[August 31, 2026] VRChat Trending Snapshot — This Week's Fastest-Rising on Booth

Every week, this "Trending Snapshot" captures the newest Booth releases pulling in likes the fastest, ranked by how quickly those likes pile up. When something climbs this fast, there's always a reason behind it — and reading that reason from both the work itself and the way it was released is what this weekly report is for. It's written for creators, to send you home with a hint for your next project.

The August 31, 2026 issue (measured August 31) is led by an avatar dressed in gold ornaments, built around the premise that whatever she touches turns to gold. Two days after release, she had 5,746 likes. Let's start there.

This Week's Top 10

This is a momentum ranking — likes at measurement time, divided by days since release. It's not ordered by total likes, so even brand-new releases climb to the top if they're gaining fast.

#1: Bewitching Midaris / KUROMARU9

5,746 likes two days after release. An original avatar built whole around one premise: a girl who turns everything she touches to gold. A new release from KUROMARU9 — the creator behind the popular avatar "Bishonure no Shizuku-san."

A gold crown-like ornament and black horns sit on her head. The hem of her white dress pools at the floor in layers of pale-purple frills, her fingertips are dipped partway in gold, and a gold ornament shaped like hands wraps around her neck. The "touch her and turn to gold" premise runs through every corner of the design.

The build is aimed squarely at photography. A gimmick to lock expressions and another to control eye direction come built in, and a custom lilToon shader has the shadow colours and hair highlights pre-tuned. Original motions — locomotion, AFK, sitting — are included too. Polygons run to about 145,000 with a Performance Rank of Very Poor, and a base body model is part of the package.

List price is ¥10,000. On the same page sits a MochiFitter conversion profile as a ¥0 option, covering both directions: fitting other avatars' outfits onto Midaris, and fitting her outfit onto other avatars.

#2: Late Morning / ParfaIt

5,300 likes three days after release. An outfit that looks like a lazy morning caught mid-frame — a single oversized shirt. A new release from ParfaIt, the creator behind "Bubble Sailor," which took #3 in the August 10 issue.

A shirt slipping off the shoulders, black lace underwear, and a necktie. The tie can be held in the mouth from the menu. Fabrics come in four families — white, black, light blue, and pink — in plain, plaid, small-print, and stripe versions.

The heart of this outfit is that it responds to hands. The shirt front, the button area, even the underwear open or come away when grabbed and pulled, so how the outfit sits is decided by hand. The menu also bundles per-garment ON/OFF toggles and a switch to disable the undressing PhysBones.

Upload size is 18.9 MB. It supports 22 avatars — Manuka, Shinano, Milltina, Kaguya, Misaki and more — each with its own set of body shape keys assigned. List price is ¥990 single / ¥2,490 full pack, and at measurement time an event sale ran until September 5.

#3: Moonlight Post / Tsucchii

4,160 likes two days after release. A mail-carrier uniform for postal workers of the moonlit night, released by Tsucchii for the small Mamefriends and Emoken base bodies.

A peaked cap with an envelope badge, a uniform with gold buttons, and a satchel stuffed full of letters. The letters can be grabbed via PhysBones, so a scene of delivering mail under the moonlight comes together as-is. Sneakers dotted with moons and stars and a star-chart hairpin round out the set.

The uniform comes in navy, wine red, and white. The Mamefriends version is fitted to Kipfel and the Emoken version to Azuki, with the tail-band assumptions spelled out for each. It installs with lilToon and Modular Avatar.

List price is ¥800 for each version, or ¥1,100 for the set covering both — and at measurement time it was being given away free for a limited window ending September 1. Alongside it sits a ¥100 option with identical contents, labelled "buy Tsucchii a coffee."

#4: Fallen_Servant / EdgeMode

6,233 likes five days after release. A dark maid outfit finished with devil horns and bat wings. A new release from EdgeMode, the creator behind the popular outfit "Lilith Vice."

A corseted dress with a frilled apron, garters, bat wings large and small, and a devil tail. The headband comes in two versions — bunny ears or horns — so the look swings between bunny and little devil. The skirt also comes in two shapes.

There are eleven colourways, from the classic white-on-black through all-black, all-white, light blue, mocha, and wine red. It supports 22 avatars — Shinano, Milltina, Mayo, Kaguya and more — each with its own body shape keys. Some decorative parts use a constraint setting that needs switching off temporarily when resizing, and the page walks through that.

List price is ¥1,800 single / ¥3,600 full pack; at measurement time a launch sale had them at ¥700 and ¥990.

#5: Penguin Robe / SILVER CAT

5,106 likes six days after release. A penguin robe you pull on over everything, head first. A new release from SILVER CAT — the creator behind the popular outfit "ITACHIHOLIC" — published as a free giveaway marking 7,000 followers on X.

