[Mega Roundup] What Will You Make This Halloween? VRChat Halloween Asset Archive 2025

In VRCFinder's tag aggregation, 343 VRChat items published on Booth in 2025 carry the "Halloween" tag. That's about 30% more than the 262 of the year before, and from those I picked 46 and sorted them into nine subjects for this archive. It isn't ordered by likes: the staples near the top share the shelf with pieces built around one sharp idea, so you can browse it for what to add, or wear, next Halloween.

At the top of all 343, with 31,784 likes, is a black-and-white hoodie set whose back can be covered edge to edge with a jack-o'-lantern. Let's start with the shape of Halloween 2025 in numbers.

📊 About the data Aggregated: 2026-10-25 / Scope: items published 2025-01-01 to 2025-12-31 carrying the "Halloween" tag with 300+ likes (343 items)

Top 20 Keywords

Frequency of VRCFinder's own keyword tags — useful for spotting trending tastes and features.

The keyword aggregation is led by free at 63, nearly double the 36 of 2024. Ghost, the top keyword of 2024, came second at 58, followed by PSD included at 30, pumpkin at 22 and texture at 22. Horror and witch tie at 19, with jiangshi at 13 and two other words for ghost at 13 each just below. The rise that catches the eye is non-human at 12: counting 2024 under the same conditions gives just 2. "Magic user" also went from 2 to 10.

Top 10 Taste Tags

Which taste/aesthetic tags appeared most in this theme.

By taste, dark at 176 and gothic at 139 lead, while horror held nearly level at 83, against 81 in 2024. The growth came on the sweet side: cute went from 50 to 68, yume-kawaii (dreamy pastel cute) from 18 to 31 and yami-kawaii (dark cute) from 17 to 25. Outside the chart, street rose from 3 to 15 and jirai-kei (a sweet-meets-dark Japanese street style) from 7 to 15. The costume subjects themselves didn't change much from 2024; what defined Halloween 2025 was the styles wearing them spreading toward everyday clothes. From here, subject by subject.

Streetwear — Adding Halloween to Everyday Clothes

With the "street" taste up fivefold and "jirai-kei" doubled, 2025 was a year with more pieces that enjoy Halloween in everyday streetwear styles. What took the top of all 343 was an everyday hoodie published in June, too. Near the top, rather than changing into a whole costume, lined up pieces made to add Halloween to your usual clothes after the fact.

June clothes, an October print

Two streetwear pieces published in summer or early autumn that took on Halloween colors once October came.

Hoodie set / Noem

A black-and-white monotone setup: an oversized zip hoodie, a shirt with an "×" embroidered on the collar, a necktie with a chain, and shorts. It's an everyday outfit Noem published in June 2025, and it collected 31,784 likes, the most of any of the 343 "Halloween" items of 2025.

The Halloween element is a jack-o'-lantern texture added in the October 19 update. In three colorways — orange on black, black on orange and black on purple — triangular eyes and a jagged grin smile across the whole back of the hoodie. On the front, the eyes and mouth are split left and right of the zipper, and zipping up joins them into one face. Your usual black-and-white hoodie becomes a Halloween look from front and back alike, just by swapping the texture.

There are three zipper pulls in × and cross shapes and six neckties, and the shirt hem can be tucked into the shorts or left out. In August, a black-and-white two-tone was added to celebrate 10,000 likes. Support covers 23 avatars including Batsu, Mao, Rurune, Manuka, Shinano, Kuuta, Kanata and Kipfel, with hoodie, shirt, necktie and shorts together at △47,475. ¥1,700 single, ¥3,900 full set.

Rebel Rabbit / fumitiki shop

A punk-leaning rabbit outfit: a knit cap with bunny ears, a baggy off-shoulder hoodie pinned with safety pins, a short shirt with a necktie, platform shoes, and even a carrot to hold in your mouth. It was published in September 2025 by fumitiki shop, who also appeared in the 2024 edition with a sailor outfit and a devil-cat plushie in its arms.

About ten days after it was published, Halloween-color materials were added. The hoodie is split down the middle into purple and orange, the knit cap and its ears get orange-and-black stripes, and the long socks pick up orange bands and a purple pattern. Layer on the second color and normal map as well, and a worn-in, sooty grime settles over the whole outfit. You can switch the punk rabbit look to Halloween colors while keeping the full set together.

A thick nail is stuck through the carrot in your mouth, and shape keys let you hide the nail or adjust its size and where it sits at the mouth. Support covers nine avatars — Rurune, Shinano, Manuka, Chocolat, Sio, Shinra, Milfy, +Head and Eku — at △113,809. ¥1,000 single, ¥1,800 full set.

A role layered onto streetwear

Two outfits that layer one Halloween role onto a street or girly look.

MetalFreak / HeartAttack_official

A Halloween outfit themed on metal and tools: big bolts standing on either side of the head, a tube top that looks wrapped in bandages, a striped off-shoulder jacket and shorts, with tools like a wrench and a hammer. HeartAttack_official published it on October 27, 2025.

The main trick is a hand part riding on top of the head. It grips the head from behind, and from the Expressions menu you can change its shape to a peace sign, a thumbs-up, a finger heart and more, or make it move. When you take photos, the hand on your head adds a pose on top of your own two hands. The ID card hanging from the neck has fields for a name or MBTI, and a metal choker sits at the neck.

There are 16 colorways: black stripes and black leather, black-and-white, red-and-white and purple-and-white checkers, and even pink and light blue. Each colorway changes the color of the head hand, the bolts and the socks as well. Support covers 11 avatars including Shinano, Manuka, Mizuki, Rurune, Chocolat, Milfy and Arue, with the outfit at △79,371. ¥1,500 single, ¥2,500 full pack.

Venomous / ALICE

A little-devil outfit layering a fur cardigan, devil wings and a tail over a tight dress with lace-up ribbons. ALICE, the creator behind the popular outfit "EverAfter", tailored it for Halloween.

