Welcome to the Trending Snapshot — my weekly series that captures the Booth releases gaining likes the fastest, ranked by speed, not totals. When a new release takes off this quickly, there's always a reason. This series reads that reason from both sides — the work itself and how it was released — so you can walk away with hints for your own next creation.
At the top of the July 13, 2026 issue (aggregated July 13): a nine-tailed original avatar that reached 6,746 likes in three days — over 2,000 likes per day. Let's start there.
🔎 About this article A quick read for seeing, in one place, the new releases lots of people are watching right now. It sorts items published on Booth in the last three months with 300+ likes by likes-per-day pace (likes ÷ days since publishing), aggregated 2026-07-13. The ranking shifts a lot with VRCFinder's data-collection timing, so treat it as a rough guide — likes, giveaways and sales are all a snapshot of that moment, best used to browse what's trending.

This Week's Rising Top 10
Ranked by pace — likes at aggregation time divided by days since publishing — so a release that's only a day old can outrank items with far more total likes.
#1: Kaguya / IKUSIA
6,746 likes in three days, over 2,000 a day — the fastest pace of the week, and a new nine-tailed original avatar. A new release from IKUSIA — the creator behind the popular Rurune avatar — and Kaguya shares her base body with Mizuki and Rurune, so anyone already using those arrives knowing how the shape keys and outfits behave.
The tails live up to the name. You can dial the tail count from one to nine straight from the menu, and a float slider swings them up, down and sideways — 1–9 tails across three motion variants. Keep a single tail for everyday use, then fan out all nine for photos. The tails themselves ship in several textures too: fluffy, silky, jagged, and a faceted crystal version, so the same character can shift mood entirely.
The ears and tails are also wired to follow her expressions, and the shape key count runs to 777 on the face and 146 on the body. The outfit is a school look — black sailor collar, a red-violet bow, a cable-knit cardigan and a beret — with two cardigan variants, and the piece of fried tofu tucked in the pocket can be removed. ¥6,000 at list price.
#2: Summer Dew / #Relee
3,763 likes in two days. A new release from #Relee — the creator behind the popular Common Days outfit — this one pairs a sheer white camisole with drawstring shorts, a translucent shrug, an uchiwa fan and platform beach sandals.
What sets it apart is a gimmick that runs beads of sweat down the skin. Normally the heat of summer stops at textures — shading, a wet-looking sheen. Here the droplets themselves are animated, sliding down the chest, thighs and ankles. Combined with the electric fan and the wooden veranda in the product shots, the whole scene of cooling off on a midsummer afternoon comes together.
It covers 16 avatars including Mayo, Kumaly, Misaki, Mao, Shinano and Milltina, with a per-avatar shape key table laid out clearly. Fixes for mesh clipping and sleeve weights landed on each of the two days after release. List price is ¥1,490 for a single avatar and ¥3,790 for the full pack.
#3: 3rd PINK♡PUDDING / PINK♡PUDDING
13,834 likes in twelve days. I covered this one at #1 in the July 6, 2026 issue — PINK♡PUDDING's 3rd-anniversary outfit, a black zip-up hoodie layered with a necktie and harness belts, down to a backpack with a plush charm.
It has added roughly 1,000 likes since that issue and holds on at #3 as the pace settles.

#4: Sassy Neko / Nanaha
4,332 likes in four days. A new release from Nanaha — the creator behind the popular Dahlia_Hair — a light, forward-angled bob with thin strands trailing all the way down to the chest.
The clever part is that the sunglasses perched on top of the head are built into the hair itself. Normally eyewear is a separate purchase you then have to position and de-clip against your hair; this hair absorbs that whole step. The bangs use a see-through treatment so the eyes read through them, and shape keys switch the whole thing between three moods without changing hair.
It covers 11 avatars including Airi, Chocolat, Eku, Manuka and Mayo, at △28,543. Textures ship in both PSD and CLIP format for anyone repainting from scratch. At aggregation time it was in a release sale, stepping back up from its launch-day price in stages.
#5: Tsuruhane (Crane Wing) / RINNETOKYO
3,904 likes in four days. A new release from RINNETOKYO — the creator behind the popular Eye of the Moon Fox outfit — this time a Japanese-style set built on crane-feather motifs.
A black halter neck sits under a red-and-deep-green sash, butterfly and crane metalwork, and a tasseled obi ornament, with a white haori falling loosely over everything. White wings spread across the back, and a bangasa umbrella is included. The whole thing holds to black, white and vermilion, so the ornateness of Japanese dress and the sharpness of streetwear land in the same outfit.
The technical reach is in the arms: the haori sleeves move naturally thanks to Rotation Constraints, which is also why a current build of Modular Avatar is required. The hair was provided ahead of release by MOMORI and coordinated for the set. It covers 21 avatars including Shinano, Milltina, Airi and Manuka, at ¥2,000 for a single avatar and ¥4,000 for the full pack.
#6: Yobikomi-kun Official 3D Model / Virtual Market Official
2,185 likes in three days. This is Yobikomi-kun — the little white box speaker that stands in Japanese supermarkets chirping its jingle at shoppers. It's an official model, fully supervised by its manufacturer Gunma Denki, right down to the model-number label on the back.
The gimmicks trace the real device. It carries the familiar up-tempo "No.4" jingle and the bossa-nova "No.2", both playable from the menu, plus a toggle that makes it start up when touched, just like the real unit's motion sensor. Five POP panels — "Welcome", "Today's special!!", "Selling fast", "Limited edition!" and more — swap in and out, and the LEDs light up.
The package includes avatar and accessory prefabs plus an Udon gimmick for worlds. The product page's Q&A states plainly that using it as an avatar, perching it on your head, or placing it in a public world with the audio playing are all fine. △10,786 with a Performance Rank of good, at ¥980.

