[July 27, 2026] VRChat Trending Snapshot — This Week's Fastest-Rising on Booth

Every week, this "Trending Snapshot" captures the newest Booth releases pulling in likes the fastest, ranked by how quickly those likes pile up. When something climbs this fast, there's always a reason behind it — and reading that reason from both the work itself and the way it was released is what this weekly report is for. It's written for creators, to send you home with a hint for your next project.

The July 27, 2026 issue (measured July 27) is led by an outfit built around a CRT-monitor head and an oversized jacket. Three days after release it had gathered 6,246 likes, climbing at roughly 2,000 likes a day. Let's start there.

🔎 About this article This is a quick digest of the new releases a lot of people are watching right now. It lists items released on Booth within the last three months with 300+ likes, ordered by how fast those likes accumulate (likes ÷ days since release; measured 2026-07-27). Rankings shift a lot depending on when VRCFinder collects data, so treat them as a rough guide. Like counts, giveaways, and sales are all snapshots from the measurement date — use this as a window onto what's new and talked-about.

This Week's Top 10

This is a momentum ranking — likes at measurement time, divided by days since release. It's not ordered by total likes, so even brand-new releases climb to the top if they're gaining fast.

#1: Off-Air / CYCR

6,246 likes three days after release. A hair-included outfit built around a creature head — a CRT monitor worn as a head — paired with an oversized jacket. It's a new release from CYCR (Cyber Critter), the creator behind "Silent Code," which took #2 in last issue (July 20, 2026), and it runs on the same idea of walking through a collapsed broadcast city.

Noise runs across the monitor's screen, and thick cables hang from the back in a bundle, like hair. The jacket drops off the shoulders in a loose silhouette, layered with a harness, belts, and platform boots, with a T-shirt and bikini underneath. Swap the creature head for the included hair, and you can wear the same outfit with an ordinary face.

It covers 20 avatars, at △143,675 for the outfit and △14,228 for the hair. The monitor head ships with the outfit, so the product page notes that picking the hair on its own won't include it. There's a dedicated preview world to try the whole thing in. List prices are ¥1,600 for the outfit alone, ¥2,900 for the outfit full set, and ¥3,400 for the full set with hair; at measurement time it was on a launch sale.

PV by CYCR

#2: Lazy Day / DD closet

5,362 likes two days after release. Loungewear for lazing around indoors, pairing an off-shoulder sweatshirt with shorts. It's the first outfit DD closet has released for free, with a line on the product page reading "on hot days, nothing beats lazing around in a cool room."

Sleeves slipping off the shoulders, a cropped top pulled up at the waist, loose shorts, and leg warmers bunched at the ankles. On top of that comes a sleep mask with cat ears, embroidered with the shop's name. It's a lazy day off, turned straight into a set of clothes.

It comes in 8 colors including gray, black, navy, pink, orange, and mint. It covers 10 avatars, with the supported range of each avatar's chest shape keys laid out in a table. At △101,190 with a single material and no 4K textures, nothing about the build was loosened just because it's free — and that's part of why it climbed this fast.

#3: THX 4th Hair / GLAY Unknown

3,962 likes three days after release. Twin tails with softly curled tips, finished with black ribbons and a headband. It's a new release from GLAY Unknown, the creator who keeps putting out numbered hairstyles including "Pure Pony and Long Hair," which took #9 in the July 13 issue — and as the "THX" in the name suggests, it was released as a thank-you to buyers.

Tied high, the twin tails draw gentle waves as they fall past the waist. The bangs are see-through at the eyes, and shape keys adjust the length and volume of the tails right down to the shape of the ahoge.

Recoloring takes a pared-down approach: you swap the main color on the white material, so instead of picking from a list of variations, you make whatever shade you want. It covers 10 avatars including Mayo, Kumaly, Moe, Manuka, and Chocolat, at a list price of ¥950.

#4: Kaguya -kaguya- / IKUSIA

15,475 likes seventeen days after release. IKUSIA's nine-tailed original avatar, which had held first place for two straight weeks through last issue (July 20). Its tail count can be set anywhere from one to nine from the menu.

It added roughly another 2,200 likes since last issue, but with more days behind it, the per-day pace eased and it settled at #4. At measurement time its launch sale had ended and it was back at its ¥6,000 list price.

