whose shoulder-slung book can be taken in hand and opened. A piece by Cloudz☁ for smaller avatars, opening with a line in the voice of the wearer: today I made it to the big library in town on my own — maybe I grew up a little?

The look is a sailor-collar long dress over a white frilled underskirt, with a beret and a leather book strap. And drop in the Modular Avatar Prefab alongside it and the book you're carrying like a bag lifts into your hand and opens. The spreads inside are illustrated — seas, mountains, flowers.

Installation needs Modular Avatar, and Unity 2022 only. Seven colorways: navy, red, blue, pink, black, purple and white. Support centres on small bodies like Suzuhana, Minahoshi, Kuguma-no-Rue, Usasaki, Mamehinata and Kipfel, with Cloudz☁'s own LiddiCoat added later. ¥1,600.

Detectives and literary girls

Same classical ground, but entered through a character's role.

セツレイスルース / ふぇざーしーぷ

A detective-themed set with three layers to choose from. A piece by ふぇざーしーぷ, bundling a long coat, a cardigan and a shirt so you can shift with the season.

What makes it work is a dress-up menu: pick what goes on top and the layering shrink underneath applies itself. Coat on means cardigan and shirt shrink; cardigan on means upper arm and elbow shrink. No hunting for shape keys by hand.

A cross-stitched casquette, a black ribbon tie, a belt and lace-up boots complete it, with 11 colors on a single material slot. Polygons come to △54,912. Support covers 21 avatars centred on Moe, Manuka, Kikyo, Shinano and Selestia, including four MARUBODY bodies. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,500 for every avatar.

FALL IN BOOK,FALL IN LOVE / TATSUYA

A wide-sleeved haori dropped into modern casual wear. A piece by TATSUYA@VRChat Shop, with a ribbed long skirt cinched by a wide corset belt, setta sandals below, a beret, round glasses and a book.

Take the haori off and the mood changes — you're left with a knit top and long skirt, and the Japanese elements recede. Six colorways: green, navy, gray, brown, purple and black. The book comes in two designs, and the sandals have their own variants.

Polygons come to △73,509. The page states up front that the corset limits the chest shape key to 50 on most avatars. Support covers 33 avatars. ¥1,400 single, ¥2,800 full pack.

The Japanese Autumn — Osmanthus, Spider Lilies, Maple

Seventeen items came back tagged Japanese style — roughly level with school, but the motifs here are far more specific. Osmanthus, red spider lilies, maple: autumn's flowers and leaves named directly in the products. The price range is wide too, from a few hundred yen of accessories up to kimono that ship with a parasol and a blade.

金木犀アクセサリー / meron-farm

A seven-piece accessory set scattered with osmanthus blossoms. A piece by meron-farm: two rings, four earrings, and a pair of glasses with osmanthus blooming along the frame.

Small orange and white flowers sit against green leaves with a single crystal dropped in, and every part stays compact. Positioning is set up against Kikyo, so other avatars need a nudge. It uses lilToon alongside the UnlitWF shader.

At ¥150, it's the smallest possible way to add autumn to whatever you're already wearing.

Lycoris amaryllis / #MochiRabbit

A set of metal accessories shaped as red spider lilies. A piece by #MochiRabbit /もちうさぎ, covering a halo, a ring, an eyepatch, earrings and a floating ornament.

The halo drifts and rotates on an animation, and a later update added petals scattering as a particle effect when the floating piece moves. Shape keys on parts like the eyepatch let you fine-tune the fit around the face. Colors centre on red with black, blue, gold and white — a palette tuned for Japanese-dress edits.

Polygon counts run high — halo △61,300, earrings △67,300 for the pair, eyepatch △30,000 — and the page flags this explicitly. It's built against Manuka, but scale and position adjustments fit it to any avatar. ¥1,400.

Walking autumn in Japanese dress

The wearing side. In 2024, short kimono with gimmicks took the top spots.