The devil wings and tail move with an animation. Along with a tail hung with a heart padlock and key, a heart-shaped eyepatch and a beret with two little points standing up, it even comes with a "captive bear" plushie bandaged to the leg. It's a sweet dress with just a little poison mixed in.

On top of that, it comes ready for after Halloween. Switch to the Normal ver Prefab and it becomes a more everyday arrangement, and the description says, "It's cute even with the cardigan off, an outfit you can wear in every season." Support covers 12 avatars including Shinano, Manuka, Milltina, Rurune, Lumina and Eku, with the main outfit at about △66,000. ¥1,600 single, ¥2,900 full pack.

Vampires and Jiangshi — Wear It, Transform, Bite

By keyword, the two Japanese words for vampire counted 10 and 6, and "jiangshi" (the hopping corpse of Chinese folklore) counted 13. The vampires of 2025 don't stop at throwing on a cloak or a robe: vampire behavior itself, like turning your body into a swarm of bats or biting someone at the neck, lines up as avatar gimmicks.

Throwing on a cloak

A vampire outfit for male and female avatars alike, and a robe to throw over clothes you already have.

Vlad Tepes / えねちあうりば

A unisex vampire outfit built from a frilly tie and frilled shirt, a jacket vest and corset, and a big cloak with feathered shoulder pieces. えねちあうりば published it in September 2025, and it collected the eighth-most likes of the 343.

Support covers 15 avatars, from Minase, Komano, Hanka, Mao and +Head to Shinra, Sio, Rurune and Kipfel, and the product name itself says "for 15 male and female avatars." The cloak, jacket, corset, shoulder feathers and tie can each be toggled inside VRChat, and with the cloak off you're in a slim look of frilled shirt and trousers. The same outfit moves between the classic vampire swirling a cloak and an aristocratic look.

Colors are chosen part by part: eight for the vest and trousers, ten for the cloak, six for the feathers around the neck and four for the shoes. A September 2026 update added materials wreathed in red and blue flames, and the description says, "Those who edited it last year can enjoy a different-feeling edit again with the new Material!" ¥1,800 single, ¥4,000 full pack.

Vampire Robe / こがねんち

A long black robe reaching almost to the floor, with a red lining, a red stand collar, a red cord bow at the neck and a cape covering the shoulders. The description calls it "recommended for anyone who wants to dress up as a vampire for Halloween," and the product is the robe alone.

With no shirt or trousers included, you become a vampire just by throwing it over a white shirt, vest or jacket you already have. The sample shots, too, layer the same robe over different clothes on each avatar. On Halloween night, you can head out with one robe added to your usual edit. Support covers seven avatars — Hanka, Arue, Komano, Nguyen, Kanata, Manuka and Kipfel — at ¥500.

Becoming bats, and biting

Outside the outfit itself, two gimmicks add vampire-like behavior.

Koumori Henshin Set (Bat Transformation Set) / 金曜雑貨

A transformation gimmick where your avatar's body vanishes and turns into countless bats that fly off. The description opens with "A bat transformation gimmick perfect for Halloween," and suggests pairing it with a vampire or devil costume.

It works together with an editor extension for making your avatar invisible, which the same shop gives away for free. When your body disappears through the menu's vanish option or while you're away (AFK), a swarm of black bats scatters from that spot, and you can move around as a cloud of bats. Turn it off and you return to your original form. An update on October 28 also added a Prefab that doesn't transform on AFK and works from the menu only.

As a bonus, it includes a particle effect where bats take off from your footprints as you walk. When you slip away from a gathering in a vampire costume, you can make an exit where you quietly vanish and leave as bats. ¥500.

Kyuuketsu Gimmick (Bloodsucking Gimmick) / 夢の落とし物

A vampire gimmick: bring your face close to someone's body while making fists with both hands, and you bite, with a screen effect, a sound effect and blood-spatter particles. It's a ¥200 Prefab published in July 2025 that works as soon as you drop it into your avatar.

Turn on "Bloody Chomp ON" in the menu, then lean your face toward someone while holding both hands in fists (Fist), and it registers as a bite. In that moment, a narrow screen overlay (an effect laid over the view), a sound effect and red particles play. In a vampire outfit, lean in toward a friend's neck and it becomes a real biting scene, so the two of you can shoot or act out a bloodsucking moment together.

A gothic jiangshi

DeadlyGrace / and MILK.

A gothic jiangshi outfit: a short-sleeved China dress with big false sleeves hanging from the wrists, a lace veil over one eye, a large bow hung with a talisman, and bandaged platform boots. The description introduces it as "a gothic × jiangshi built on a world where 'death' and 'beauty' live side by side."

A silver heart wrapped in barbed wire sits at the chest, and a barbed-wire-style chain wraps the ankles too. The bow, bandages and cuffs have textures in three stages: clean, dirty and bloodstained, so the same outfit can swing elegant or dark. Remove the false sleeves, hat, veil and bandages one by one and it becomes a more everyday China dress, wearable, in the description's words, "from Halloween to everyday use."

Characters are written on the bow's talisman, with a little hidden joke: look closely and "maybe it says what the jiangshi wants you to do?" Support covers 16 avatars including Shinano, Manuka, Milltina, Shinra, Mafuyu, Milfy, Eku, Kipfel, Marycia and Rurune, with total polygons at △93,549. ¥1,300 single, ¥3,400 full pack.

Ghosts — 58 Items, Many Ways to Become One

The keyword "ghost" counted 58, second only to "free." Add the two other words for ghost, at 13 each, and it comes to 84, the biggest subject of Halloween. In 2025, the options for how to become a ghost widened: a ghost bride, loungewear with ghost-faced cuffs, a sheet ghost, a cloth-ghost avatar and an animation for drifting.

A ghost bride and ghostly loungewear

Ghost outfits in both directions, scary and cute.