#5: KITTEN PACK / Mochiyama Kingyo

3,702 likes four days after release. A free accessory set for Kipfel, pairing a frilled baby cap with a carton of cat milk. Mochiyama Kingyo released it to mark Kipfel's anniversary.

The baby cap comes with animation set up, so the cat ears move along with facial expressions. Hide the cap and you get a droopy-eared Kipfel instead. The cat milk goes further: hold it and it overrides only the mouth expression, so the straw follows the mouth's position while your mouth moves as you speak. Holding a drink and talking at the same time is built right in.

The baby cap comes in 7 colors at △9,494, and the cat milk in 4 varieties at △992. The cartons are even printed with labels like "for kittens" and "for young cats" — the detail on a single small prop runs all the way down.

#6: Real Sweat System / cooki

2,997 likes four days after release. A general-purpose system that adds real-time sweat and wet skin to an avatar.

Expressing heat or exertion in VRChat normally means swapping in a texture with sweat painted on, or preparing an outfit with a wet look built in. Either way it's hard to capture "wet right now," and neither can show the flow of time — sweating, then gradually drying off.

This system lets you dial sweat from 0 to 100% from the menu, and in auto mode the sweat builds as your body moves and dries away once you stop. Sweat runs down the skin with gravity; droplets that fall leave wet marks on the floor, steam rises off the body, and breath shows at the mouth.

Setup is a matter of selecting the avatar and Body from a Unity menu and pressing a button — no per-avatar package required. It comes in three configurations: the Base Module for sweat alone, the Effects Module for droplets and steam, and the Full Pack with both. List prices are ¥980 for the Full Pack and ¥580 per module (on sale at measurement time). Quest isn't supported; it's for PC.

#7: The Mafia Widow / EDEN Oasis

4,226 likes five days after release. A black mini dress layered under a long coat, finished with a veiled hat — a set built on the idea of a mafia widow. It's a new release from EDEN Oasis — the creator behind the popular "Velvet Curse Dress" — a shop that has kept showing up near the top through last issue (July 20) and before.

The sleeves are black sheer worked with a floral pattern, and a wide belt wraps the waist several times over. A blue rose and a veil sit on the hat, with a holster and pistol at the thigh. Mourning stillness and danger are set side by side.

The movement is the highlight: the pistol responds to hand signs, and the coat's hem can be driven by a parameter. That adds a touch of theater to how you stand, which shows up in photos. It comes in two lines, black and deep red, covering 19 avatars at ▲125,584 total polygons. List prices are ¥1,700 for a single item and ¥3,500 for the full set, with a launch sale running at measurement time.

PV by EDEN Oasis

#8: Side Ribbon Long Hair / Li-ne_Shop

4,051 likes five days after release. Long hair reaching past the waist, tucked behind one ear and opened up with a thin braid and a ribbon. It's a new release from Li-ne_Shop — the creator behind the popular "Lovely Low Twintail Hair" — a shop that has sent out several hairstyles past 20,000 likes.

From the front, one side is tucked behind the ear to open up the face, with a thin braid falling from there toward the chest. The other side stays down. Giving each side a different treatment keeps the silhouette from going flat, even in a single long style.

It ships with 32 materials, so color and finish can be chosen in detail. There are 177 shape keys, covering 20 avatars including Airi, Shinano, Chocolat, and Manuka. Modular Avatar lets you restyle it and toggle accessories, with a note up front that it uses 9 parameter memory. The list price is ¥1,000, with a launch sale running at measurement time.

#9: Mono Panther / LOVACE

2,348 likes three days after release. A free accessory pairing leopard-print ears with a matching tail.

Long fur is planted inside the ears and along the tail, softening their outlines. The print is kept to monochrome white and black, and with the palette held down it doesn't clash with anything you wear. The tail is long enough to draw a wide arc behind the body, with sway settings applied.

It covers 7 avatars: Kumaly, LUMINA, Milltina, Shinano, Airi, Mayo, and Manuka. No outfit is included — just the ears and tail. Animal ears are a staple subject, and the strength here is making the whole impression out of nothing but the print and the length of the fur.

