[April 2026] Top 10 Popular VRChat Accessories | Booth Trend Analysis

A data-driven look back at the new VRChat accessories published on Booth in April 2026, ranked by the likes they gathered. What stood out in April was a distribution playbook: launch via a follower-milestone or limited-time free release to gather likes fast, then switch over to paid. In the Top 10, only #4 White Clover (¥150) and #10 HALOFEED (¥600) were paid from the start; the rest all have a history of going out as free or anniversary releases. Four are still free today (#6–#9), while #2, #3, and #5 have since switched to paid. Even the #1 rose-laden gothic headdress went out as a limited-time free release twice before being brushed up and re-published as a paid permanent edition. Free sits at about 31% of the pool (31 / 101), the median price is ¥300, and the concentration in the low end continues. Halos took the type lead for a fourth straight month, while "cute," "girly," and "cool" ran neck-and-neck on taste.

📊 About the data Aggregated: 2026-06-07 / Scope: accessories published 2026-04-01 to 2026-04-30 with 300+ likes (101 items)

Top 10 Accessories

Ranked by like count as of the aggregation date (June 2026), with a look at what makes each one tick.

#1: GothicHeadDress 2.0+ / Ameli3

A gothic headdress that bundles angel-and-devil-style wings, twisted horns, and roses all the way around. With a swaying ribbon and a silver scissors charm added in, it's an aesthetic headpiece that took April's outright #1 in accessories (5,440 likes). The body and roses come with color variations and recolor masks, so you can change the palette to taste.

What makes it interesting is that each part — wings, horns, roses, scissors — has a positioning bone built in, so you can move and resize them in Unity to rebuild the layout. Add more roses, change the wing angle, make the scissors stand out — you can tune how much you pile on from the same set. It's shaped to fit Manuka's hair by default, with adjustment shape keys to blend it onto other hairstyles, and parts like the ribbon sway with PhysBone. ¥880–¥1,000.

What's worth noting is how it was rolled out. This headdress went out as a roughly three-week limited-time free release twice — in December 2023 and November 2025. Building on the people and word-of-mouth it gathered then, the creator added color variations and recolor masks, brushed it up, and switched it to a paid permanent edition as "2.0+" in April 2026. Spread it widely once through a milestone or limited-time free release, then polish it and sell it paid for the long run — it's a piece that has practiced, over more than two years, the very distribution playbook running through April's accessories, and that arc shows in its #1 finish.

#2: Cat Ear Ribbon / ALICE

A big black bow worn at the back of the head. From the front, the two ends of the bow read as a cat-ear silhouette — its charm point is doing "cat ears" and "big bow" in a single shape. It was prepared as a 40,000-follower milestone gift; it went out as an anniversary giveaway at launch and now sits at ¥300–¥500 (4,661 likes).

It's very light at △1,492, with two 512×512 textures, one material, and PhysBone sway. It's set up for Shinano, so it fits the default Shinano as-is; for other avatars you scale and position the "Head" bone to fit — a universal design. Adding a bow to the back of the head and getting the cat-ear read along with it is a nicely subtractive idea.

#3: Black Rimmed Glasses / y4n

Classic black-rimmed glasses whose thick frame tightens up the face. The appeal is its simplicity — no extra ornament, equally at home as intellectual or casual — and it landed at #3 (4,438 likes). It's ¥300 now; there was a short free window right after launch, and it stacked up its likes during that stretch.

Inside is a UnityPackage (Prefab / Material / PNG / FBX), lilToon shader, roughly △3,276 polygons. It includes adjustment blendshapes, and you fit it by dropping it onto the bone you want it to follow, or via something like MA BoneProxy. There's a note that the lens material is a touch heavy, but the simple look comes with plenty of install freedom.

#4: White Clover Accessory / meron-farm

A flower crown woven from white clover, paired with a ring, a necklace, and a kintsugi-inspired arm ornament — a natural spring set. White blossoms and four-leaf green with gold lines running through make for a clean, demure build, and it reached #4 (2,921 likes). ¥150.

The set breaks down into the flower crown (△8,000), necklace (△4,422), ring (△712), and arm piece (△188), plus standalone clover and flower parts, so it's easy to use just the crown, or just the ring. It's tuned for Shinra, but deform shape keys let you blend it onto other avatars. Together with the Nemophila crown at #9 below, it's one of two "spring flower" pieces in April's Top 10.