Ghroselia / Dollit

A Halloween outfit themed on a ghost bride: a bustier dress with roses at the chest, a long veil and tiara, and even someone's hands floating in the air. It's by Dollit, the creator behind the popular free outfit "VelvetMoon", and the description invites you: "Why not spend this Halloween with her?"

Floating hands lift both ends of the veil while another hand covers her mouth, and with hands simply resting on the dress, a photo becomes a scene from a ghost story. The description adds, "If the hands seem to be moving... surely that's just your imagination?"

There are ten colors in all: five A TYPE colors such as white × red and white × gold, and five B TYPE colors with a pattern like spatters across the veil and dress. In white she's a proper bride; in black or B TYPE, an unsettling one. Support covers 13 avatars including Milltina, Milfy, Eku, Shinano, Sio, Manuka, Selestia, Airi, Rurune and Mizuki. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,600 full pack.

Oh my ghost / Dou2bom

A loungewear-style outfit: a loose knit cover-up whose cuffs are ghost faces, a camisole hung with a cross charm, a frilled mini skirt, a cat-ear headband and a ghost-shaped pochette. It's the first 3D outfit by its creator, Dou2bom, published in September 2025.

The tips of the long sleeves are ghost faces, so just waving makes it look like ghost puppets on both hands are chatting. The pochette on your shoulder is ghost-shaped too. A PSD is included, and the samples show pink, light blue, white, black, orange, lavender and more. Support covers eight avatars — Manuka, Chiffon, Airi, Chocolat, Milfy, Rurune, Shinano and Ichigo. ¥800 single, ¥1,500 full set.

Under a sheet

The simplest kind: two ways to become a ghost under a white cloth. Both are free.

Ghost Costume -Karin- / CatPrincess

A free outfit: a white sheet ghost you pull over your whole head, with Karin's face peeking out through the hole for the face. CatPrincess made it to celebrate 9,000 followers on Booth, and the description says it's "recommended for people who want to do a Halloween edit but think it's a hassle."

The eye and mouth holes have shape keys for size and position, and the mouth moves a little when you talk. Raise both arms and the sheet's sleeves spread wide. Just pull it on, and a ghost slips into the Halloween group photo. It's made for Karin, at △8,744, free.

Nuno Obake (Cloth Ghost) / ささみにく

A free ghost avatar under a white cloth that sways gently. The description is just two sentences — "A ghost under a cloth. It sways." — and it was published in January 2025.

It stands about 1m tall, counting the part where it floats. PhysBones sway the hands, head and feet; polygons are △9,664 with one material, and the performance rank is Excellent. It supports both PC and mobile, and can also be set as a fallback avatar, so friends on Quest see it as is. There are 13 colors, including red, purple, mint, candy, fire, poison and monster, so you and your friends can turn into a gang of ghosts in different colors. Free.

Drifting

HappyHallowe'en Ghost Animation / sss

An animation for ghost edits that has you hang your long sleeves in front and float softly in the air. The description opens, "I made an animation for Halloween ghost edits."

Even in a ghostly outfit, a standing pose can still make you look like a person. With this animation, you hold both hands forward with the sleeves hanging down and bend one leg back as you drift. It's built on Manuka and works on any avatar, though depending on the pose, the hands and feet may end up slightly off. At ¥200, it's a finishing touch you can add to a Halloween edit.

Witches — Flying, and Carrying a Lamp

The keyword "witch" counted 19, and "magic user" rose from 2 in 2024 to 10. In the 2024 edition, witches who sit on brooms to get around lined up near the top. In 2025, the subject extended to how the magic is used: a witch who flies on a broom, a witch carrying a pumpkin lamp, a magical girl firing lasers from a lollipop wand.

Brooms and black cats

Two outfits that don't stop at holding a broom, but go as far as riding it and flying.

VelourEclipse / velvetsky

A witch outfit with a wide-brimmed witch hat trimmed with white roses, a long black coat with silver embroidery and a pleated mini skirt, down to a lantern-hung broom and a cat plushie. velvetsky, the creator behind the popular outfit "Noir_Luxe", published it on October 27, 2025, and it collected the seventh-most likes of the 343.

A lantern hangs from the tip of the broom and a ribbon is tied around the handle. Strike a pose straddling the broom and it's a scene from a picture-book witch; hug the cat plushie to your chest and it's a photo of a witch and her familiar. The cat comes in three kinds: black, calico and white, and the ribbon tied on the cat comes in seven colors.

The outfit comes in seven colors including black, white, wine, blue, purple and red, and the broom in seven too, varying the ribbon and the lantern glass. It includes shape keys to keep fingers from poking through the gloves, plus a mask for avatars without those shape keys. Support covers 18 avatars including Shinano, Milltina, Airi, Moe, Shinra, Manuka, Rurune and Kipfel. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,600 full pack.

Moonveil_Witch / Yume Haus

A witch outfit — a pointed hat with a moon fitting, a long black coat lined with a star pattern, a white blouse and a pleated skirt — with a gimmick for riding a broom. The description introduces it: "Moonveil Witch, a witch clad in the moon's magic, is here!"

The radial menu has "Fly," and in the description's words, "With the gimmick, you can even ride the broom and fly through the sky." A photo of a witch flying on a broom against a full moon can be taken right there in a world. The belt hangs with gold "XXX" lettering and a pocket watch, and the thigh-high tights have jeweled bands.

Eleven colorways, including purple, pink, peach, light blue × white, navy × yellow, red × navy, black and green, change even the coat lining and the hat ribbon. Support covers 20 avatars including Plum, Lime, Chocolat, Chiffon, Lumina, Eku, Milfy, Ichigo, Lasyusha and Kipfel. ¥1,490 single, ¥3,790 full pack.

Pumpkin lamps and autumn hats

A witch carrying a pumpkin lamp, and a witch hat decorated with leaves.