#7: Love Bite Sailor / mellowmare
3,120 likes in four days. A sailor-collared jacket in black and pink, a plaid bow, a pleated skirt, and a set of bat wings and horns for a little-devil look. mellowmare describes itself as a VRChat fashion brand built on "cuteness with a touch of darkness locked inside," and this outfit lands squarely in that lane.
The wings carry their own menu gimmicks: a slider shrinks them, and a toggle plays a single flap animation. A school bag with a little-devil plush charm comes in two sizes, along with asymmetric legwear — fishnets on one leg only — heart-shaped bandage decals, and an eye mask. That mask is set up with VRC Head Chop so it never blocks your own view while you wear it.
It covers 17 avatars including Shinano, Mayo, Kumaly and Milltina, at ¥2,000 for a single avatar and ¥4,000 for the full set. The product page also shows it coordinated with Nanaha's Cocoa_Hair.
#8: Fluffy Summer / Look at me!
7,934 likes in eleven days. I covered this at #2 in the July 6, 2026 issue — a halter-neck one-piece swimsuit paired with a cropped bolero.
It built its early speed on a free window that ran "until the creator wakes up," with no stated end time. Even back at full price, it holds on at #8.
#9: Pure Pony and Long Hair / GLAY Unknown
2,281 likes in three days. A new release from GLAY Unknown — the creator behind the popular Casual Short Neo Wolf hair — and as the name says, it's two hairstyles in one product: a ponytail and a long style.
The ponytail ties high with a large black ribbon, and the ends split into strands that fall past the waist. The long version leaves it all down, spreading across the back — the same flow work, an entirely different silhouette. Being able to pick "tied up today, down tomorrow" from a single purchase matters if you change hair often.
The recoloring approach is refreshingly blunt: change the main color on the white material and you have your color. Rather than picking from a preset list, you drag the color picker yourself. It covers 11 avatars including Mayo, Kumaly, Manuka, Chocolat, Airi and Shinano, at ¥990.
#10: Smoky Lips / EDEN Oasis
3,503 likes in five days. A new release from EDEN Oasis — the creator behind the popular Velvet Curse Dress — a red velvet mini dress under a black biker jacket, layered with silver chains, pitched firmly at streetwear.
The set includes the jacket, dress, inner top and bottom, choker, necklace, fingerless gloves, a leg harness, fishnets, lace-up knee boots and a pair of oversized headphones. The jacket and boots each burn 58,000 polygons, keeping the hardware thickness and the creases in the leather as real geometry rather than flattening them into texture. The night-city styling of the product page holds throughout, and it ships in red and black.
It covers 19 avatars including Shinano, Mayo, Milltina and Milfy, at ¥1,700 for a single avatar and ¥3,500 for the full set — with a note up front that the full set's price may change as more avatars are added.