#10: Sugar Punk - SWEET / VELLIE

4,106 likes five days after release. A set pairing a layered frilled blouse and mini skirt with a harness belt and lace-up boots. It's a new release from VELLIE — the creator behind the popular "Urban Grace - City" — built around mixing punk hardware into a sweet palette.

A beret, ribbons, chest frills, and a pouch hung with a rabbit plush — that's the sweet side. Onto that go a black leather harness, thigh belts, and studded lace-up boots. Refusing to land fully on either sweetness or hardness is what this outfit is designed around.

It comes in pink, purple, blue and more, covering 19 avatars. VELLIE opened the product page ahead of launch and ran a giveaway on X alongside a hook where every 100 additional likes on the page added one more winner, then released it on July 24. List prices are ¥1,800 for a single item and ¥3,800 for the full pack, with a launch sale running at measurement time.

Category Picks (#11–#30)

The Top 10 inevitably leans toward the strongest categories, so from here we go through #11–#30 category by category. This issue we could pull from all seven: outfits, hair, gimmicks & tools, accessories, avatars, props, and textures.

Outfits

13 of the 30 rising items are outfits — the deepest category again this issue. From the ones that didn't make the Top 10, here are two headed in different directions.

First, a piece that runs entirely on black.

SEREL STUDIO®'s "Leather Bodysuit Set" is #17 (2,895 likes, 5 days). A glossy bodysuit under a leather biker jacket, finished with sunglasses, a choker, a harness, and over-the-knee boots. It runs ▲103,042 polygons in total, with the product page breaking out the count for each included piece — bodysuit, outer, boots, gloves and the rest.

It covers 19 avatars. The page went up on its own on July 21, with sales starting at 18:00 on the 25th — a run-up that gathers people for the moment of release. List prices are ¥1,600 for a single set and ¥3,200 for the full set, with a launch sale running at measurement time.

The other is a boldly priced piece for smaller avatars.

【RE】's "RE:SPORTS" is #26 (1,735 likes, 4 days). Training wear pairing a cropped sports bra and shorts with a loose jersey worn over the top. It covers 13 avatars, including the shared base body of Lime and Rurune plus the small-avatar group "Mamefriends" — Kipfel and Mamehinata among them — at ¥300. 【RE】 also sent two knit outfits into last issue (July 20) at once, keeping up a pattern of stacking modestly priced releases at short intervals.

Hair

Hair makes up 5 of the 30. Following the two in the Top 10, here's one with a gimmick that lands.

Pokotaya's "Untie-and-Tie Bun Ponytail" is #18 (2,450 likes, 5 days). Make a fist behind your head and it becomes a ponytail; open your hand and it ties back into a bun — a hairstyle that switches the way the hair itself is put up. The motion of letting your hair down is the gimmick.

The kanzashi is held in the hand, so the flow from untying to putting it back in is built out too. Shape keys are granular — 13 for the bangs, 10 for the sides, 19 for the back — and texture variations include three gradients, streaks, and two-tone. A gimmick-free Prefab is also included, so anyone who doesn't need the switch can still use it. Confirmed on 15 avatars including Manuka, Chiffon, Rurune, and Shinano, at ¥840.

Gimmicks & Tools

Gimmicks & tools are 3 of the 30. The two behind the Top 10's Real Sweat System are both free — and both name themselves after the exact problem they solve.

Samalabo's "FaceMake" is #11 (2,269 likes, 2 days). A Unity extension that lets you adjust an avatar's face the way you would in a game's character creator.

Avatar faces routinely carry hundreds of shape keys, so even something as simple as easing the eyes downward means hunting for the right entry in a list of names. This tool sorts shape keys automatically into brows, eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth, jawline, and ears, judging by mesh shape as well as by name. On top of that, clicking an eye or the mouth in the preview brings up only the shape keys that move that spot, ordered by how much they move it.

It also includes a face-only view with hair and outfit hidden, right-drag rotation, snapshots that save a face with a thumbnail, and JSON export and import. It's free, with a ¥300 support version of identical content alongside it.

The other takes the work of positioning nails off your hands.