#5: #OwnPath Thanksgiving Nail / #OwnPath

Punk-leaning long nails — a matte black base packed with silver studs and set with cross, fleur-de-lis, and horsebit charms. Color variants line up the black base with red, pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple stones, a set that takes the gothic right down to your fingertips. #5 (2,569 likes). It went out free for a one-week limited window as a 10,000 / 5,000 thank-you campaign, then switched to ¥500–¥2,000.

Its standout trait is being the only "list-type" piece in the Top 10, with 28 avatars covered. Manuka, Kumaly, Airi, Shinano, Milltina, Lumina, Sio, Mayo, and on — a wide lineup, each with a Prefab positioned to fit. As small-footprint accessories drift toward universal designs (see the trends below), this one stood out instead by going the other way: naming a big roster of avatars on a fingertip part, and winning on the sheer breadth of its support.

#6: Angelic Gem Ring / ぽぽぽらいぶらりー

A ring and bracelet set where little angel wings sprout from the band, topped with a heart-shaped gem. A lovely ring and bracelet cradling light-blue, blue, and clear gems. Released as a 1,000-follower milestone, and the free version is still available (¥0–¥500, 2,500 likes).

The free version has rings and a bracelet with opaque and translucent gems; the paid version (¥500) adds five gem variations plus a material you can drop your own photo into, and a black-metal material. Since you can set a memento photo into the gem, you can make it a ring that holds a photo all your own. It's set up for Mayo, and installs onto other avatars with adjustment via MA + lilToon.

#7: internet_cat / MT47

A light-blue cat-ear hair piece scattered with 2000s-internet memes around the head — a "Error: You are an idiot" Windows-style popup, a "404," a CD with a music note, a star — a Y2K hair accessory. A little white cat is clamped in its mouth, and that cat even has a thrashing animation: a piece that's pure playfulness. It's free as an 8,500-follower milestone release (¥0–¥100, 2,246 likes).

This is a new release from MT47, the creator whose "Memory_C" — a heart-locket choker you could drop a 3D model or photo into — placed #7 in March's accessory report. After the quiet "store-your-keepsake" direction of that piece, this one swings the other way into pop meme-stacking; seeing the same creator put out opposite tastes across months is the fun part. It landed at #7 again this time.

It comes in two colors, and ships with a Prefab positioned for Milfy, but it's universal — adjust position and size with bones and it fits other avatars too. MA + lilToon.

#8: Osmanthus Glasses / Mokusei Studio

Round, gold-framed glasses with osmanthus (small orange blossoms) set on the temples and lenses — a refined piece. The design drops the shop's own logo flower, osmanthus, straight onto an accessory, and it was given away free as a 500-follower milestone gift (2,098 likes).

The nice part is how color and lenses are split out: the lens comes as two materials, with and without the osmanthus print, and you can shift the frame to your preferred color by editing the main color's HDR. There are shape keys to adjust the length and angle of the metal arms, and it's MA-compatible (initial position tuned for Marycia), installing by drag-and-drop and then adjustment. There's even a display world to check the sizing — a free release that thought through ease of install, too.

#9: Nemophila Flower Crown / しらふくのおみせ

A simple flower-crown headpiece stringing pale-blue nemophila all the way around. No extra ornament — just the flowers — for a fragile, lovely piece, and it reached #9 (2,057 likes) as a free asset.

Inside is a UnityPackage (FBX / Prefab / Texture / Material), lilToon shader. Its appeal is how easily it goes on — just rest it on the head — and it shines as-is for spring outdoor photos and outings. Together with the White Clover piece at #4, April's Top 10 has two "flowers on the head" crowns. With blue nemophila and white clover, even the same flower-crown idea splits by seasonal color — that's part of the fun.

#10: HALOFEED / nekopenshop

A near-future halo billed as a "bio-halo device," floating on bio-energy. #10 (1,875 likes), ¥600.

A halo is usually just "a ring of light floating above the head" on its own — but this one is built as a sci-fi gadget, with a heartbeat (ECG) device at the neck and a cable running up from it to the ring overhead. The "a bio-energy supply drives the glowing ring" premise is baked right into the construction itself: device, cable, glowing ring. It comes in four colors — orange, blue, black, white — with recolor masks included. The parts are split out, so you can use just the ring, or just the device, as you like. It's position-tuned for Shinano, and shape-key/bone adjustment fits it onto other avatars; MA + lilToon. A staple head accessory with a layer of near-future-gadget worldbuilding added on top.