和装 -月兎- / TUMEKIRIYA

A Japanese-cyberpunk kimono that ships with a parasol and a blade. A piece by TUMEKIRIYA（つめきり屋）: a short kimono carrying large florals and waves, a head covering, and two original weapons.

The parasol is named for an eclipse and carries a moon and rabbit on the outside with an eclipse design underneath. The blade mounts at the elbow in a reverse grip, and an animation switches it to a normal hand hold, with a trail-effect version selectable from the menu. The head covering and parasol toggle from the same place.

Seven colorways ship per avatar, and the full pack contains 98 Prefabs in total. The release date was chosen for the harvest moon, and the page explains the concept: moving lightly, like a rabbit on the moon at a sixth of Earth's gravity. Support covers 14 avatars including Manuka, Selestia, Shinra, Lime, Rurune, Shinano, Kikyo and Moe. ¥1,400 single, ¥2,000 full pack.

明星暁月 / 餅亭

Gold leaf layered over maple patterns, in a shinobi-leaning kimono. A piece by 餅亭, the creator behind the popular outfit "シュガーワンピ", whose page opens with a flat statement: autumn means Japanese dress.

Mesh under-sleeves and thigh-highs, gold bells hung from the obi, platform zori at the feet — and a maple particle effect ships with it. Three color families: red-gold, blue-purple and black, with ten materials and ten textures.

This one was also planned as a three-way collaboration across shops, with Syall's Atelier's shuriken (covered in the props chapter) and めのうすとあ's particle effect. Outfit, weapon and effect released in parallel from three different shops, each pointing at the others from their own page. もちづき built the outfit, 神無月瑪瑙 handled the particles and helped with avatar support, and 此花ゆうな shot the cover. Support covers 28 avatars. ¥1,600 single, ¥3,000 full set.

色葉&粉雪&花綿ロリィタドレス / 琴うみ製作所

A lolita dress with a colorway for each season. A piece by 琴うみ製作所, designed by みやすず, built around four families named for autumn leaves, powder snow and cotton flowers.

Installation is remarkably simple: drop the Prefab named for your avatar directly under it, and the hair ornament, the back ornament and the particles all come with it. No separate Prefab for the hair accessory. The particles change with the season, and the autumn version sends leaves drifting.

Breadth of support is this piece's signature: 96 avatars, listed in Japanese syllabic order, with notes added for shared bodies ("this one should fit too"). There's a fitting world you can visit. Taking the maple with you

もみじヘイロー / だまこや

A maple branch shaped into a halo. A piece by だまこや, the creator behind the popular accessory "Beginner's Set", where the branch and leaves sway and drift loose.

There's a second half at your feet: move, and maple leaves lift from the ground behind you. Autumn arrives from above and below at once. And a ginkgo version in the same construction ships alongside it, so you can switch between red and yellow.

It supports Modular Avatar, installs easily, and toggles from the expression menu. The shop's showroom world lets you look at it in person before buying. ¥400.

Accessories — Autumn at the Neck and Fingertips

Accessories count 19, mostly in the few-hundred-yen range: the zone for adding autumn without changing your outfit. Berets alone appear on 21 items — close behind hats at 24 — which tells you exactly where autumn's shorthand lives.

The neck and head are where a drop in temperature reads first.

冬支度マフラー / #POTATOTO

A fringed scarf that wins on sheer color count. A piece by #POTATOTO, offering 32 colorways plus 13 fur variants — six pink tartans, six blue tartans, ten plain pastels and ten gradients.

The core of the build is adjustability: 25 shape keys reshape the wrap to sit right across different chest sizes and poses. And a small, thoughtful touch — the woven tag's lettering can be swapped easily. Fitting notes and editing tips live in a linked write-up, right down to what to do when the inside of the scarf shows in VRChat.

Total polygons come to 4,220, on one material with a 1K main texture. A later update added a HeadChop component so the scarf disappears from your own view (removable if you'd rather see it). ¥600.

fluffy mimi beret / ametestore

A beret worn at an angle, with one animal ear spilling out of it. A piece by ametestore, where the fluffy brim wraps around the back and merges with the hat itself — an unusual shape.