Astral Witch / 琴うみ製作所

A witch outfit: a wine-red long dress embroidered in gold thread with stars and moons, sheer gold wide sleeves, a wide-brimmed pointed hat, and a staff hung with a pumpkin-shaped lamp. A four-pointed star decorates the lamp's window, and a ribbon winds around the staff.

This outfit's signature is the breadth of its support: 102 avatars. From staples like Airi, Shinano, Manuka and Rurune to small bodies like Mamehinata and Minahoshi, and on to Komano, Kuuta, Kanata and Bokusei, the product page lists 102 entries in Japanese syllabary order. It's easy to find the avatar you have, PSD files for editing are given away for free, and you can try it on in an outfit showcase world.

The outfit is around △45,000, the hat △8,808 and the lamp △9,971. ¥1,600 single and ¥2,300 full set; at aggregation time, a Halloween sale running through October 31 had them at ¥1,100 and ¥1,600.

WitchWit / 雪花しん/shinの倉庫

A set of a wide-brimmed witch hat decorated with golden leaves and stars, and witch clothes. The open-front coat has star ornaments, belt fastenings and a big white collar, and the dress beneath shifts color in a gradient toward the hem. It was published in October 2025 with the line, "Something I made half a year ago, and finally it's autumn."

Support covers nine avatars, from small bodies like Kipfel and Minahoshi to Lapwing and Sanatia. Clothes that began as an outfit for chibi characters were extended to avatars with different proportions. The colors are built so the whole thing can be recolored just by color-correcting two materials (the cloth, and the leaves and metal), and each sample shot uses a different scheme: brown × pink, purple × blue, deep green.

From the circle menu you can call up an AFK motion that floats softly on top of a book. Polygons are △30,838 for the outfit and △7,797 for the hat. ¥1,400 single, ¥3,000 full set, or ¥500 for the hat alone.

Magical girls and witch hats

A magical girl who uses moves with her wand, and a free witch hat to put on over everyday clothes.

LOLLIP♡P☆MAGICA / QW_Style

A lolita × candy × magical girl outfit: a skirt puffed up with frills and lace, a wide-brimmed witch hat and a big lollipop-shaped wand. The description opens, "Also added color variations perfect for Halloween," with purple × black × orange and orange × black stripes among them.

The wand appears via "Cane_ON" in the menu, and right-hand gestures trigger moves. Make a gun shape with your right hand and a magic circle spreads in front of your body; raise your thumb to lock the wand in place, then make a fist to fire a laser. The same steps let you put up a barrier or gather effects at the wand tip for a strike. The barrier is decoration only, but the laser and strike can work as attack gimmicks in some worlds.

Besides the Halloween colorways, there are solid, check, monotone and dark ones, each in a clearly different style. A Prefab for linking with a separately sold transformation gimmick is included too. Support covers 11 options including Airi, Lumina, Lunalit, Manuka, Marycia, Milltina, Sio, Shinano and Mamefriends. ¥1,800 single, ¥3,600 full set.

STRAY WITCH / STRAY.

A wide-brimmed pointed hat with a worn-in feel, stitching running across it and a brim that looks raw-cut at the edge. STRAY. gives it away for free.

It isn't a shiny new witch hat but one where the fabric texture and white seams stand out. Samples show four colors — black, a denim-like light blue, a dark gray check and a red × black check — and it doesn't look out of place on a street look. Just put it on over your everyday clothes to add only a hint of witch. Free (a support edition with identical contents is ¥500).

Red Riding Hood and the Wolf

The keyword "Red Riding Hood" went from 1 in 2024 to 5. At Halloween, the familiar fairy-tale girl becomes a costume in two directions: pairing up with the wolf, or getting spattered with blood. Here are three: a Red Riding Hood and a werewolf that pair up, and a Red Riding Hood carrying a knife.

Little Red Hood / Pavillion(パビリオン)

A dress with a hooded cape, inspired by the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. It has a lace-up corset belt and a skirt of layered frills, with a basket holding three apples, a baguette and a bottle. Pavillion, whose vampire dress appeared in the 2024 edition, published it in October 2025, right before Halloween.

Colors swap part by part: the hood in red or black, the inner in white, black or gray, and the boots and basket in two colors each. Combine them for anything from a classic Red Riding Hood to an all-black look. Take off the cape and it's an off-shoulder dress with bell sleeves, so it works for photos outside Halloween too.

A matching outfit exists as well: pair it with the werewolf outfit from the sister brand OGRE, introduced next, and you get a Red Riding Hood and wolf pair costume. Support covers 12 avatars — Shinano, Shinra, Manuka, Lumina, Milltina, Rurune, Milfy, Chiffon, Airi, Sio, Mayo and Misaki — with the outfit at △84,127. ¥2,200 single, ¥4,200 full set; at aggregation time, a Halloween sale through October 31 had them at ¥2,000 and ¥3,900.

Wild Wolf Hood / OGRE

A werewolf-motif outfit for male avatars: a fur cloak spreading wide from the shoulders, a hood with gold ornaments and wolf ears, a midriff-baring crop top, and loose pants and boots. It's by OGRE, Pavillion's sister brand, and the description also suggests enjoying it together with Little Red Hood.

The cloak toggles on and off, and with it off the hood disappears too, leaving a light look of just the top and a choker. The wolf ears on the hood come off as well, and shape keys fit the hood's shape to your hairstyle. The fur comes in four colors — beige, black, gray and white — and different parts can mix different colors.

Support covers eight male avatars — Ryoma, Minase, Komano, Bokusei, Kuuta, Zev, Hanka and Kanata — with the outfit at △77,321. ¥2,200 single, ¥4,200 full set; in the Halloween sale at aggregation time they were ¥2,000 and ¥3,900.

Abunai! Akazukin (Watch Out, Red Riding Hood!) / hehzs

A Red Riding Hood outfit for small avatars: a tiered-frill dress with an apron and a hooded cape, plus a knife, an apple and a basket. True to the name, the cute look comes with dangerous tricks.