The median price is ¥300, down from March's ¥380. Yet the median like count, at 577, didn't fall from March's 539 — so even as the price ceiling dropped, the volume of pieces getting picked up didn't. Free sits at 31 of the 101 items (about 31%); after 27% in January, 22% in February, and 24% in March, that's a gentle new high. But April's signature is less the raw amount of free and more the distribution playbook — publish via a milestone or limited-time free release to gather likes, then switch to paid — stacking up across the top.

Supported models: Shinano leads alone, with Lumina, Sio, and Marycia climbing

Top 10 Supported Models

Distribution of supported avatar models.

The supported-model tally runs Shinano 29 / Milltina 21 / Lumina 16 / Sio 15 / Marycia 15 / Kipfel 14 / Chocolat 14 / Milfy 14 / Rurune 14 / Manuka 13. Compared with March (Shinano 30 / Milltina 27 / Manuka 24), Shinano holds the lead, Milltina keeps second, and Lumina, Sio, and Marycia have climbed into the top. Putting relatively newer bases above the staples Shinano and Milltina was the shape that reached April's buyers.

As a representative of a design that fits broadly with one piece, here's one from outside the Top 10.

RururiLab's "Hirameki Megane Shiny Glasses" fits 45 avatars in one simple pair. And it's more than just broad compatibility: touch the center of the glasses to toggle a glow on and off, with a menu to adjust the glow level — a built-in glow gimmick. There's even a playful install where you Grab the glasses with your right hand, open your hand by your head to put them on, and can even pin them in the world. ¥500–¥700.

Accessory type: halos top the chart for a fourth straight month, piercings and ribbons next

Top 10 Accessory Types

Distribution of accessory and decoration types.

The type tally is halos 13 / piercings 12 / ribbons 11 / flower ornaments 11 / chains 9 / earrings 8 / nails 8 / glasses 8 / nail tips 7 / hairpins 7. Halos take the type lead for a fourth straight month (January 20 → February 15 → March 17 → April 13), with piercings and ribbons next. Flower ornaments at 11 are thick too, lining up with the two spring flower crowns in the Top 10. The Top 10 itself spread widely across types — headdress, ribbon, two pairs of glasses, two flower crowns, nails, a hair piece, a ring, and a halo — from the head down to the hands.

In that halo bucket, here's one that adds worldbuilding above the head.

Annie3D's "Angel Wing & Halo Set" pairs the halo with fluffy, animated angel wings. The wings come in six colors — white, black, pink, blue, cream, green — and between the wings (auto-placed on the back) and the halo (position- and size-adjustable), you can assemble the whole angel look at once. It's an example of a halo that hands over not just the ring but a whole worldview, wings included. Free.

Taste: "cute" leads, with girly and cool neck-and-neck

Top 10 Taste Tags

Which taste/aesthetic tags appeared most in this theme.

The taste tally runs cute 26 / girly 21 / cool 21 / fantastical 17 / yume-kawaii 15 / dark 15 / refined 13 / natural 12 / elegant 11 / simple 9. "Cute" leads at 26, with girly 21 and cool 21 lined up just below — the sweet cluster (cute + girly + yume-kawaii) is thick, while a tougher cluster of cool 21 and dark 15 holds its own right alongside it.

On the cool side, this one caught the eye.

flow4ge's "Neck accessory 12" is a street-leaning chain necklace, a silver chain with a carabiner and a plate charm. You can swap among three charm types by toggling meshes, and it has PhysBone sway and adjustment shape keys. This one, too, was given away free for a limited time as a 15,000-follower milestone, and is now sold at ¥400.

For the girly-meets-yami-kawaii direction, this one also showed up.

Zenmai's "Crybaby Cat-Chan SET" is a two-piece of a plaid cat-ear beanie with skull and star patches, paired with red "crybaby glasses." Down to the sulky, red-rimmed-eye expression, it's a free release that adds a sweet, fragile air to jirai-kei and mass-produced looks; it's Manuka-based and MA-compatible.

Pricing: concentrated from free to a single coin, 98% under ¥1,000

Price Distribution

Price bucket distribution for products in this theme during the period.

The price split is free 31 / ¥1–499 at 34 / ¥500–999 at 34 / ¥1,000–1,999 at 2 / ¥2,000+ at 0. Free at 31, ¥1–499 at 34, and ¥500–999 at 34 are nearly a three-way tie, stacked thick across the low end from free up to a single coin. Under ¥1,000 covers 99 of 101 items — about 98%; only 2 sit at ¥1,000 or more, and ¥2,000-plus is at zero for a fourth straight month. The price ceiling came down further and the concentration in the entry band deepened.