A crisp beret body is broken down and paired with a fur ear and a rear ribbon. Six Prefabs cover the ribbon-and-ear combinations — full set, no ribbon, no ear. Polygons run △5,982 for the set, △3,270 without the ribbon and △4,877 without the ear.

Color is handled cleverly: the ribbon and the outer and inner ear ship as separate textures built for lilToon's second main color, so you mix nine colors into your own combination. Positioning is pre-adjusted for Grus, Kuuta, Shinra and Kipfel, with rough-fit Prefabs for Lapwing, Fluctua and Luve. ¥500.

Apple Pie Beret / おもちやさん

A freshly baked apple pie turned into a beret. A piece by おもちやさん, with lattice pastry, cream and a cherry on top, a gingham ribbon and three hairpins.

The tactile trick comes first: the cream and the cherry stretch when you pull them, with the cherry stretching further. Nine shape keys handle the fit — width across three axes, tilt, and how much the pie domes.

The real headline is a five-shop particle tie-in. Set your hand sign to Open and put your hands together — or high-five someone wearing another item from the same project — and that shop's own particles rain down. Different items meeting each other produce a different effect. The five participating pieces are this beret, plus items from くれこのさんD, #POTATOTO, 1058mart and テーラーひいろ. The gimmick crosses shop boundaries by design.

The FBX comes to roughly △17,000, with bonus chocolate and custard colorways. ¥500.

Fingertips, and the face

Small surfaces, so the motif has to carry.

HiganbanaNail2 / An-Labo

Red spider lilies blooming in a bleed of ink and watercolor, on nail chips. A piece by An-Labo, the creator behind the popular accessory "HoroNail", built on Minuet_Doll's shared nail-chip base "MDollnail".

Because it sits on a shared base, the avatar reach is wide, and this product alone contains the 3D model, the textures and the pre-configured materials. Six colors — red, blue, white, gray, purple and pink — across natural, oval, point and square shapes, plus a foot set. Polygons run △1,320–2,112 for both hands and △1,560 for the feet.

The surrounding infrastructure is solid too: a search page called NailLab for checking your avatar's compatibility, an installation tool, and an FAQ. Avatar creators can request support directly. ¥400.

Tweed Nail / First Palette

Tweed weave brought to the fingertips. A piece by First Palette, positioned as a nail set that works with autumn and winter real clothes.

The fun part is the distribution: each finger carries a different pattern. Against the tweed ground, one finger gets scattered pearls, another a heart, another stays plain. Nine colors: black, blue, gray, purple, beige, green, white, pink and yellow.

Editing is a stated goal — the materials are arranged to be easy to adjust inside Unity, and a PSD is included. Modular Avatar compatibility is confirmed. Support covers Lime, Chiffon, Karin, Manuka, Lunalitt, Shinano, Kikyo, Lapwing, Ciel and Riruru — 10 avatars. ¥500, ¥1,200 for the full set.

dry flower make up texture / sisen

A makeup texture tuned for autumn. A piece by sisen, made for Shinano, bundling lashes and eye makeup, lips and a skin tone into four variants: Warm, Warm Light, Cool and Cool Light.

It's delivered as PSD and PNG source, and a MatCap plus its mask ship with it — switch that on and the eyes catch a gloss highlight, with a sheen on the lips as well. The makeup is quiet and low-saturation, and the page states up front that it suits more mature-looking faces.

Installing it needs Photoshop or CLIP STUDIO: assemble the layers, export to PNG, bring it into Unity. Pushing the lower-lash shape key to 100 is recommended. ¥400.

Forest and Harvest

Autumn's other face is woodland and harvest — fallen leaves, mushrooms, pumpkins, a witch's basket. The chapter is small, but 2024 gave it a distinct character: most of it was built for smaller avatars.

Living in the woods

Three pieces that make you a resident of the forest.

Forest Fairy / marumaru

A one-piece coordinate for small avatars, themed on a forest fairy. A piece by marumaru, built for the MameFriends family of bodies.