Only the face peeks out from inside the beak-framed hood; everything else disappears into one round silhouette. Line up next to a friend and you have a penguin colony on the spot.

The way it's given away is unusual too. The product page says you may modify it as much as you like, and redistribution is allowed. On Booth, where no-redistribution is the default, this is a commemorative gift designed to keep travelling — from one person's hands, altered, into someone else's.

#6: Komaru-Hair / MOMORI

4,388 likes five days after release. A shortish hairstyle that comes as a set with fluffy drooping dog ears, a tail, and round glasses. A new release from MOMORI, whose "Kitsune-Miko" led the August 17 issue.

A low-tied bundle at the back, long front strands swept around the face. A tail accessory decorated with braided cord and red beads, hairpins, and tassel earrings are all included — pieces that sit naturally with Japanese-style outfits.

It supports 25 avatars, and beyond the regulars — Shinano, Chocolat, Milltina — eight of the names are masculine or androgynous builds: Komano, Kanata, Nakiya, Minase, Kirisame and more. The same hair is built to sit on feminine and masculine avatars alike.

Polygons run to about 18,500 for the hair and 8,173 for the ears and tail. Colours spread across three sheets to nearly 40 combinations, from silver-white and black through gold and two-tone mixes, with an editing PSD included. List price is ¥900; at measurement time it was on sale at ¥500, with an identical supporter edition at ¥600.

#7: Micro_Bikini / MB

2,340 likes three days after release. A cow-print micro bikini set with an ears-and-horns headband and a belled collar, released by MB.

The set runs to long gloves and thigh-high boots, and stays light at 53,420 triangles across five materials. Patterns come in nine versions — five cow-print colours plus white and black in plain and print. It supports eight avatars: Milltina, Shinano, Airi, Mayo, Plum, Chocolat, Chiffon, and Lime.

The release plan is the bold part. On launch day, August 28, a free-download window opened from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. — one hour. The free windows this series has tracked have been shrinking issue by issue, but this is the first to be measured in hours. ¥490 single / ¥990 full set.

#8: Desire Dance / CYCR

2,424 likes three days after release. An oriental outfit with hair included, styled after a dancer of the desert night. A new release from CYCR (Cyber Critter), the creator behind the popular outfit "Midnight Fox 2.0."

Fox ears and a large tail, a coin-fringe veil across the mouth, a gold collar and shoulder pieces. A gold serpent ornament runs down the spine, and a coin-strung drape sways at the hips. A braided long hairstyle is sold on the same page, in fourteen colours.

The outfit comes in eight colourways, from black and crimson to white-and-gold and a green matched to tan skin. Polygons run to 159,249 for the outfit and 70,529 for the hair. It supports 20 avatars, and a dedicated preview world in VRChat lets you see the real thing before buying.

List price is ¥1,400 for the outfit, ¥700 for the hair, and ¥3,400 for the full set with hair; at measurement time a launch sale ran until September 4. At #23 this issue sits a free version of the scimitar cut out from this outfit — covered in the Props section below.

#9: GateCostumeChanger / Hobohyakuen Shop

2,218 likes three days after release. A gimmick that swaps your outfit when you walk through a gate, released by Hobohyakuen Shop.

Changing outfits in VRChat normally means opening the menu and picking an entry. This gimmick replaces that with the physical act of walking through a gate. The outfit changes the instant you pass through, so a magical-girl-style transformation plays out right in front of whoever's watching.

And it isn't only the outfit. Shape keys switch at the same time, so you can emerge with a different body shape altogether. A bundled setup tool takes outfit A and outfit B and handles the configuration; some lilToon variant shaders are listed as unsupported.

The full version is ¥700. A 24-hour free window offered the then-current build to keep — with updates reserved for the paid version.

#10: Beach Maid Cafe / #Relee

2,891 likes four days after release. A swimsuit-maid outfit that opens an entire seaside maid café. A new release from #Relee, the creator behind the popular outfit "Common Days."

The outfit itself is a maid headdress and collar, a frilled bikini, a waist apron, and garters. Add the separate Café Gimmick Pack and you get a parasol table, a menu board, and food and drinks you can pick up and carry. Take an order by checking the menu with a pen, serve it on a tray, feed someone with a fork — the whole café exchange plays out in sequence.

The details go deep: you can draw on the omurice in ketchup. Part of the table set can be placed in worlds, so you can open a little café of your own on the beach. Because of VRChat's sync behaviour, the gimmicks are designed mainly around what the user themselves sees, as the page notes.

It supports 19 avatars, centred on Mayo, Kaguya, Milltina, and Shinano. List price is ¥1,390 for the outfit, ¥1,190 for the gimmick pack, and ¥3,450 for the full pack; at measurement time an open sale ran until August 31.