EPIC's "NailFitter" is #23 (2,594 likes, 6 days). Unless a nail product explicitly lists your avatar, fitting nails in VRChat means matching position, angle, and size finger by finger. Drop the nail Prefab directly under the avatar and this tool detects all ten, placing them automatically against each finger's center, direction, and surface. It's non-destructive — the mesh itself is never deformed — and you can fine-tune per finger afterward. It even mirrors adjustments from one hand to the other, and it's free as well.

Accessories

Accessories are 4 of the 30. Following the two in the Top 10 is the very thing NailFitter is for: nails, rising in the same week.

y4n's "Cross Gleam Nail" is #22 (1,524 likes, 3 days). Long nails tapering toward the tip, decorated with crosses and light. Six colorways are included, from a pink-to-black gradient to a pale white-and-blue mix.

It was released as a three-day free giveaway to mark 1,000 Booth followers. At measurement time it was inside that free window; it has since moved to ¥900 for the full pack and ¥400 per color. It covers 10 avatars including Chocolat, LUMINA, Manuka, and Milfy — Kaguya among them.

Avatars

Avatars are 2 of the 30. Alongside Kaguya, which gave up the top spot, one more came in from outside the Top 10.

Mokumoku Nedoko's "Finisif" is #14 (2,113 likes, 3 days). An original avatar cast as a white cat prince who set out to find his runaway younger brother. Large triangular ears, a plump ribbon tie, a long coat, and boots keep it in traveling dress throughout.

The included book can be pulled out from the menu, and the artwork inside changes just by swapping the texture. A cream stew and a bag come with it too. Polygons run about 100,000 with gimmicks and about 70,000 without, with 131 facial shape keys. It uses the same base body as Loronye, and it's PC-only with no Quest support. A try-on world is available. The list price is ¥3,000, with a launch sale running at measurement time.

Props

Props are 2 of the 30. One of them is a food prop spun off from a summer outfit that also appeared in last issue's full list.

#Relee's "Watermelon Gimmick" is #15 (1,937 likes, 2 days). A watermelon released on its own page as additional content for "Summer Dew," the outfit sitting at #27 this issue.

Bring the watermelon in your hand toward your mouth and the eating gimmick fires, the flesh shrinking with each bite until only the rind is left. It covers 21+ avatars, free through July 31 and ¥100 from August 1 (anyone who bought the outfit itself can still get it from the outfit page afterward).

Textures

Textures are 1 of the 30 — a material that changes how skin reads.

NyarBit's "Mat Material Liltoon" is #12 (2,140 likes, 3 days). A lilToon material that keeps a sense of translucency while finishing matte, bundling settings for shadows, rim shade, normal maps, backlight, matcap, and rim light into one package.

Using it means opening the imported material and dropping in your own texture; everything past that is yours to adjust. The list price is ¥500, with an ¥800 support version of identical content alongside it. As a bonus, a shoulder bag shaped like a mansion comes free.

Keywords: free releases, and the skin itself

Top 20 Keywords

Frequency of VRCFinder's own keyword tags — useful for spotting trending tastes and features.

In the keyword tally across the rising 30, free stands out at 10, followed by lilToon compatible (5) and Modular Avatar compatible (4) on the setup side. On the content side, what catches the eye is photography-oriented (4), skin-showing (4), and midriff-baring (3) — summer looks that show skin sitting next to pieces built for how they photograph.

Where last issue leaned on Japanese-style accessories and swimsuits, this issue's interest moved to how the skin itself reads. The sweat system at #6, the matte material at #12, and the nails at #22 all handle skin quality rather than something you put on — and they line up across categories.

Supported models: Shinano in 21 of 30, Kaguya's base body settling in

Top 10 Supported Models

Distribution of supported avatar models.

The most-declared support went to Shinano (21), Milltina (19), Chocolat (18), Manuka (18), and Rurune (18). The pattern where fast-rising releases finish simultaneous support for popular avatars up front holds again this issue.

What stands out is Rurune at 18, up among the leaders. Rurune shares a base body with #4's Kaguya, so the movement visible last issue — everything around the top avatar adding support at once — has now settled in. Leather Bodysuit Set and RE:SPORTS in the outfits section, and Cross Gleam Nail in accessories, all list Kaguya among their supported avatars.

Price: 10 free items, each with a different exit

Price Distribution

Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.