A white pleated dress over a turtleneck, with a relaxed cardigan thrown on top. A small shoulder bag carries a mushroom charm. Six colorways — green, brown, a brown gradient, purple and more — with one of them running orange-to-yellow and swapping in a pumpkin charm. White socks and black loafers finish it.

It expects a project with Modular Avatar installed, and the body's shoulders and arms are hidden with shape keys. It's tuned against Mamehinata and Kipfel, and fits the other bodies on the shared MameFriends base. ¥1,000.

森うさぎおーばーおーる / かぷちやのぶーす

A knit-and-overall coordinate that works as either a skirt or shorts. A piece by かぷちやのぶーす, the creator behind the popular outfit "Re:うさぎさんるーむうぇあ", introduced as an overall skirt paired with a knit sweater for autumn.

Both the pinafore skirt and the shorts are in the box, and they share the same knit and boots. A beret with rabbit ears and fur-trimmed lace-up boots come with it. The colorways pair plain and checked versions of brown, red, pink, navy, light blue, black and white, with hat and boot colors following along.

Total polygons come to roughly 96,356, on one material and eight textures. Editing PSD and CLIP files ship with it, along with Modular Avatar-configured Prefabs. The support model is interesting too: requests for unsupported avatars are taken through a commission service, and all support runs through a Discord server. The build team ran to しあ on modelling and ぷも on texture and design, plus four avatar-support contributors and a tester photo session. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,500 full set.

きのこの着ぐるみ / Eichi's Variety Store

A kigurumi that turns you into a red-capped mushroom. A piece by Eichi's Variety Store (えいちの雑貨店), opening with the logic laid bare: autumn means mushrooms, mushrooms mean kigurumi. It's built for Kipfel, with just the face peeking out from under the cap.

Two gimmicks come with it: mushrooms sprout wherever you walk, and you can emit a spore particle — either continuously or only when someone pats you. Pattern and texture combine across spotted, plain and plush, times seams on or off, for eight variations in total.

Polygons come to △10,380, and a recolor mask is pre-configured so lilToon's color adjustment alone changes the cap. The genuinely helpful part is a free fitting version containing only the Prefab, stripped of materials and gimmicks, so you can check whether it works on a body other than Kipfel before buying. The full item is ¥500.

Harvest festival, and dressing up

The season of the harvest, and the season of costumes.

Pain de mie Harvest Witch / すーぽっぷまーと

A harvest witch set: hat, broom and pumpkin bag. A piece by すーぽっぷまーと, designed by 春野ほたる, built for Kipfel.

The witch hat's brim carries a vine of leaves and a small pumpkin, and it comes with a broom tied with a purple ribbon and a bag with a jack-o'-lantern face. PhysBones are configured on the broom and the hat, so both sway as you move. Two colorways are shown with an apron dress, and the page notes up front that the dress underneath comes from a separate product by the same shop or from the complete set.

Putting an oversized witch hat on a small body is the whole charm, and it builds a harvest-festival scene in one go. ¥600, ¥1,800 for the complete set.

オオーン (Wolf?) / CYCR

A disguise built from a cardboard wolf head. Another piece by CYCR (Cyber Critter) — the same shop as Little Writer in the classical chapter — whose entire product description is a pair of animal noises. A wolf in sheep's clothing, rendered literally.

The head, the front paws and the tail are all built in taped-and-stickered cardboard, over street clothes: a yellow raincoat, a crop top with "wolf" scrawled on it, paw-print shorts and chunky sneakers. The coat comes in yellow, blue, red, green, white, pink and a cow print, among others.

The bundle follows the same policy as their other release: the Unitypackage contains Blender files, with PSD and PNG textures alongside. Support covers 11 avatars. ¥1,600 single, ¥3,100 full pack.

Menswear and Real Clothes

Autumn is also when supply for men moves. And there's a second story in this chapter, specific to 2024: three real-world brands released autumn-winter lines for VRChat.

Autumn pieces for men

Three pieces built for masculine bodies.

