#1: TwinkleTulleRibbon / なっふな堂

It took the sole top spot among August 2025 accessories (6,259 likes), and it did so at ¥0. The body comes in 16 color variations — white reads with pink accents, black with white — so it swings from sweet Lolita to a grown-up monochrome. It sways with PhysBone and ships set up for Modular Avatar and lilToon.

What's interesting about this ribbon is how it was released. なっふな堂 put it out for free as a thank-you for "7/27 — Naffunado Day." A hair accessory shared with no price tag, timed to a moment of gratitude, ended up at the very top of August's accessories — and as we'll see, August was a month where free items piled up in the upper ranks, with this #1 as its symbol.

Shinano leads alone at 47, and Rurune rises to second at 44. As a representative of designs that support many avatars at once, here's one from outside the Top 10.

#OwnPath's "Goth Punk Kitty Long Nail" is a red-and-black long nail set adorned with cat faces (× eyes), paw pads, and crosses. The pointed goth-punk nails let you pick the cat expression from four types, with a touch of poison, and it includes position-fitted data for 26 avatars — Manuka, Airi, Shinano, Milltina and more. Accessory type: halos take the lead, piercings and ribbons follow

The type tally is halo 26 / piercing 25 / ribbon 22 / earrings 18 / chain 16 / hairpin 15 / hair ornament 15 / nails 14 / tail 11 / wings 11. Halos take the type lead at 26. July ran piercing 32, halo 28; August flips it slightly to halo 26, piercing 25. In that halo bracket, the standout as a new entry in an ongoing monthly series is this one.

Re.works' "Astralis Orbit - Leo" is an accessory set from a zodiac series that shapes the twelve constellations one per month. A shared halo-and-ring base combines with that month's constellation motif — August is Leo — and the blue, lantern-like ornament and rings glow softly with animation and particles in the dark. On the Cute side that gave up the lead, one piece caught the eye with a practical gimmick.

金曜雑貨's "Volume Hairpin" is a hairpin where the loudness of your voice appears as a waveform above your head. Colors swap easily with the included PNG, and beyond the head version there are prefabs for the neck and both hands. From a general store that drops a new item every Friday, it adds a "responds when you speak" trick to a sweet look — a Cute × gimmick piece. ¥300.

Price: 96% under ¥1,000, free is among the biggest buckets

The price spread is free 69 / ¥1–499 at 58 / ¥500–999 at 75 / ¥1,000–1,999 at 8 / ¥2,000–2,999 at 1.