Prices peak at ¥1,000–1,999 with 11 items, followed by free with 10 and ¥500–999 with 6. Free reaching 10 of the 30 is this issue's biggest shift.

Look closer and both the reason for being free and the exit afterward differ every time: a shop's first free outfit (#2), a giveaway timed to Kipfel's anniversary (#5), a three-day run for 1,000 followers that has since moved to paid (#22), a prop that switches to ¥100 on July 31 (#15), and tools released free while in development with a support version alongside (#11, #23). Giveaways with a deadline and giveaways without one appeared side by side — that's the difference from last issue. Note that the prices and sales here are all from the measurement date, and many are time-limited.

A creator's-eye view of "how it's released"

The rising ranking is where "how it went to market" shows up most clearly, on top of the appeal of the work itself. Here are four repeatable release moves from this issue's Top 30.

Creator takeaways:

  1. Releasing works that share a world, back to back, produces multiple placements — CYCR (Cyber Critter) followed last issue's #2, "Silent Code," with "Off-Air," built in the same broadcast-city world. This issue those two plus a prop put three of the shop's items inside the Top 30. Release the next piece in the same world while one is still climbing, and people who found one arrive at the other — the pattern from last issue is continuing.
  2. Free releases come with an exit already designed — the 10 free items aren't all staying free. The nails for 1,000 followers (#22) flipped to paid after three days, and the watermelon gimmick (#15) becomes ¥100 on July 31. The in-development tool (#11) stays free with an identical support version placed next to it. Deciding how long it's free, and what happens next, turns the giveaway itself into an announcement.
  3. Split the main work and its add-on across two pages — #Relee published the watermelon gimmick, an add-on for the "Summer Dew" outfit, as its own product page rather than inside the outfit's. The free prop page landed in the Top 30 on its own, passing interest along to the outfit itself (#27). Choosing not to keep one work on one page doubled the exposure.
  4. Name the tool after the problem — "FaceMake" (#11) and "NailFitter" (#23) both take a concrete task — editing a face, fitting nails — and put it in the name. What it does comes across from the name alone, so it reaches the people stuck on exactly that. It's the opposite direction from naming a work for its world, and it's how tools get delivered.

Wrap-up

Lining up this issue's 30, what came through is that free giveaways have moved from being an entry point to being part of the design. The count matters — 10 out of 30 — but what stands out more is how each one handles its exit. Nails that flip to paid after three days, a watermelon that becomes ¥100 on July 31, a tool with an identical support version placed beside it, and loungewear and accessories left free with no deadline at all. Now that free itself is no longer unusual, the judgment about how long and in what form to give something away is where each creator's character shows.

Amid that, the sweat system at #6 stood apart. Not an outfit, not hair, not an accessory — a product that only changes how skin reads gathered nearly 3,000 likes in four days. Sweat that builds as you move and dries when you stop: a release that chases down that single point climbing this high may be a sign that, with plenty of things to wear already available, a lot of people are looking for what to build out next. Follow what's rising, and you start to see what VRChat was asking for that week.

About the Data

  • Measurement date: 2026-07-27
  • Scope: items released on Booth between 2026-04-27 and 2026-07-27 (2,388 items)
  • Ranking basis: likes ÷ days since release (a floor of 3 days is used for items under 3 days old), in descending order. This is momentum — how fast likes accumulate — not total likes. It uses the same calculation as the site's trending page
  • What "N days" means: days since release are calculated from VRCFinder's data-collection point (the measurement date), not from the date shown on the Booth page
  • Rankings are a rough guide: this measurement shifts a lot with collection timing. It isn't meant to pit items against each other, but to show the new releases many people are watching right now
  • Inclusion: VRCFinder's database only collects items with 300+ likes, so anything below 300 likes at measurement time isn't included
  • Prices in the article are list prices confirmed on each Booth product page. Items on sale are noted as being on sale at the measurement date
  • Note: the figures and ranks here are a snapshot as of the measurement date and don't reflect later changes, so they may differ from current values. "Released" refers to when the Booth product page went public
  • Giveaway formats, prices, and sales are as of the measurement date. Time-limited giveaways and sales may have ended after publication. Please check the latest info on the Booth product page before purchasing