Enchant Bloke / LAYON

A track jacket at the centre of two separate sets — one women's, one men's. LAYON released it as a "2024 Autumn Collection", with both sets inside a single product.

The women's set is jacket, bustier, tiered frill skirt, two necklaces, two pairs of socks and shoes; the men's is jacket, pullover, trousers, necklace and shoes. The outer and the men's trousers come in two fabrics — velour for autumn and jersey for year-round. Colorways run white, black, navy, mint and pink.

Total polygons come to △48,295 for the women's set and △46,378 for the men's. Support covers Shinra, Shinano, Airi, Manuka, Moe, Selestia, Lasyusha, Kikyo, Lapwing and Sio, plus the masculine Minase and Komano — 12 in total. ¥1,800 single, ¥5,000 full set.

Angelic melty / はるんち

An autumn-toned jacket over a knit, with checked trousers. A piece by はるんち, made for masculine bodies and for feminine bodies edited toward masculine.

Gold buttons on the jacket, a relaxed knit underneath, loafers below. A cross brooch and a long chain hang at the chest, with a beret and a choker included. Nine colorways — black, gray, white, purple, brown, wine, beige, green and navy — all sitting in the range of fallen leaves.

Polygons come to 31,360 for the garment, 23,858 for accessories and 3,556 for the beret, totalling △58,774. An editing PSD and a recommended shape-key reference image are bundled. Support covers eight avatars plus a head variant. ¥1,600 single, ¥3,600 full set.

GRUNGE HOODIE SET FOR MEN / MAISONDARC.

A zip hoodie set with heavy fade treatment. A piece by MAISONDARC., the creator behind the popular outfit "C1 EXPANSION BIG SILHOUETTE MA1 & HOODIE SET", released as the first entry in a line called "STREET GRUNGE COLLECTION Vol.1".

Inside are three pieces: hoodie, tank top and neck chain. A worn lettering graphic runs across the back, and everything stays monochrome. The presentation is staged as a lookbook down to the shop's paper bags and caps, with the brand's visual language held consistent throughout.

The package is a Unity Package plus base-color PSD textures. Support is limited to Minase alone, which is the trade for the level of build. ¥1,200.

Real-world brands release autumn lines

The notable thing about autumn 2024 is that a clothing retailer, a shoe brand and a department store all released autumn-winter lines for VRChat.

and ST HARE UNDERGROUND MODE - 2024 Autumn Collection / and ST

An autumn 2024 collection from and ST, Adastria's official fashion web store. The store gathers over 50 brands including GLOBAL WORK, niko and … and LOWRYS FARM, and this release takes two coordinates from HARE's "UNDERGROUND MODE" line into 3D.

Inside are a vintage-treated denim jacket with denim cargo trousers, and a bondage-detailed shirt with layered checked trousers. The 3D release landed on 19 September, the same day the real garments went on sale. 垓交官YUKI, who runs the virtual brands 千亥重工 and GALXIANNA, joined as collaborating creator.

Support covers 15 avatars in semi-support form — the store's own 枡花蒼 and 一色晴, plus Shinra, Manuka, Lapwing, Grus, Kikyo, Minase, Komano, Kuuta and others. The page explains what semi-support actually means, bundles shape-key reference images for anti-clipping, and names specific tools for the cases where the body still pokes through. Polygons run △10,846 for the jacket and △9,640 for the cargo. ¥2,000 single, ¥3,000 for the set.

24AW Chic Pumps / dianashoes.com

Shoe brand DIANA taking an actual autumn-winter pump into 3D. A pointed-toe pump with a twisted-band panel at the toe and heel, and the real product's item number (U18233) is printed on the page.

Four models are included: the pumps, a bag, a dress and a hat. The bag is a 3D-only design made to match the shoes, while the dress and hat are a collaboration with the metaverse fashion brand "Pochi by KT". Eight colorways run through mixed-material blocking with foil accents, and the bag follows the same scheme.