From the menu you can use four actions: stab with the knife, eat the apple, put blood on the clothes and make an aura glow from the eyes. Stabbing with the knife releases rainbow star particles, and putting blood on the clothes brings up a red blood-spatter pattern on the apron and skirt. You get to play with the gap between a cute chibi Red Riding Hood and the fact that she's actually dangerous.

Besides the classic red, there are nine colors including black, purple, navy, green, light blue and yellow. Support covers 15 avatars including Komari, Kumin, Ruru, Mamehinata, Kipfel, Nemesis, Elsion, Korone and Azuki, with polygons totaling △33,590. ¥800 per pair of avatars, ¥1,800 full set.

Wearing a Role — Reaper, Nun, Pierrot and Horror Protagonist

The 2025 keywords include roles that barely appeared in 2024. "Nun" went from 0 to 5, "pierrot" from 1 to 6, and "grim reaper" from 1 to 4. These are costumes where you don't become a monster but wear the role of a character in a story.

Reapers and nuns

R.E.A.P ENFORCER / イルカネズミ百貨店

Gear layering a hooded coat with a chest rig lined with pouches, shoulder, elbow and knee protectors and boots, carrying a mechanical scythe. In the description's words it's "close-combat gear inspired by the grim reaper." It was published in August 2025 and collected the fourth-most likes of the 343.

It recasts the classic reaper of black robe and scythe as a special-forces operative carrying a scythe. The hood switches via the Modular Avatar menu: hood up for a reaper, hood down for a combatant showing their face. Bring your hand near the scythe to pick it up, and when you're not using it, fold the blade and hang it on your back. Two ways of putting it together are shown as well: a heavy kit with the chest rig over the coat, and a light kit with pouches at the waist over a sweatshirt.

Support covers 17 avatars including Manuka, Selestia, Shinano, Kikyo, Mafuyu, Milfy, Eku, Milltina, Lapwing, Moe, Airi and Ramune. ¥1,800 single, ¥4,000 full set.

Simple Sister / pinaponnte

A free nun's habit with restrained decoration: a black veil with a white band, a white stand collar, a wide-sleeved black long robe and a cross necklace. The description says, "I made it to match the Halloween season, more or less."

Since it's a straightforward habit with no extra ornaments, changing just the hair and makeup makes it a nun costume, and it also serves as a base for layering other accessories. Support covers 11 avatars including Kipfel, Rurune, Shinano, Lapwing, Deltaflair, Lethal Fleet and Inuinu, so it even fits Inuinu, who takes the form of a Shiba dog. Free (a support edition is ¥200).

Masks and pierrots

A pierrot of the dark night, and a masquerade look.

Midnight Joker / Tsuzulo

A "pierrot of the dark night" outfit made only for Marycia: a mini top hat with a crown pattern, a caped jacket, puffed white sleeves, balloon shorts and tights with a different pattern on each leg. Along with the outfit comes a pierrot makeup texture for the face.

The makeup is layered as the second skin material, and it can be used three ways: face makeup and tights pattern together, tights only, or face only. The pierrot mask held in the hand comes in black and white, and the menu toggles the mask's display and the outfit's color. The description recommends it "for boys and androgynous edits too." The outfit comes in six colors, about △67,300 in total, at ¥900.

Halloween Night Party / 5Z6PBK

A costume set of a jacket and cloak, black with purple damask accents. It's made for avatars that use the shared bodies +Head and 5Z6PBody.

The way it multiplies is distinctive: 23 outfit pieces, every one of them in 20 colorways. The colorways carry Halloween names like "Jack-o'-Lantern," "Pumpkin pie," "Trick or Treat" and "The Mummy." Four shirts, long or short boots with five belts, and ribbons combine freely, and there are two masks: one covering just the eyes and a cracked half mask. You can fine-tune how close to a masquerade guest you go by recombining parts.

Swap the texture and the shirt and cloak hems look scorched. A PSD for editing is included. ¥2,400 for the PlusHead version, ¥2,000 for the 5Z6PBody version, ¥3,000 for the full set with both.

Bandages and stitches

A bandaged patient, a devil in a patchwork lab coat, a horror-game protagonist. Three pieces that build a role from the feel of blood and wounds.

Bandage Short Hair / Bonyard

Short hair with bandages wrapped around the head, an ahoge (a stray strand on top) and one side left long. It's from Bonyard, a brand by VAlice, who also appeared in the 2024 edition with a jiangshi outfit, and it collected 14,063 likes, the second-most of the 343 "Halloween" items of 2025.

The bandages come in three kinds: white, dirty and bloodied. In white she's a child in the hospital; with bloodied bandages, a horror victim. The same hairstyle changes roles. The description also says, "It's finished to fit all sorts of situations, like Halloween or a hospital." The bandages move automatically along with the shape keys that change the amount of bangs, and the hair follows when you change the shape of the base body's ears.

The hair color list has three families — solid, with inner color, and the avatars' default colors — and the ribbon and highlight colors change easily too. Support covers 26 avatars including Airi, Ichigo, Eku, Sio, Shinano, Manuka, Milltina and Rurune, plus a generic Prefab you position yourself. Support kept being added after it was published, reaching Urara in August 2026. △16,267, ¥1,000.

ALTER-EGO『Daemonis』 / L'heurE bleuE/ルール・ブルー

A "devil in a patchwork lab coat" outfit: a big-sleeved coat covered in seams, a top with a harness and chains, long pants and platform boots, combined with horns, a tail, an eyepatch, glasses and bandages. It was published in October 2025 and collected the 20th-most likes of the 343.

Add the horns and tail and you're a devil; take them off and it leans toward a suspicious researcher in a patchwork lab coat. The coat comes in three colors — white, black and rust — each with a dirty variant. The outfit's base colors are white and black, so put two side by side in white and black and they look like a matched pair of devils.

Support covers 12 avatars — Minase, Komano, Karne (+Head), Kanata, Hanka, Ii, Shinra, Lasyusha, Nakiya, Mao, Baku and Misaki — at △133,081. ¥1,000 single, ¥2,850 full pack; at aggregation time a sale had them at ¥750 and ¥2,000.