Category Picks (Ranks 11–30)
The Top 10 inevitably leans toward whichever categories are running hottest, so here I work through ranks 11–30 by category. Hairstyles, avatars and props are fully represented by the Top 10 entries above, so this issue draws from the remaining four.
Outfits
17 of the rising 30 are outfits. What stands out here is that two releases target "Mamefriends" — the family of petite avatars that includes Kipfel and Mamehinata.
【RE】's "RE.Lunar Noir" is #24 (1,257 likes in two days). Thorn-like grunge print runs across a white hooded jacket and black baggy pants — the same world as RE.Cross Veil at #5 in the last issue, translated onto the Mamefriends proportions. It launched on a three-day free window as well, and by playing the same card twice in a row, 【RE】 put two releases inside the 30 at once.
The summer sets are arriving on those petite bodies too.
#POTATOTO's "TROPICAL Nyan Summer" is #30 (1,138 likes in two days). A navy one-shoulder swimsuit under a sheer white shirt, denim shorts and a cat-eared straw hat. What makes it more than a beach set is that the accessories actually move: the swim ring is summoned from the menu, its height and rotation are adjustable, and you can switch straight into a pose riding it. Hand the drink to the right hand and desktop mode raises the arm automatically; world-fix it and it stays put. Eleven colorways, ¥800.
Gimmicks & Tools
Three of the 30. One goes all in on a joke; the other chases fidelity.
Toron_'s "Bakunugi" is #12 (2,005 likes in three days). Clench both hands into fists and your outfit shatters off you in fragments. Setup is almost comically simple: point the Unity menu at your avatar and your outfit, hit generate, done — the tool handles all the mesh-splitting that would otherwise be manual work per outfit. The product page's own note ("please don't use this in ways that bother people") tells you the creator knows exactly where the joke lives. ¥200.
The other one raises how your avatar is rendered in the first place.
yumaro23's "SuperlilToon" is #21 (1,550 likes in three days). It's an unofficial extension shader for lilToon, the shader most of VRChat runs on. lilToon does a lot out of the box, but shadows in recessed areas — under the chin, in the folds where clothing overlaps — aren't its strength, and reaching for them usually means switching shaders or juggling several. SuperlilToon folds in SSAO (screen-space ambient occlusion, which derives shadow from scene depth) across four algorithms, plus matte skin, latex gloss, metallic surfaces and a second rim light, all in one. You can even aim shadow layers 1, 2 and 3 in different light directions for layered shading. ¥1,000 for the standard edition.
Accessories
Three of the 30 — a free giveaway and a pair of glasses built around lens color.
Radiant-iseoAC's "Radiant-Iseo Accessories 2026" is #18 (2,536 likes in five days). A necklace, earrings and ring set built on heart-cut gems with ribbons, released free as a recurring thank-you to the shop's supporters. As the year in the title suggests, this shop makes a habit of it, and the necklace ships with shape keys for fine positioning.
The other is a pair of glasses where the lens color is the whole point.
pontene's "Twilight Glasses" is #20 (1,351 likes in two days). Round frames with a gradient lens drawn from a dusk sky — and the product page states outright that the gradient was kept light so the lenses never overpower the face, which tells you most of what you need to know about the design intent. Lens and frame colors are freely changeable in lilToon, and an Expression menu slider adjusts how much the gradient glows, from natural daylight to something that catches neon at night. Built specifically for six avatars including Lapwing, Marycia, Shinano and Lowtus. ¥500.
Textures
A category that appears inside the 30 for the first time in this series.
GOYA SHOP's "Kagayaki Eye Texture" is #16 (1,586 likes in two days). Eighteen eye textures with starlight scattered through the iris. Eyes carry more of a face's impression than anything else, but painting your own means balancing three layers — the iris gradient, the highlights and the glow — which is not a casual afternoon's work. This drops into lilToon's 2nd/3rd main color slots, and the included emission mask makes the eyes glow in the dark. It covers 13 avatars including Chocolat, Mao, Misaki and Shidou, at ¥300 each or ¥1,000 for the full set. Komane and Selena, both covered in the last issue, are on the compatibility list too.