In the ¥1–499 band, here's a piece with a sense of play.

4611's "A Bird Eating Hair!" is a head accessory shaped like a little bird pecking at the hair. Drop the Prefab onto the avatar's Head bone and you're done, and the wobbling little bird adds a goofy charm above the head. At △3,050 and ¥150, it's a piece that adds a pinch of play in the low-price band.

Creator-side view of April: how free releases are structured

From the Top 10 and the April pool as a whole, here are four axes accessory creators may want to note. I've lined up the four months from January so the deltas are easy to see.

Halos (overall)20151713

Points accessory creators may want to note:

  1. A distribution playbook: launch via a milestone or limited-time free release, polish it, and switch to paid — In April's Top 10, only #4 White Clover (¥150) and #10 HALOFEED (¥600) were paid from the start; the other eight have a history of going out as free or anniversary releases. Four are still free today (#6–#9), while #2 Cat Ear Ribbon (now ¥300–¥500), #3 Black Rimmed Glasses (now ¥300), and #5 Thanksgiving Nail (now ¥500–¥2,000) switched to paid after their giveaway windows. The #1 GothicHeadDress goes furthest: it ran as a limited-time free release twice (December 2023, November 2025), then added color variations and recolor masks and went paid-permanent as 2.0+. Neck accessory 12 from the trends section (free for a limited time at 15,000 followers → ¥400) and the "Silky Beats" headphones (free only April 7–10 for a one-year anniversary) fit the same mold. Spread it free via a milestone or limited window to grab likes and reach, then move to regular/support sales — or polish it into a paid permanent edition — that structure stacked thick across April's top.

  2. Free sits at about 31%, a gentle new high, with follower milestones as the trigger — Free is 31 of the 101 items (about 31%); after January's 27% → February 22% → March 24% → April 31%, the share itself is a gentle climb to a new high. The free and anniversary releases in the Top 10 mostly trigger off follower milestones — 40,000 (#2), 8,500 (#7), 1,000 (#6), 500 (#8), plus a thank-you campaign (#5). Accessories cost less to make per piece than outfits or hairstyles, which makes it easy to give one away free at an easy-to-read milestone to grab awareness — and that meshes with the playbook above (launch free → go paid) to drive the top in April.

  3. Halos hold the type lead for a fourth straight month, but they're growing beyond "just a ring" — Halos are the type leader for a fourth month (20 → 15 → 17 → 13). But April's halos are spreading from a plain ring above the head toward added construction: the SF-gadget type like #10 HALOFEED with its "neck heartbeat device + cable + glowing ring," or the angel type bundled with wings like the Angel Wing & Halo Set in the trends section. Even as a staple type, there's room left to differentiate with added settings or bundled parts.

  4. Universal designs that don't lock to a model are the norm; only #5 ships an explicit list — In the Top 10, only #5 Thanksgiving Nail (28 avatars) carries an explicit avatar list; the other nine are "a base-model setup plus shape-key/bone adjustment for universal fit." Following March (9 universal), small-footprint accessories with light fitting overhead default to spreading wide via universal Prefab + adjustment keys rather than maintaining a support list. The supported-model tally has Shinano leading alone, with Lumina, Sio, and Marycia in the top. If you're choosing fit targets for a new piece, adding those to the staples Shinano and Milltina was the way to reach April's buyers.

Wrap-up

April 2026's new accessories were a month where a distribution playbook — publish via a milestone or limited-time free release to gather likes, then switch to paid — stacked thick across the top. Only #4 White Clover (¥150) and #10 HALOFEED (¥600) were paid from the start; the rest have a history of going out as free or anniversary releases. Four are still free today (#6–#9), while #2, #3, and #5 switched to paid after their giveaway windows. The #1 rose-laden gothic headdress, too, ran free twice for limited windows before being polished and re-published as a paid permanent edition.

Free sits at about 31% of the pool (31 / 101), a gentle new high, with the median price at ¥300 and 98% under ¥1,000 — the concentration in the low end continues. Halos held the type lead for a fourth straight month while growing toward adding SF-gadget settings above the ring like HALOFEED, and taste ran cute/girly/cool neck-and-neck. Launch a free giveaway at a milestone, spread awareness fast, then polish it and sell it paid for the long run — the more creators keep returning their follower milestones in the form of an accessory, the more that accumulation shows up directly in the ranking, and it reads as a category where the effort comes back to you.