00's Horror Game Protagonist Outfit Set / はなえちゅ

A men's outfit set based on the protagonist of a 2000s horror game: a blood-smeared school cardigan and pants, loafers, and a steel pipe in hand. The product name says "Mens Halloween," and はなえちゅ put it out for Halloween.

Take an ordinary school uniform — white shirt, red necktie, cardigan — add dark red bloodstains all over and a steel pipe, and you stand like a horror-game protagonist who has escaped the monsters. Shoot on a night street or in a classroom, and you get a shot like a game's box art.

Support covers seven options — +Head, Leu, Hanka, Kanata, Komano, Fusion-kun and Mao — at △28,139. ¥1,400 single, ¥5,000 full pack.

Halloween for Small Avatars

Halloween items naming Mamefriends or Kipfel in the product name went from 21 in 2024 to 30. Earlier chapters already had small-body support in Abunai! Akazukin, Vampire Robe and Astral Witch, but this chapter gathers costumes made for small avatars.

Ghosts that tag along

A dragon demon lord, and a babydoll with a pet ghost.

Darudaru Dragonia (Slouchy Dragonia) / #POTATOTO

An outfit for Mamefriends combining a loose T-shirt and pants with dragon hands, feet, tail and horns. The theme, in the description's words, is "a dragon (self-proclaimed demon lord) who has gotten all too used to lazing around at home." It's by #POTATOTO, the creator behind the popular outfit "Nocturne Fleur", and it collected the tenth-most likes of the 343.

The Halloween element is an extra part: a jack-o'-lantern you can stick on a horn. Together with a handmade cardboard crown, a skull hanging from the collar, and T-shirts printed with words like "まおう" (demon lord) and "KING OF CHILL," it makes a lazy Halloween demon lord. The collar's skull can give off pixel-art flames, and the dragon hands move along with the avatar's fingers. Raise your arms and the big T-shirt sleeves slide toward the shoulders.

On December 12, jingle bells, Christmas stockings and illuminations that blink by color were added, and on December 31, mikan oranges, so one outfit carries you from Halloween through the New Year holidays. Color variations come to 11 for the dragon parts and seven for the T-shirt (21 counting the lettering variations). ¥1,300.

YuraYura BabyDoll / Chamm shop

A ghost outfit for Mamefriends: a top with sleeves long enough to cover the hands, a pleated skirt and drawers, and a head cloth that hides one eye. The description pitches it "for you who want to enjoy dressing up in a stylish, casual way," and it's a co-production between Chamm shop and Akatsuki.

The outfit includes a little ghost that follows you around. Pet it and it beams; leave it behind and it starts crying, with four expressions in all. From the menu you can call up floating will-o'-the-wisp particles in two types, and change the length of the sleeves. The description notes that with the head cloth off, "you can even disguise yourself as a human," so it wears as everyday clothes too.

Five colorways include black × red, white × light blue, white × pink and black × orange × purple, at △12,982. In August 2026 it added support for Melvii. ¥1,500; at aggregation time, a Halloween sale had it at ¥1,000.

A free pirate and a glowing lantern

A pirate with a ghost on board, and a jiangshi carrying an andon lantern.

Ghost Pirates / ゆきのおもちゃ箱

A free Halloween pirate outfit for small avatars: a ghost riding on a skull tricorn hat, an eyepatch, a lace-up top, a tiered skirt with a ragged hem and a chain belt. The first line of the description reads, "A Halloween outfit (late) for Mamefriends." A VRChat outage kept it from being uploaded on Halloween itself, so it was published on November 1, 2025.

According to the creator's making-of notes, it started as an outfit to wear to an avatar meetup, and a pumpkin charm sways from the belt. Then, on October 21, 2026, an update "because it's Halloween again" added more supported avatars, Halloween colorways and a gun you fire with a hand sign. It now supports over 30 avatars, centered on the Mamefriends shared body and extending to Mochiyama Kingyo's avatars such as Usasaki and Minahoshi, the Emoken shared body, and Shinano. △72,166, free.

Nekoneko Jiangshi / Chamm shop

A cat × jiangshi outfit: a cat-eared jiangshi hat and talisman, long hand-covering sleeves, bandaged legs and a clip-on cat tail, with a glowing andon lantern you can carry in your hand or float around you. It's by Chamm shop, the same creator as YuraYura BabyDoll.

The lantern's brightness and on/off can be changed from the menu, so you can light up your surroundings even in a dark horror world. The talisman and other parts have emission masks too, glowing in fluorescent colors in dark places. The tail's shape can be chosen from the menu in four ways — "happy," "cheerful," "sad" and "angry" — to match your expression in photos. There are skirt and pants types, and the description says it's unisex.

Support covers Mamefriends, Emoken's Korone, Azuki and Clara, Miminoko and Savarum, in ten colors at △42,788. ¥1,200 single, ¥2,000 full set; at aggregation time a sale had them at ¥900 and ¥1,300.

An iron maiden and a nurse

Eiserne Jungfrau / まそっぷ!masopp

Two outfits spun off from the Kipfel-only "Edel Ritter" series: I, a nurse style with chained shackles, and II, an iron maiden style. They were published on October 31, 2025, Halloween itself.

II puts on a hood modeled on the face of an iron maiden, with closed eyes and tears, at the back of the head, paired with a spiked tiered skirt, red tights, big frilled sleeves and chains. I is an aproned dress with paw-pad-style gloves hung with chains and a crested hat. The full set includes two kinds of syringes filled with red liquid as a bonus.

Little Kipfel becomes creepy-cute in either I or II. Since platform soles are a feature of these outfits, the creator recommends a free tool for adjusting floor height. ¥500 each for I and II, ¥1,100 full set.