Category Picks (#11–#30)

The Top 10 turned over completely this issue, but there are new faces below it too. The three avatars (#11 Melvii, #24 Neru, #27 Kaguya) and two gimmicks (#16 Mucho, #20 Bero Ugokashi) are all holdovers covered in earlier issues, so they sit this one out.

Outfits

Fourteen of the thirty risers are outfits, and seven of those were covered in the Top 10. From #11 down, here are three pointing in different directions.

First, a new entry in black.

BOUTIQUE SERINA's "Rosée Noire" is #13 (2,976 likes, five days after release). A classical black dress layered with rose-patterned lace, finished with a mini hat and long boots.

Three belts line the corset, and the stockings carry a sheer rose mesh. Beyond black there are eight colourways including white, champagne, and brown, swinging the mood a long way without changing the shape. Polygons run to 154,964, and it supports 19 avatars — Shinano, Mayo, Kumaly, Kaguya and more. The page opened early on August 26, with sales starting at 4 p.m. on the 28th. List price is ¥1,600 single / ¥3,200 full set; at measurement time a sale ran until September 4.

Next, a new release from a shop that makes only denim.

LOOSE END.'s "Cherish Denim" is #21 (3,240 likes, seven days after release). From a denim-only shop flying the banner "DENIM FOR AVATARS," this is a loose denim set accented with cherries and gingham check.

Both long and short lengths are included, plus a jacket, a logo cap, a phone, and hip chains — 19 parts totalling just 71,044 triangles. The denim comes in blue and black, with accent colours on the cap, laces, and sneakers in five shades. It supports 20 avatars — Shinano, Mayo, Kumaly and more — and the list also carries SiuSiu and Lapwing. List price is ¥1,500 single / ¥3,000 full set; at measurement time an open sale ran until September 2.

Third, a set that brings its own vehicles and a companion.

TUMEKIRIYA's "NITE;PULSE" is #22 (1,632 likes, four days after release). Black-based near-future techwear that bundles a hologram-key-summoned bike, a surfboard, a snowboard, and a manta-ray companion called MANTAMAN — a set built to play with in any season.

Summer runs on the swimsuit and surfboard, winter on long trousers and the snowboard, with about 60 pre-configured outfit prefabs across colours and combinations. The vehicles are driven by hand gestures and menus, and their visuals and sound effects are visible to other players. Support is broad at 37 avatars, including Mamefriends-type and masculine builds. List price is ¥2,000 per avatar / ¥3,800 for the all-avatar full pack; at measurement time a launch sale ran until August 31. A free option collecting just the drink props sits on the same page.

Hairstyles

Six of the thirty risers are hairstyles. After #6 Komaru-Hair, here are two new entries — #19 Messy Side Pony Hair and #26 Kitsune-Miko were covered in earlier issues.

First, the new face that came closest to the Top 10.

4o4o's "Mellow Side Tail" is #12 (1,871 likes, three days after release). A side-tail hairstyle whose high-tied bundle falls in loose waves.

A ribbon sits at the tie, with small hairpins shaped like a treble clef and little birds. Colours cover solid shades plus mixes with contrasting tips and inner colour. The shape keys include an entry that adjusts the side hair to chest size, and front, side, and back lengths can each be tuned separately. It supports eight avatars — Airi, Chocolat, Kumaly, Manuka, Mayo, Milfy, Milltina, and Shinano — at ¥860.

The other pick entered the chart before its release date.

Ennuiproof's "Fluffy Dragon Half Twin" is #30 (1,606 likes, four days after release). A half-twin hairstyle with dragon horns and beast ears — and only the product page opened on August 27; sales start September 4 at 5 p.m. At measurement time it was still marked outside its sales period, with over 1,600 likes already gathered.

Support covers 13 avatars: Sio, Milltina, Rurune, Airi, and Shinano, plus Azamisan, NEW-Chan, Komane, Lapwing, and Liloumois — names from outside the usual list. Each avatar gets its own colourway, hair and horns matched to the character. The full set is ¥1,000, with a free accessories-only version announced for launch.

Animations

An animation in the top thirty is a face this series hasn't seen in recent issues.

Here is a large pose library that grew out of a daily greeting.

Isuta's "Ohatsui Pose Set Vol.1~49" is #14 (1,614 likes, two days after release). A pose library built up for morning-greeting posts on X, released free — Vol.1 through 49 all at once.

The poses are ANIM files built on the Mamehinata base, and the title carries the number: 341 poses. Poses made bit by bit for a daily photo, turned into a public asset in one release — with individual commercial use permitted. For anyone shooting morning greetings or group photos with small avatars, this is a ready-made toolbox.