A later Modular Avatar version added toggles: color change, sleeve length, and hat and bag on/off from the Expressions menu. Polygons come to 43,514 across five materials and four meshes. Support covers Pochi, Manuka, Kikyo, Shinano, Shinra, Lasyusha, 龍のヨルちゃん, Grus, Julius and ココちゃん — 10 avatars. ¥2,000 single, ¥5,000 full set.

Outdoor Style / 大丸・松坂屋アバター販売公式

An outdoor coordinate from the Daimaru Matsuzakaya department stores, aimed at the autumn excursion season. A striped long-sleeve inner under a hooded top, with a cargo salopette over it and sneakers below. Colorways cover beige, navy, green, white and gray.

What's distinctive is the support model: it's made for the 12 avatars the shop itself sells. Each one carries a type code, and Prefabs are provided per type. The store's own avatars and the store's own clothes sit in one continuous line — which is a very department-store way to build a floor.

PhysBone and full-tracking support are included, along with texture variants. ¥2,300.

Worlds and Environments — Maple, and a Room with a Fire

World-related items number just seven, but autumn is the season that photographs best. In 2024 they split three ways: putting maple on the other side of the window, lighting a fire to warm the room, and materials that turn a space autumn by being dropped in.

Two pieces built around looking at autumn from your own room.

WaRoom / same不動産開発

A home world built on Japanese style and chill. A piece by same不動産開発, laid out as an entrance step, a hall, a living room, a bedroom and a balcony, supporting both PC and Quest.

The fixtures are all there from the start: a join notification sound, a join log and a full-length mirror at the entrance; toggleable mirrors, an auto-switching photo album, a clock and an avatar light in the living room; plus night mode and a bed collider in the bedroom. Lighting comes from cloud-shaped neon fixtures, drawing one modern line through a tatami room.

The highlight is the Leaf Switcher: the tree visible from the balcony switches between cherry blossom, fresh green and autumn maple. The same room changes season around you. A later update let that switch run locally or globally, and added a moon object. World size is 37MB on PC and 35MB on Quest, with a demo world and an installation manual published. ¥1,000.

紅葉に囲まれた和室 / hirameki-hakaba

A tatami room ringed on all four sides by autumn colour, ready to drop in. A piece by hirameki-hakaba, shipped as a unitypackage rather than a world, for building into your own.

Tatami, shoji and an engawa surround a sunken hearth at the centre, with an open-air bath set outside. The trees enclosing it are red maple and yellow ginkgo, so both autumn colours are present. And the steam effect animates, so the bathhouse atmosphere rises the moment you place it.

The package contains one unitypackage, one FBX and spare materials. Editing is free, and making a public world with it is explicitly permitted. ¥500.

Lighting a fire

When the temperature drops, you light something. One piece for the middle of the room.

VARAYA薪ストーブ / VARAYA OnlineShop

A cast-iron wood stove with fire particles and sound. A piece by VARAYA OnlineShop, a remake of a stove they had released previously.

Logs burn inside the black body, and the flue runs up to the ceiling. A rack for the poker sits at the side, and the top plate is a flat surface you can set things on. Placing the Prefab is the entire installation, which makes it easy to add partway through building a world. △14,450.

There's one more thing worth noting about how it's handled: buyers of the earlier stove are to be able to download this remake from their purchase history. The page says so up front, so nobody pays twice. ¥350.

Turning a space autumn by dropping it in

Two material sets that repaint a space in autumn colour.

風に揺れる四季の木々 / ひげや

Trees that change season while keeping the same shape. A piece by ひげや covering four species you'd find in a park or along a street — maple, zelkova, ginkgo and dogwood — each in four seasonal versions.

A custom shader moves the leaves in the wind, and switching on the "yuragi" option makes the wind drop and gust from time to time. It never sways at a constant rate, so it holds up at distance. Subsurface is supported too, so flowers and leaves glow through against a strong light. Four falling-leaf particle effects are included.

LODs are pre-configured and Quest is supported, so it drops straight onto a Terrain. A sample scene shows everything at once, and there's a demo world. Selling a world that has these built into it is explicitly permitted. ¥1,800.