Accessories — Adding to the Head, Neck and Hands

Accessories rose from 61 in 2024 to 86, second only to the 154 outfits. By keyword, "non-human" went from 2 to 12 and "skull" from 3 to 10. Without changing your whole outfit, adding one thing to the head, neck or hands is enough here: these pieces shift your body's outline and your hands toward something non-human.

On top of the head

A hood, a halo, hairpins and horns: four pieces added on top of the head.

LaceNekoHat / HeartAttack_official

A free head accessory: an all-lace hood shaped with cat ears, tied with a lace ribbon under the chin. HeartAttack_official, the same creator as MetalFreak, gave it away in June 2025 to celebrate 500 followers, and it collected the ninth-most likes of the 343.

An October 13 update added a Halloween texture as a separate file. It's a pattern of red stains scattered across white, with the inside of the ears turned red as well, so the sweet white lace hood becomes something for Halloween night. The regular version comes in four colors — black, pale purple, pink and white — edged with floral embroidered lace. △5,423, free.

obake Halo / YOHaku

A free halo that floats a white cloth ghost with a sheer hem above your head, in place of an angel's ring. The description opens with a single "Happy Halloween."

Besides the regular version, it includes a particle version with bats and candy dancing around the ghost. It doesn't depend on the outfit: add it to whatever you wear, and Halloween night floats above your head. Free.

Ghost Hair Accessory Set / しゅりやさん

A hairpin-style accessory set: a white ghost, a heart, two ribbons and small white dots, scattered and pinned across the bangs. しゅりやさん made it for Halloween 2025 and renewed it as Ver2 in September 2026.

Just pinning a little ghost into your usual hairstyle brings in a touch of Halloween. The ribbons and heart can be set to separate colors, so you can make schemes beyond the 12 sample patterns. Ver2 is △2,300. The Prefab is based on Kipfel with the default hairstyle, but with position adjustment it works on other avatars too. The regular price is ¥200, and it's being given away free until October 31, 2026.

Candle Horn / AquaPixel

A horn-style head accessory: candelabra arms reach out from both sides of the head, lighting four candles, two on each side. AquaPixel put it out as "a horn accessory with a candle motif!"

Chains and small star-shaped gems hang from the swirling candelabra frames, and sparks rise above the candle flames. Just adding the horns gives you the silhouette of a candelabra on your head, unmistakably not human. The frames come in eight colors — amethyst, gold, sapphire, pink diamond, quartz, black, diamond and ruby — and the support edition also has purple and green flames set up. It's made for Rurune, so other avatars need position adjustment. ¥300 (support edition ¥400).

Neck and ears

Gothic Accessory Set / てんぱすおおもり

A five-piece gothic accessory set: skull and coffin earrings, a stitched choker, a melting choker, and a hair ribbon with a choice of rose or skull ornament. It's by てんぱすおおもり, the creator behind the popular nails "Simple Gel Nail", and it collected the 11th-most likes of the 343.

The description says, "Please make use of it for Halloween and gothic lolita edits." Make the melting choker red for Halloween, or go sweet lolita with a pink ribbon and a white rose: the same set swings widely by color. The two chokers are remakes of ones published in 2022, both in many colors. Since it's just earrings, chokers and a ribbon to add, black clothes you already own become a Halloween look as they are. ¥500.

Hebi no Muffler Hone (Bone Snake Muffler) / アトリエミオリ

A muffler-style accessory: a snake skeleton — spine, ribs and skull linked together — wrapped around the neck. アトリエミオリ put it out as "the bone version of the snake muffler," suggesting in the description that "it might be nice to wrap around your neck for the Halloween season and such."

The snake skull at your neck moves in sync with the direction you face. Make a gun shape (Gun) with your left hand and the snake's head bites, too. Blendshapes for fitting shoulder raises and the front-back position at the neck are included, and wrapping it over everyday clothes like a black high neck makes a skeleton costume.

Five colors: Natural, Black, White, Gold and Silver. The set version adds three snake-bone rings and earrings. The muffler is △45,300. ¥800 regular, ¥1,000 for the set.

Dyeing the hands

villain nails / nekopenshop

A villain-style hand set combining long, sharp nails with an arm material whose skin color shifts in a gradient from fingertips to elbow. The description says, "I wanted it for Halloween myself, so I made it."

The nails are a mesh attached with Modular Avatar, and the arms work by swapping the avatar's arm material for a dedicated one. Without adding gloves, you get hands that look as if the arm itself has been dyed. In a photo with your hand held up in front of your face, it brings a villain's air without changing your outfit. A mask for one arm only is included too.

Five colors: light blue, purple, navy-purple, black and red. Support covers 20 avatars including Milltina, Shinano, Rurune, Marycia, Lasyusha, Komano, Lapwing, Lumina, Manuka and Airi, with support still being added through October 2026. ¥400 single, ¥1,000 full pack.

Gimmicks and Props — Spending Halloween Night

Gimmicks and tools rose from 13 in 2024 to 20, and props counted 21. If outfits and accessories change how you look, the four pieces in this chapter stay close to how you spend Halloween night: walking, startling, keeping company, handing things out.

Walking, startling

Halloween Step Effect / かるみゃ糖

An effect set that leaves patterned particles at your feet as you move and stretches lines of light from both feet. It was put out on October 24, 2025 by かるみゃ糖, who also appeared in the 2024 edition with a candy bucket and a pet ghost.

The patterns at your feet change randomly with every step: orange pumpkin faces, yellow crescent moons and pink and purple patterns stay behind like footprints, framed by squares of light. The trails from both feet become lines of light from purple to orange, and the two can be toggled separately from the menu. Without changing your outfit, just walking around a Halloween event world adds a seasonal feel. It doesn't support Quest standalone. ¥200.

HauntedMe / ghostnite

A horror particle gimmick that has you wear a scary mask and send scary effects flying at someone. ghostnite published it on October 3, 2025.