Accessories

One accessory made the thirty — a tentacle that never stops moving.

Komorebi no Shoko's "Wriggling and Moving! Plump Tentacles" is #15 (1,577 likes, two days after release). A thick, plump tentacle with a built-in wriggling animation. It attaches to any avatar by dropping the prefab under it with Modular Avatar.

There are 26 materials, from soft white-and-purple through red-on-black to a graffiti splatter. Shape keys swap the sucker markings between plus, minus, and diamond shapes, and it works draped across the back like wings or perched on the head. Smooth motion takes priority, so polygons total about 163,000 — the page suggests reducing them with a tool if needed. ¥1,000.

Props

Last, a single curved blade cut out of the #8 outfit.

CYCR (Cyber Critter)'s "Desire Scimitar" is #23 (1,457 likes, three days after release). The scimitar bundled with Desire Dance at #8, cut out as a free version in a single colour. At measurement time it was being given away for a three-day window ending August 31.

A jewelled gold hilt and a deeply curved blade. After the giveaway ends, the page notes, the prop remains available inside the Desire Dance bundle. A free piece that earns a shop follow and leads back to the main outfit — the CYCR pattern this series has tracked since the July 20 issue, showing up this week as simultaneous entries at #8 and #23.

Reading the Rising Set

The population here is the rising Top 30 — items released within the last three months, ranked by momentum, the same thirty that appear on the site's trending page. Here's what's inside.

Twenty-one of the thirty are new entries this issue, and twenty-one were released within the past week. And all ten of the Top 10 are new — Mucho, which had held a Top 10 spot for four straight issues, slipped to #16, and the entire upper board turned over.

Keywords: outfits now bring the whole game of pretend

In the keyword tally across the thirty, PSD Included leads for the second straight issue at nine items, with MMD Compatible, Free, and Revealing at three each, and Little Devil, MochiFitter Compatible, and Editor Extension among those at two.

What stands out more than the numbers is what the top risers bundle. Moonlight Post at #3 carries letters you can grab and hand over; Beach Maid Cafe at #10 packs the entire café workflow from order-taking to ketchup art. NITE;PULSE in the outfit picks brings a bike and a manta companion, and GateCostumeChanger at #9 turned the act of changing clothes itself into a game of walking through a gate.

The August 10 issue noted that top outfits were each arriving with one thing you could do on the spot. This issue reads like the sequel: from a single action to a full kit for playing a role or a scene. A week when outfits started being chosen not just for how they look, but for what they let you become.

Supported models: Kaguya joins the top ten

The most-supported names were Shinano at 18, then Mayo, Manuka, and Milltina at 16 each, with Chocolat, Milfy, and Rurune at 15 and Airi at 14. And Kaguya, 52 days after release, drew level with Eku at 13 and put her name into the top ten of the tally. Eleven in the August 10 issue, twelve on August 17, thirteen now — an avatar that appeared mid-summer has walked straight into the "support by default" tier.

At the same time, support kept reaching outside the list. Eight of Komaru-Hair's 25 avatars are masculine or androgynous builds; NITE;PULSE covers 37; Cherish Denim's 20 include SiuSiu and Lapwing. And the pre-release Fluffy Dragon Half Twin is aimed at 13 avatars — Azamisan, Komane and others — who barely appear in this tally at all. Riding the standard group, and counting the avatars outside it from day one: both moves sat side by side this week.

Price: a ¥10,000 avatar on top, and a one-hour free window

The volume zone is ¥1,000–1,999 with eleven items, then ¥500–999 with eight, four free items, and three at ¥5,000 or above. The median is ¥1,000, down slightly from ¥1,100 in the August 24 issue.

All three items at ¥5,000+ are avatars: Midaris at ¥10,000 on top, Kaguya at ¥6,000 at #27, Melvii at ¥5,500 at #11. Meanwhile Neru at #24 is ¥350 — within the single category of avatars, list prices now stretch from ¥350 to ¥10,000.

The four free items each have a different character: Penguin Robe is a follower-milestone gift, Moonlight Post a giveaway with a dated window, Ohatsui Pose Set a personal archive made public, Desire Scimitar an entrance to a bundle. On top of those come Micro_Bikini's one-hour free window and GateCostumeChanger's 24-hour one. The August 17 issue tracked free windows shrinking from three days to one; this issue they reached the scale of hours. As always, every price and sale here is a snapshot from the measurement date, and most are time-limited.

Wrap-up

The thing that stood out most this issue was that all ten Top 10 spots changed hands. This was a week when outfits carried not just a look you might want, but a scene you might want to play. And at the front of it all stood a girl who turns whatever she touches to gold — a fitting leader for a week where works were handed over with their stories attached.