Inside the Rising 30
The population here is the rising 30 — items published within three months of the aggregation date, sorted by pace (the same 30 that appear on the site's trending page). Here's what that set says about the moment.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Population | Rising Top 30 (aggregated 2026-07-13) |
| Category split | Outfits 17 / Hairstyles 3 / Accessories 3 / Gimmicks & Tools 3 / Avatars 2 / Props 1 / Textures 1 |
| Median likes | 3,374 |
| Median price | ¥985 |
| Median days since publishing | 4 |
| Free releases | 7 |
| Published within a week | 20 of 30 |
| Turnover from last issue | 20 new / 10 carried over |
Twenty of the thirty are new entries this issue, and the median age is four days. The rising board really is a snapshot of what happened on Booth in the last few days.
Keywords: Free, Summerwear, and a Petite Body Family
Top 20 Keywords
Frequency of VRCFinder's own keyword tags — useful for spotting trending tastes and features.
Across the rising 30, the keyword tally leads with free (7), followed by lilToon support (4) and Modular Avatar support (3) on the setup side. On the content side, refined (3) and summerwear (3) come out on top. The wave of Japanese patterns and summer festivals that defined the last issue has receded, replaced by swimwear and sheer fabrics — summer itself rather than summer's rituals.
The tally worth pausing on is Mamefriends (2). That's the family of petite avatars represented by Kipfel and Mamehinata, and it maps to the two outfits above. While Shinano and Milltina and the other tall standards dominate compatibility lists, a body family with completely different proportions is holding its own slots on the rising board — a fresh movement in this issue.
Supported Models: Shinano Appears in 19 of 30
Top 10 Supported Models
Distribution of supported avatar models.
Among the rising 30, the most-supported avatars are Shinano (19), Chocolat (17), Milltina (17) and Milfy (16). It's much the same lineup as the last issue, and the pattern holds: the faster a release rises, the more likely it shipped with day-one support for the popular avatars. Manuka (15), Airi (15) and Chiffon (14) follow, meaning more than half the top ten avatars can wear the same outfit. Compatibility lists really do work as a mirror of which avatars people are actually using.
Prices: Seven Free Releases and a ¥1,000 Core
Price Distribution
Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.
The ¥1,000–1,999 band holds 10 items, followed by free with 7 and ¥500–999 with 7. The median lands at ¥985, essentially where the last issue sat.
Look at what those seven free releases actually are: a 3rd anniversary (#3), an official event collab (#15), a recurring thank-you giveaway (#18). Nearly half of them rose not because they were free, but because the reason for giving them away came attached. The two 【RE】 outfits in the Outfits section ran on a three-day window. It isn't the price of zero that moves the needle — it's whether you designed why, and until when.
Release Playbooks from a Creator's Perspective
The rising board reflects how something was brought to market more sharply than any other ranking. Here are four repeatable plays from this issue's Top 30.
Creator takeaways:
- Years of accumulated work convert directly into launch speed — Seven of the Top 10 come from creators with a 10,000-like release behind them in the same category. IKUSIA at #1 has Rurune and Mao; Nanaha at #4 has Dahlia_Hair; GLAY Unknown at #9 has a long numbered run of hair releases. Having people already waiting for your next release is what day-one growth is made of. There's no shortcut into that group — it's what years of shipping one piece at a time buys you.
- Open the product page before you go on sale — Love Bite Sailor at #7 opened its page on July 9 and went on sale at 17:00 on the 11th. Smoky Lips at #10 opened on the 8th and launched at 16:00 on the 10th. Both ran giveaway campaigns on X in parallel, landing all the demand at the moment of release. An early page lets you bank likes and follows before launch, and it gives people a time to show up for.
- Step your sale price back up to list — Tsuruhane at #5 published a schedule that climbs back in three stages ("one day only" → "day two" → "one week"), and Sassy Neko at #4 runs two steps up from its launch-day price. This is the same pattern seen at #3 and #9 in the last issue, now clearly established: giving buyers more than one deadline keeps both the launch spike and the weeks after it alive.
- Ship the same world twice and lift both — 【RE】 followed RE.Cross Veil (#5 last issue) with RE.Lunar Noir, carrying the same thorn print onto the Mamefriends bodies and launching it on a three-day free window — putting two releases inside the 30 at once. Release the next piece of a world while the first is still climbing, and everyone who finds one finds the other.

Summary
Lining up this issue's Top 10, what surfaces is that rising happens less on "nice to meet you" than on "thanks for waiting." Seven of the ten creators have already put a 10,000-like release into the world in the same category. The nine-tailed avatar at #1 hit 6,700 likes in three days precisely because so many people already own that base body and were waiting for the next one. Opening the page before launch, stepping the price back to list, shipping the next piece of the same world — every play at the top assumes there is already someone waiting.
Against all that, the officially licensed store speaker at #6 is the odd one out. Someone took a real object from outside VRChat, secured the manufacturer's supervision, and carried it in — model-number label on the back, chirping when you touch it, exactly like the real unit. That scrupulousness is what pushed it onto the rising board. In a ranking where accumulation pays, a completely new door can still open. Both were sitting in the same 30 this week.

About the data
- Aggregated: 2026-07-13
- Target: items published on Booth between 2026-04-13 and 2026-07-13 (2,336 items)
- Ranking basis: likes ÷ days since publishing (with a 3-day floor for very fresh releases), in descending order — a ranking of how fast likes are gathering, not cumulative totals. It uses the same calculation as the site's trending page
- How "days since publishing" is counted: against VRCFinder's data-collection time (the aggregation date), not Booth's own display
- The ranking is a rough guide: it shifts a lot with collection timing. It's not meant as a competitive leaderboard, but as a way to see which new releases lots of people are watching right now
- Inclusion: VRCFinder's database only collects items with 300+ likes, so items below that threshold at aggregation time are not included
- Note: all figures and ranks are a snapshot as of the aggregation date and will differ from current values. "Published" refers to when the Booth product page went public
- Giveaways, prices and sales are as of the aggregation date. Limited-time giveaways and sales may have ended by the time you read this — please check the Booth page before purchasing
