Here's my look back at the 10 most-liked outfits published on Booth in May 2026, data included. What stood out this month, beyond the garments themselves, was how many creators designed the release itself — giveaways, launch events, and bundles all built into the plan.

It landed at #7 (6,046 likes at aggregation time).

The range of combinations is wide: the hoodie comes in 16 variations spanning plain, all-over print, and foil versions, the sandals in 11 materials, and the shorts in 3 damage levels. The hoodie itself carries shape keys, so you can push the silhouette looser or tighter. A gray-base PSD makes retexturing easy.

Support centers on Shinano, Manuka, and Milltina, and a post-release update added Misaki for a total of 17 avatars. The creator also kept polishing fast — clipping and weight fixes landed repeatedly within days of the May 1 release. The price is ¥1,300 for a single avatar and ¥3,400 for the full pack.

#8: Chilloom Wear / salmona mignon

An A-line mini one-piece with a white sailor collar and an oversized ribbon at the chest. A wide-brim straw hat, a vanity-style ribbon bag, and a lace eyepatch all match the dress color — a sweet summer coordinate down to the last piece. It landed at #10 (5,684 likes at aggregation time).

Its strength is sheer volume of colors and patterns. Solids, gingham, tartan, and even lemon and cherry prints bring the color variations to 25, and the chest ribbon recolors independently via mask — so pattern-times-ribbon combinations multiply the looks almost endlessly.

The small pieces are carefully built too: the straw hat and lace eyepatch carry fitting shape keys and bones so they sit right on each avatar's head. The ribbon wedge sandals come in 6 colors. The median sits at 943 likes and the average at 1,605. Melty Calling pulls ahead at 11,275 likes, with two items in the 10,000-like class and a thick band continuing down through the 5,000s. The median price of ¥1,200 edged back up from April's ¥1,000 while staying easy to reach. Top 10 avatar support ranges from 10 to 25 bodies, averaging about 18.

Supported Models: Shinano, Milltina, and Manuka Stay on Top

Shinano leads with 194 items, followed by Milltina at 152 and Manuka at 144 — the same big three as April. Chocolat (131), Milfy (127), Airi (125), Mayo (116), Rurune (108), Lumina (106), and Eku (105) round out the top ten.

Just outside the Top 10, one item stood out for the breadth of its support.

Aoi Kiba by MINUÉL is a Japanese-gothic swordfighter coordinate: a jet-black kimono with blue accents and butterfly motifs. The katana ships as prefabs in both gimmick and non-gimmick versions, and support runs to 23 avatars, from Shinano and Manuka to Misaki. At 5,553 likes at aggregation time, it pressed right up against the tenth spot.

Outfit Types: Shorts and Shirts Neck-and-Neck, Bikinis Climbing

The top outfit types are a tight cluster: shorts at 38, shirts at 37, skirts at 35, dresses at 35, and pants at 33. The eye-catcher is bikinis at 31 — now level with one-piece dresses at 31 — and together with Adrian-Bikini at #4 and Mizu_Muse at #5, the summer-ahead swimwear wave is unmistakable. Keyword counts back it up, with "summer clothes" at 26 and "swimsuit" at 22.

Taste: Casual and Sexy in a Dead Heat

The top tastes are casual at 84, sexy at 80, cool at 66, girly at 65, and street at 64. Casual and sexy run practically even, and the Top 10 mirrors both camps — loungewear like SERENE at #3 and Chilloom Wear at #8 on one side, swimwear like Adrian-Bikini at #4 on the other.

For a sharp cyber-tech entry outside the Top 10, this one caught my eye.

Venom Umbra by CYCR (Cyber Critter) is a cyberpunk coordinate pairing a translucent yellow raincoat with a gas mask and a black bodysuit. It belongs to the shop's signature hair-included outfit series, so a matching hairstyle comes in the box and the look is complete the moment you buy it. CYCR took #1 in my April report and kept shipping new work through May — momentum that's hard to miss.

Colors: White and Black Rule

The color spread is white at 158, black at 156, pink at 41, gray at 37, and red at 31. White and black tower over everything else, the same monochrome-heavy picture as April.

For black worked into a matching his-and-hers look, this one also arrived in May.

Hiss 503 by murr combines a grunge-textured knit with distressed denim for a vintage street style. It's the third entry in the shop's "hiss" line, and it fits both feminine and masculine bodies, so you and a friend can stand side by side in the same mood. Support covers 22 avatars from Shinano and Minase to Misaki and Linne. Pricing steps from ¥1,900 for a single avatar through ¥3,200 for a men's or women's full set to ¥4,200 for everything.

Included Accessories: Ribbons Lead, Hats and Bags Follow

The most common accessories bundled with outfit sets are ribbons at 44, chokers at 37, hats at 29, bags at 25, and belts at 24. Ribbons on top tracks with the depth of girly designs. The strength of hats and bags reflects sets like the straw hat and vanity bag at #10 or the school bag at #2 — outfits that finish the look with belongings, not just clothes.

For a piece where a big waist ribbon plays the lead, take this one.

Sunny Blossom Set by NANAMO pairs an off-shoulder blouse with denim for a sweet summer setup. A big waist ribbon and puff sleeves carry the girly side, while 19 supported avatars and a full 19-color range make it easy to slot into whatever coordinate you already have.

Prices: About 60% Land in the ¥1,000–1,999 Band

The price spread: 14 free items, 7 at ¥1–499, 65 at ¥500–999, 179 at ¥1,000–1,999, 20 at ¥2,000–2,999, 5 at ¥3,000–4,999, and 1 at ¥5,000+. The ¥1,000–1,999 band leads with 179 items (about 62%), and the two bands from ¥500 to ¥1,999 hold about 84% of everything. Free items dropped to 14 from April's 19 — yet with Melty Calling on top, milestone giveaways loom larger than ever.

In the ¥500–999 band, this one wore summer best.

Sharky Summer by Koukla is a shark-themed summer bikini set. Two palettes, white and black, come with wide-brim hats topped by little shark and orca mascots and a watermelon net bag — one purchase makes any ocean-world photo shoot instantly livelier. It supports 11 avatars including Shinano and Milltina, at ¥990 per avatar or ¥1,500 for the full pack.

Much of the Top 10 was thought through all the way to the delivery.