Look at someone, and palm-shaped markers float on the left and right of your view. Put both hands over them, and the masked ghost flies toward the other person, trailing black smoke and handprints. When you talk, a pale blue light also appears around the mask's eyes in time with lip sync. Since it triggers by bringing your hands together, you can play the scarer in a haunted-house game with your body's movements. Use in large instances or in ways that bother others is prohibited. PCVR only, ¥550.

Ghosts and sweets

Mofly / ARCA-WORKS

A follower pet: a fluffy, mysterious creature wearing a ghost costume that floats along after the player. It's ARCA-WORKS's first pet gimmick, and the description calls it "a design you can use not just for Halloween but as an everyday companion!"

Walk, and it floats along behind you; stand still, and it does all sorts of movements. You can also pinch it with one hand and lift it up. Another feature is that you can decorate Mofly by putting accessories you like in set positions, and updates added swirly eyes, dark pupils and a halo. The color variations include translucent orange and teal with a bat emblem. ¥800.

Halloween Sweets Set / おもちやさん

A set of 20 sweets: four kinds — poison apple, pumpkin donut, swirl candy and cupcake — in five colorways. It's by おもちやさん, who also appeared in the 2024 edition with a glowing magic wand.

The donut has a jack-o'-lantern face and the apple a skull face, and the cupcake is topped with spiderweb and bat cookies. The five colorways — two normal, two yume-kawaii and one monochrome — let you match your outfit's colors. Hold them, decorate a hat or hair with them, hang them from a collar or line them up in a world: these are Halloween sweets that fit any use. The four kinds range from △2,664 to △5,002. ¥600.

Price Distribution

Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.

By price, ¥1,000–1,999 holds the most at 104, followed by ¥500–999 at 99. ¥1–499 has 64 and 61 can be had for ¥0, so the bands under ¥1,000 add up to 224, about 65% of the total. In 2024 it was about 56%. ¥3,000 and above came to 2, down from 9 in 2024.

Top 10 Outfit Types

Outfit types bundled with these products.

By garment type, boots at 49, dresses at 38 and one-pieces at 36 lead. Compared with 2024, shorts rose from 7 to 19, pants from 7 to 13 and hooded pieces from 6 to 13. Street clothes like hoodies and pants, not just dresses and one-pieces, have come into Halloween outfits, and the garment types show it.

Notes from a creator's angle:

  1. Adding Halloween afterward — The #1 of all 343 was a hoodie published in June that gained a jack-o'-lantern texture on October 19. Rebel Rabbit added Halloween colors ten days after it was published, and LaceNekoHat added an October texture to a June follower gift. Besides building a seasonal piece from scratch, adding one layer of Halloween color to an existing popular piece was a way of releasing that lined up near the top.

  2. Under ¥1,000 is now two-thirds — 224 of the 343 cost under ¥1,000, and items available for ¥0 rose from 36 to 61. A ¥500 robe, a ¥200 bite gimmick and animation, a free nun's habit, witch hat and cloth-ghost avatar: the entry points for joining in by adding one thing to your usual edit have grown thicker.

  3. Halloween that starts from the head — #2 was short hair with swappable bandages, and #9 a free cat-eared lace hood. A cloth ghost above the head, a ghost in the bangs, candelabra horns: Halloween added to the hair and head runs from the top of the list to the bottom. The strength of things for the head is that they work with any outfit and layer easily onto any avatar's look.

  4. Transforming through behavior — Turning your body into a swarm of bats, biting at the neck, flying on a broom, drifting with your sleeves hanging, sending a ghost at someone. In 2025, gimmicks that sell only motion and effects, not looks, became costume material alongside outfits. Every one of them combines with outfits you already own.

  5. Worked on again the next Halloween — Vlad Tepes added flame materials in September 2026 with a call to "those who edited it last year," and Ghost Pirates added a gun and colorways on October 21, 2026, in an update "because it's Halloween again." With Darudaru Dragonia running through Christmas and New Year, and the Ghost Hair Accessory Set reaching Ver2 the following year, pieces that keep gaining content after release stand out.

Wrapping Up

If the 2024 edition summed up Halloween as moving costumes from "something to wear" to "something to play with," 2025 was the year that widened it into Halloween as something you add to what you already own. The #1 of all 343 was a black-and-white hoodie published in June that gained a jack-o'-lantern across its back in October, and #2 was a hairstyle whose bandage color you can change. A robe you just throw on, a hat you just put on, a ghost you pin in your bangs, nails that dye you from the elbow down: they stack up thickly between ¥0 and ¥1,000, so you can keep your usual avatar and clothes and take on a Halloween look for just that night.

What stayed with me beyond that were the creators who kept tending the Halloween they had added, into the following year. Vlad Tepes added flame materials in autumn 2026 with a call to "those who edited it last year," and Ghost Pirates, published a day late on November 1 because of an outage, added a gun and Halloween colors just ahead of Halloween exactly one year on. Each time October 31 comes around, Halloween gets added once more to an outfit already in hand. That accumulation is what made up the 343 items of 2025.

About the data

  • Aggregated: 2026-10-25
  • Scope: items published between 2025-01-01 and 2025-12-31 that carry the "Halloween" tag in VRCFinder's aggregation (343 items)
  • Ordering and selection: this is not a straight like-count ranking. Each subject mixes the most-liked staples with items that stood out as ideas. Because the Halloween tag is also applied to year-round motifs such as devils, gothic styles and ghosts, items with little connection to Halloween were left out of the selection
  • Comparison with 2024: the 2024 figures come from re-aggregating the items published in 2024 under the same conditions as 2025
  • Inclusion: VRCFinder's database only collects items with 300 or more likes, so anything below that threshold at aggregation time is not represented here
  • Note: the figures and like counts in this article are a snapshot from the aggregation date and do not reflect later changes. "Published" refers to when the Booth product page went live, which can differ from when the item actually went on sale
  • Specs and prices come from the Booth product pages as of writing. Sale prices and updates change, so please check the Booth page before buying