Cozy Autumn -Home Decoration- / ALGAttic Room

Forty-two pieces of autumn furniture and props. A piece by ALGAttic Room — not a world, but the furniture set for building one.

Inside are knitted pumpkins in three colours, five mushrooms, rugs shaped like acorns, leaves and mushrooms, a bed under a checked duvet, a rattan full-length mirror, woven baskets, wooden crates and a log stool, candlesticks, a low table, duckboards, and corduroy cushions in seven colours — a room's worth. Polygon counts are listed piece by piece: △17,860 for the bed, △472 for the mirror, △600 for the wooden table.

Then there's the bonus pair: a simple wall and floor built for thumbnails and lightweight worlds (no windows), and a plain door. The stage for photographing the other 42 is part of the package. The contents come to 42 FBX files, 13 materials, 23 textures at 2048×2048 and 44 Prefabs, with a sample world published. ¥1,400.

Props and Sound

Last come the supporting parts that quietly set the air. Of the 143 autumn items in 2024, one is a prop, one is a gimmick, and one is a music track. Numerically the smallest region in the archive — and all three deal with the feel of the season directly.

Autumn in your hands

Two pieces for the hand and the floor.

風魔手裏剣 流星 / Syall's Atelier

A large shuriken shaped as a five-pointed star. The second entry in Syall's Atelier's "shinobi gear" line, and it folds into a scroll to carry around.

This is where the season enters: wind up before you throw and it switches through autumn, winter and spring, changing what it wears — maple, snowflakes, petals. A Modular Avatar Prefab and a recolor material ship with it.

The shuriken was released as part of the three-way collaboration with 餅亭's "明星暁月" from the Japanese chapter and めのうすとあ's "風霜高潔" particle effect. On top of that, the first entry in the line — a kunai — was updated the same day so it can be held in the left hand, letting you carry both at once. ¥800, ¥1,000 for the full set.

どこでも焚火 / hand made F

An avatar gimmick that puts a campfire at your feet and pins it in place. A piece by hand made F, Modular Avatar compatible, so installation is a drop-in.

It isn't only the flame: the crackle and the light it throws come with it. World-fixing means you can set it down in the middle of wherever people are standing and gather around. The page frames it as a reason for people to come together — even without talking, sharing time beside a fire is the point — which tells you exactly what it was designed for.

A later update tuned the sound falloff and the flame's look. ¥500, with an identical support-priced option alongside.

The sound of autumn

The one music asset in the aggregation.

BGM「金木犀と猫」/ すみれのBGM

A loopable BGM track led by a xylophone. A piece by すみれのBGM, with cover art placing a black cat's silhouette inside a wreath of golden osmanthus.

It sets autumn down at an unhurried pace, and a version without the cat's meow is available separately. The standard edition ships as WAV and permits commercial use with a credit to 村崎すみれ. The credit-free edition adds OGG and drops the attribution requirement.

The creator publishes hour-long versions on YouTube, so you can get a feel for the track before buying. ¥300 standard, ¥600 credit-free.

By price, ¥1,000–1,999 holds 89 items, about 60% of the total. Another 26 sit in ¥500–999, where accessories and props act as the entry point into the season. Compared with the summer roundups, free releases are scarce here — five out of 143.

If autumn 2024 comes down to one line, it's that autumn was continuous with winter. Eighty-nine of the 143 also carry the winter tag, and the release peak sits in November. What rose to the top were pieces built to take a layer on top, or to strip back into a second look. In a season where the temperature moves, one garment carrying two answers translated straight into numbers.

And underneath that, a fashion web store, a shoe brand and a department store all arrived under the same "autumn-winter 2024" framing. The two tie-ups visible in the summer roundup became three, one season later.

Every one of these carries a creator's proposal about how you might spend the season, and 143 of them stacked up into this. Zero hairstyles, zero avatars, one prop and one music track — the gaps are as real as the peaks, and nothing here suggests the ideas have run out.
